Chapter 27: Sabotage
[ Trinity ]
"I didn't know you were such a grease monkey."
The blonde was on her denim covered knees using a screwdriver to undo pieces of the motorcycle. "I'm not, I'm just pulled off random parts and hoping for the best."
"How much longer are you going to take, Trin."
Rubbing two colored wires together, the sleek black motorcycle roared to life. In a rush, the werewolf got on his hands resting awkwardly on the grips. "Pull black with your left hand, kick down to put in gear, break, throttle."
"How do you know all of this?"
"Google." Taking a few steps back, Trinity took a picture and sent it to Scott who was already inside to finish the first part of the plan. She picked up a black helmet with a visor to cover his eyes. "Don't crash."
"Been there, done that."
Trinity went into the school, cautiously looking over her shoulder for any onlookers who could see her holding the door open for the grey cardigan wearing teen who drove Aiden's ride into the school.
Steady sounds of the tire on linoleum flooring made her grin and follow behind from a distance. By time she made it around the corner to catch up to the beta, Aiden was standing before him his hands rested firmly on his handlebars stopping Isaac from driving any further. "Get off my bike."
"No problem."
Isaac walked away from the alpha after jumping off his shoulders for flare.
A group of students crowded the hallway to investigate the noise, laughing and taking pictures when they saw the new kid standing beside the motorcycle. "You realize this is going to result in a suspension?" Ms. Blake shouted in the hall, her brown eyes wide and crazed as she scolded the boy.
The rest of the day finished, the tingly sensation of success resting on the teens skin. "I wish I could've seen his face, was he angry?"
The trio walked down the empty hallway, Trinity walking steadily in the middle of Isaac and Scott. She was driving the beta back to McCalls house since his own bike wasn't big enough for the two of them. "He looked like that."
The blonde werewolf caught sight of the twins at the other end of hallway, their faces lifted up in anger. Pulling up his sleeves, Isaac glared back in determination.
Aiden and Ethan pulled off their shirts, carelessly tossing them away. The younger twin, Ethan, bent down and allowed his older brother to force his hand into his back. Their bodies merged, not stopping until they'd grown in size, the split down their face showing the difference between the two.
"We can take them."
Scott dropped his bags to the ground. "Are you crazy? Run."
Five of their steps were two of the alphas, it's sharp claws escaping against the werewolves neck as they were lifted off the ground and thrown to the floor. The twins went after Trinity, their hand raised back to to land an unforgiving blow to the females face but they froze.
A man walked through, a walking stick tapping against the ground with each step, his eyes covered by dark sunglasses but underneath were a pair of unseeing eyes.
Ethan and Aiden separated with a groan, standing obediently before him. "That's no way to treat a lady of her kind." Pulling the red cap off the top of the stick, an arrow tip was used to swiftly scratch each twin in one fluent motion. "You should be ashamed to yourselves."
The thin scratch healed as quickly as it was made and the newly separated teens made aisle way for him. "Trinity." He started, looking at her as if he truly could see how much older she'd gotten through the years. "It's been a while. Tell your father hello for me."
"Why don't you say it yourself?"
"Because, even I don't mess with the kind of evil your father is."
Isaac stayed quiet until the three left. "Who the hell is that?"
"Deucalion."

"I can't believe you kicked him out." Trinity scowled at Derek, her blue eyes squinted as she watched him sweep up the glass on the floor. "Do you even know where he went?"
"I didn't ask but it's best I don't know."
He swept around her feet that she lifted so he could get under the table. "Why'd you do it? You've got plenty of room here. You own the whole damn building."
"It was for his own protection. If I had half a mind, I'd do the same for you."
Trinity's shoulders tensed and Derek squeezed his eyes shut when he realized how bad the words sounded out loud. "Really? You going to throw a cup at me too?"
"Babe—"
"Don't bother breaking another dish. I'll escort myself out."
