Anna POV

I can't believe this. He is MINE! Trixie, Molly, and I came back up to the library to talk after those wh**es were announced. No one would be up here and we can hear if someone comes in. "What do we do now," Trixie asks. I look at her, she's very pretty with long blonde hair and blue eyes. Molly was pretty too with her shoulder length blonde hair and brown eyes. Any man would be thrilled to have us, but Jace, Devon, and Dylan, for some reason, didn't.

The meeting is over. I can hear the hustle of people. I look out the window and I see two of the so-called dragons sitting with someone. I look closer, "son of a b**ch, Stacey Blackfur is sitting and being lovey dovey with one of those things," I say, drawing the attention of Trixie and Molly. "Ugh, now she will be behind Dylan not being with me even more," Trixie whines. Stacey never liked any of us. That's fine though. She was a b**ch.

I keep watching then I see Linda, Jace's mom join them and then shortly the others follow. "Ugh, we have to do something. Those men will be ours," I say. The other two nod, "what do we do. They won't even look at us and they are attached to those girls now," Molly says. Suddenly, I see one of the dragons stand up and runs to, "Damnit, one of them just attached themselves to Stella, we really need to get rid of them," I say with disgust.

I hear the doors open and several footsteps and someone talking, "so the dragons have come out to play. We must get one of the royal dragons, we need their blood to make the life extending potion and their scales will make for excellent armor." I hear one voice say. "Yes, we will have too ...," the second voice stops as they round the corner and see us. Ugh, witches. I smile though because they want the dragons and I want the alpha. "Hello ladies, I hear you want the dragons. Maybe we can help with that," I say. They stare at us, "aren't you one of the girls that was a chosen mate for alpha Jace, " the first voice says. "Yes, and he will still be mine. What if we can get you a certain dragon princess? Would she suit your needs," I say. The other girls look at me. "Anna, what are you doing? They are talking about draining blood and stripping scales," Trixie whispers to me. "I know, but they will take Mina away from Jace and I'll be there to pick him up. Then I can work on getting rid of the other two for you two," I whisper back giving the witches time to talk.

"We are interested in working with you. It seems we can benefit each other for the moment," the first voice replies. "My name is Eve, I am the coven leader for the South East, " she finishes. "Perfect, I feel we will be very good allies for the time," I smile wickedly at her. "Come with us. We have a room reserved here for us with a silencing spell so no one can overhear us.

We head off to the witches' room. 'Anna, I don't think this is a good idea. We don't have to reject our mate. He is handsome and strong too,' My wolf Bella says. 'He's just a warrior, I want the Alpha, I deserve to be Luna,' I reply to her. 'But Anna, the moon goddess paired us with the person we should be with. We are not meant to be Luna. I fear we are going down a path we cannot come back from if we continue,’ she states and closes the link before I can respond. That has me thinking and a little worried, but I quickly shut that down and focus on getting my Alpha. Trixie and Molly share nervous looks but follow anyways.

Eve POV

Sitting in the meeting hall waiting for everything to start I keep listening into conversations about dragons. “I thought the dragons went extinct,” said my second Tally. “As did I, but apparently, they just went into hiding, very good hiding since our ancestors couldn’t find them. We will have to have a discussion and plan how to get one of them. Let us listen and see whom we are dealing with,” I say as we continue to listen in.

The meeting starts and to my delight, the council asks the dragons to introduce themselves. So we have the king, the prince and princess. Interesting, so the three most important dragons are out and about.

I don’t pay attention to the rest of the meeting, I just studying the dragons. It seems that the prince and princess are mated to wolves. Great! I roll my eyes. Witches have always had a touchy relationship with wolves. Some covens have a good relationship with packs, mine does not. I don’t like wolves personally, smelly creatures. The meeting comes to an end and everyone has left. Our table gets up to leave, “We need to have a discussion,” I say quiet enough for them to hear but no one else. I walk out of the hall and go up the stairs to the library. I need to see if they have the book I am looking for.

We get into the library, "so the dragons have come out to play. We must get one of the royal dragons, we need their blood to make the life extending potion and their scales will make for excellent armor." I say as I start walking ot the section that the book may be at. “Yes, we will have too…” I hear Tally start to talk but she stops suddenly when we round the corner and there are three shewolves looking at us. One of them steps up and says that they can help us. ‘Not likely’ I think to myself. She explains that they think they can get us the princess. Well, we may as well see if we can benefit each other. I say that we have a deal and they follow us to the back room that we have reserved and spelled for us. “Take them into the room, I need to find a book,” I say as I break away from the group.

I continue to look through the witch section. “Ah! They do have it,” I say to myself as I grab the book I was looking for. ‘Dragon and Witch History’ I can feel the magic on this book. It looks like it is just a history of our two species, but it is much more. I head to the back room with the book in hand and enter. “So, how do we go about getting the princess away from her wolf and the other dragons,” I ask. Everyone grins wickedly.
