The Lycan princess

Chapter 9

I have been waiting and pacing my office for the last hour and a half just waiting to see my mate. I can't help it. from the moment I seen her she looked perfect, and she's the damn princess. My mate is the princess. I have never felt so blessed. I mean I know we are a Lycan pack and that I am the Lycan alpha but I guess I never thought my mate would be the princess.

"knock, knock, knock."

"come in" I called as I sat at my desk and in walked my betta.

"I brought everyone for the meeting Alpha"

"thank you Beta Elijah" I said as everyone started to fill in my office. I noticed my mate missing and decided to wait since the meeting isn't supposed to start for another five minutes. So I spent the next few minutes getting to know everyone and their names before we all heard a knock at the door and in walked my mate and Sophia one of the omegas.

"Sophia what are you doing here? you are an Omega you do not belong here. And where did you get those clothes from? huh who did you steal from?" Why the hell was Amber yelling at her? And why the hell is Amber even in here. I know I did not invite her to this meeting. she already disrespected the Royal family once and here she is doing it again. what the hell is wrong with her.

"Ms Amber I am going to have to ask you to leave ms Sophia alone" I heard my mate say while giving Amber what can only be described as a warning look.

"I am sorry princess you won't have to deal with Sophia again she will be punished severely I will personally see to it." Does she really think that she has the power to punish any one is this pack? No one is allowed to punish anyone unless given permission by me. And I have never given her permission for that ever. Just as she said that she grabbed Sophia by the arm and slapped her across the face. You could hear gasps from all around the room as Sophia fell to the floor and I could hear someone growling at Amber. I was about to get up and handle Amber but in a flash my mate got to her and pulled her arm out of its socket. The room went quiet for a split second before Amber's screams could be heard through the entire room. I stood there shocked not expecting a princess to do that let alone I didn't think my mate would do that.

Looking at my mate she held her hand out to Sophia "princess Sophia are you alright?" wait princess... I am so confused right now.

"Yes I am ok. Thank you so much Andrea."

"Of course princess." turning she looked at Amber who was still screaming in pain. "I had warned you to leave her alone. the act for harming a royal is punishable by death" she said while glaring at her. "Alpha Luca I do apologize but since no one knows of princess Sophia's change in status I will spare her life. however I cannot promise that the next time will be the same." she said while turning back to me and said "she needs to leave. She is putting my wolf on edge and I cannot promise to hold her back next time."

I didn't need to be told twice to get Amber out of here. I didn't want her anywhere near my mate. "Guards get Amber out of here. Amber I have told you once already to stay away from me. This is now the second time, it is also the second time that you have disrespected the royals. I would not make it a third because next time it could very well be your life" and he gestured for the guards to take her out of the office.

We all looked as my mate helped Sophia to sit in a chair. "I am sorry about the act of aggression and violence Alpha Luca. I do not mean to disrespect you. However it is law that once a werewolf is mated to a royal it makes them a royal (prince or princess) as well. As of today Sophia is no longer an Omega for the pack, but she is Princess Sophia a royal and a warrior in training." she said while looking me in the eyes. I know the rules so I just simply nodded to let her know that I understood.

"There is something I would like to discuss before we get into the training schedule and other things first princess Andrea." I said while looking at her.

"I am very well aware of what it is you want to discuss Alpha Luca. However I am not sure if that is a good thing to do right now. But seeing as it is of high importance we will discuss it further." I was more than happy with her response. Even if its not everyone I was happy that some people will know who she is to me.

"Seeing as we are indeed mates how will we go about this?" I asked her making everyone in the room gasp in shock as they all looked from her to me. The only ones that did not seem to be shocked were her family.

"I am going to be honest with you Alpha Luca. You are my second chance mate." Okay wait what did she say... I am her second chance mate? how is that possible. It seemed like not everyone knew this either. "You see my identity has not always been known to others. I had to leave my kingdom when I was a child and I was only able to return once I met my mate. And I did. The day I turned sixteen. No one knew who I was and since I was treated as an outcast he rejected me. So you see, if I am to accept you as my mate and the future king to rule by my side I need to know you won't ever betray me. I cannot say that you will betray me seeing as I don't really know you yet. But I hope that you are as true as my parents say that you are" She said to me while giving me a cute smile. I still couldn't completely wrap my head around what she told me. I mean I knew about the rogue attack but not everything else.

I got off my chair and walked over to her "Will you give me a chance to prove if I am a good mate or not?" I asked her.

"Yes I will give you a chance Alpha Luca." I couldn't help but smile when she responded to me and feeling happy I just went right back to my chair. "Lets get started everyone." and we began going over the plans for training for my pack. By the time we were done it was dinner time. Andrea asked me to announce to the pack of Sophias status change. she had also requested that her and her parents be moved to an empty room on the floor that we are staying on and I agreed as well.

I had decided to announce to everyone at the dinner table that I had found my mate but I didn't say who she was since it didn't seem like she was ready for anyone to know who she is. I also noticed people complaining when the new training schedule was announced. I would have to do something about that. Once the dinner was over everyone went to their rooms. I had a hard time sleeping knowing my mate is just down the hall from me. I don't know what time I fell asleep and before I knew it my alarm was waking me up.

I came down for breakfast and noticed how it got quiet once I walked in. I took my seat and breakfast started being served.

"Talia who made this?I don't remember this being on the menu for today." I noticed she glanced over at someone like she was scared to say anything.

"Appologies Alpha I am afraid that it was my doing. I was up early and decided to cook breakfast for everyone." god can her voice sound anymore like an angle?

"Really Drea? Is that why you weren't in your room this morning when we went there and you were coming from the kitchen when we were all already here?" Bryan the hot headed prince said while looking at his sister.

"Oh, come on Bry you know I love to cook" I heard her say so nonchalantly as if this was a common thing for her. She looks over at me probably thinking that I was mad when truth was I was far from it. I didn't say anything and instead I just started to eat. I couldn't help but think about her and how perfect she is. I mean she cooked breakfast for everyone. I wonder what time she woke up at.

I noticed she didn't eat much just a muffin and some bacon with juice. I wonder if she is feeling okay? I watched her as she walked out of the dinning hall and people bowed their heads as a sign of respect to her and she nodded back. She must be taking her dishes to the kitchen to wash.

Once were finished eating everyone started to head out to the training area and I notice the princess had been working out. Hmm she might be a little tired during training. I usually work out extra when im stressed or have things on my mind. It was eight-thirty when everyone started to show up for training. I decided to over see the training for today. I watched her as she started training and I was beyond disappointed in my warriors who were falling behind and complaining. I had seen the princess run back out on the field with an Omega who was running behind and when my warriors started to talk back about how the Omega was weak pissed off my princess. I never treat my pack as if they are weak regardless of their rank and I thought it took this kid courage to want to join the warriors and training. I continued to watch the rest of the training making notes for improvements starting with making a training schedule for everyone in the pack even the omegas. That also reminded me that Amber won't be on dinner duty because of her arm so once she is healed she will be on dinner duty.

Andrea's POV

I was walking around helping everyone with their fighting techniques while my Elite warriors took the lead with training.

"Okay everyone grab some water and meet right back here in five minutes."

"Matt, Sam, Bryan, and the rest of you help me set up everything for the ring please."

The ring is where we fight and challenge others and learn how to fight.

"Alright everyone many of you are wondering what is going on behind me. First even if its the first day I won't make it easy, no day of training will ever be easy. Second welcome to the ring." I gestured behind me with a smirk on my face, just as it was being finished.

"THIS is where we fight it out, THIS is where we settle scores, THIS is where we learn to improve. The rules for fighting in the ring are no killing, no cheating, no weapons, and no changing into your wolves until and unless you get the okay to, and even in wolf from there is no killing. Killing is only allowed if it is stated before the fight and if it is accepted by the other challenger. Any position can be challenged but I must advise you all right now DO NOT make or accept a challenge you cannot win."

Looking to my Elite's I nodded my head.

"Okay so who wants to go first?"

Absolute silence as I looked around waiting. Im not going to lie I was a bit disappointed that no one said anything.

"Okay no one? Bryan in the ring"

"Okay who am I challenging?" my little brother asked.

"You are fighting Matt" I said while gesturing for Matt to get in the ring with Bryan. I could tell by the look on Bry's face that he didn't want to fight Matt, but he didn't have a choice. I was still pissed at him for trying to reject Sophia and he knows there is no use in trying to argue with me about it. I watched as Matt and Bry stepped into the ring as they started to get ready while they waited for me and I stepped in as well.

I always step into the ring when there is a fight so I can always give my input and stop the fights if they ever go too far and the only time I am not in the ring is when there is a challenge to the death. Those challenges can be wild and they don't really hold any rules except no weapons. I looked at both of the guys and gestured for them both to come forward and show respect to each other before I start the fight.

"Okay in this fight I will be calling out what can be improved on, what to watch for, and how to handle your opponent when in the ring or on the battle field, so please pay close attention because you will all get a turn at least once while I am here. The ring is to make you a better fighter and to learn from your opponent so let this fight begin." I called out and nodded to the guys to start the fight. I watched as Matt made the first punch and Bry dodged it just in time while landing an upper cut on Matt who quickly shook it off.

"Matt do not let down your guard."

Matt landed a hard kick to Bryans ribs.

"Do not get too confident Bry."

I kept calling out suggestions as we all watched the fight and when they were finished I let them go and get some rest. I started picking out random people in the crowd to bring into the ring because I wanted people to learn but I really wanted to see where they were all at and what I can do to improve them. I made a mental note of everything and after a few more people in the ring I decided to let training continue with my elite's leading them while I watched and gave my input. I couldn't help but steel a few glances at Alpha Luca who also caught me a few times and I also seen him steeling glances at me on more than one occasion. Oh great this is going to be harder then I thought it would be. My mind kept drifting off to him and planning our future.

"That is because he is our mate. He is meant for us. please let me meet our mate." My wolf Ava was whining in the back of my head. I could feel her trying to gain control and I had to fight her for it. I couldn't let her out right now. I wasn't ready for Luca's pack to know and honestly I wasn't ready for my parents to know. All I wanted was to focus on running the kingdom but now having just met my mate gave me one more thing to focus on.
