Steph had knocked into Annika several times already while getting herself situated, apologizing profusely each time. For heaven’s sake, was she beaten regularly by her parents for not being subservient enough? It was one thing to be chivalrous, but she took it to an extreme! Hopefully once they got to the ranch, she’d transfer all her fussing to one of the horses and leave Annika alone. It was bad enough Annika had to question her judgment when it came to women.
