chapter: one The atmosphere is reeked with smoke, blood, and sweat from the moon shadow pack which was once a powerful pack now suffering to survive against their rival skyline pack that has dominated. The alpha of the moon shadow pack whose name is Thane Blackwood, had been in confusion how he could defeat his rival the skyline pack that always launched an attack over them with their spirit of darkness. Amid confusion and disorder Emily's mother, Arias was pregnant, she was forward with determination. Her packmate rallied around Arias and they were fearful and defiant. There has been a prophecy that came to Arias about her unborn child and how powerful the child will be in rescuing the moon shadow pack from their b*****e. Thane Blackwood never stops to protect his pregnant wife from any attacks by the skyline pack despite that the prophecy on Emily was untold to him. Even the members of the moon shadow pack had never known how and when the prophecy would come into fulfillment. Their faith continues, failing their hope about giving up as long as Skyline Pack continues attacking them. But as the battle started again, Aria looked for shelter in a nearby cave. The old and poor woman whose name is Elara. She had been a healer and midwife for the moon shadow pack for decades, and she had been waiting for Aria. "Baby, you shouldn't have come now," Elara was worried as she was helping Aria in a makeshift bed of furs. The battle is tough, and your pack needs you now. Arias's face was bent out of shape as she was in pain, shrinking seized her. "I have to come” she puffed and panted “for the sake of my child Emily and the prophecy" Elara turned solemnly. "The prophecy of your child? Yes, I remember the great lunar power she will bring to balance our pack." But darkness and fear overshadowed the pack as the Skyline pack launched an attack over the moon shadow pack. The pack members were very scared. The battle was very tough. No one could withstand the pressure it brings Now hours pass away Arias, who was pregnant and about to labor but still refused to go out of the pack because of the prophecy about her unborn child as the savior. Elara, the old and poor woman who was with her as the midwife and the healer including Elara's younger sister whose name is Aethera. Elara coached Arias as she was pushed through the pain. “Once more push, child. Your baby is waiting” A few minutes later Emily emerged with a triumphant cry, Elara smile her eyes were full of tears “Yes we got the baby” she whispered, and with her faith” Suddenly a light comes from above the light is that of the moon sunlight from the center surrounded with stars the spirit appears unto them on the surface an agent of the lunar to confirm the prophecy “Your savior is born for you today, your protector, and the spirit will be her defender.” When the spirit passed away Elara and her younger sister Aethera were amazed to sew the celestial sign and spirits over Emily. Aria's strength was failing, but she managed a smile. "Elara protects her" she whispered her voice barely loudly. "The skyline pack will not claim our child power for themselves" Elara is determined. "I promise, and swear with my life to protect our child." As she was talking, Aria's eyes were closed, and Elara took Emily from her. The baby's tiny lungs wailed throughout the night. Aethera's eyes were full of tears of peace and joy from seeing the pack savior that was born to them. Immediately after Emily's mother's Arias ' eyes closed, Elara and Aethera took her to the god's home at the temple in the hope she might still come back to life. Elara gazes down at Emily, her heart swelling with love and purpose. She knew that this child's Destiny would be intertwined with the fate of their pack. And she was determined to protect Emily every step of the way. The cave's darkness likely pressed in around them, but Elara's spirit remained unbroken. For by this moment, she knew that the prophecy had been fulfilled, and a new era would soon begin. Elara never waited for any attacks from the skyline pack before she started searching for hidden places to keep Emily. Emily was kept in a basket by a river bank near a lake nearby so that no one could see her. Elara's eyes were full of tears as she took Emily in her hands and whispered into her heart “Your spirit will never be shifted by any wicked I promised to protect you”. And she left her there in the basket. Elara refused to take her away from the pack because the hope of the pack was on Emily's shoulder. The soul of Arias Emily's mother never goes away from Emily but to protect her from darkness and from the secret seat of the underworld that could be after her lunar power. The roar settled to a thunder. The wind settled in the west and it is settling to rain. The stars cast their golden glow over the battle landscape scarred and the moon shone its silver light over the pack. The moonlight was bright like a wink and no one could find it again. This has been Thane Blackwood's thought towards the skyline pack who dominate them with the power of darkness. She found joy as long as Emily was still alive her faith would soon come true. Despite the evil still not yet revealed to the skyline pack a savior was born to the moon shadow pack with lunar power. It was five days later. The day was bright early in the morning, the birds were singing, the butterflies were flying, the stream was cool, the weather was serene and the sun was about to set but the atmosphere sounded inconvenient to the animals on the land. Elara wasn't comfortable again so she went to the river bank to bring Emily ba ck to the caves but to her surprise, Emily was nowhere to be found.
