Drowsy from being in the sun all day, Steph almost fell asleep in the truck that Gittie’s husband was driving. Maike sat in front with Max, and Steph was sandwiched between Pia and Annika, whereas the guys had opted to ride in the truck bed. All of them, even Leo who considered this drive just one more pearl to put on his string of Texan adventures.
