Chapter 12

Luca's POV

The king (like me) could barely fit through the door frame and I would have thought it was funny if he wasn't looking at me like he wanted to kill me. I mean, sure he's always treated me like family and he's always been like an uncle to me, but he gets real scary when he's angry and right now, he's angry at me. In he walked, followed by his son and the twin cousins along with my, beta. Once everyone was in the room my Beta closed the door and everyone grabbed a chair or sat on the couch.

I filled everyone in on what the doctor said and by the time I was finished the door to the hospital swung opened and in walked the queen and we all stood and bowed to her and she nodded her head back to us. If there is anyone that I do not want to piss off, it is her. If I thought the king was scary, the queen is just as scary if not worse than the king. Once the king had told the queen everything that I had told them about what the doctor had told me the queen just laughed.

"Oh honey. Don't you remember when this used to happen to me? It has been many years since this last happened to me but I remember it still as if it was yesterday."

"Oh my goodness that's right. I should have thought of that, but it has been so many years that I didn' even think of it as a factor in this situation." The king said to his mate

"Yes and my guess is that it is now happening to her since she has met and accepted her real mate."

Words were coming out of her mouth but none of it made any sense to me. This has happened before to the queen? But why? "Im sorry my Queen but..." I paused for a second. "Why is this happening to my mate? and this has happened before? Im sorry but I don't understand."

"Yes dear I will explain it to you. So this has happened to me before in the past on a handful of occassions. It first started when I met the king here, my mate. Her soul is in another realm right now but her body remains here." What the hell. Her SOUL is in another real. We have other realms other than the one we live in? "So what I am saying is that right now she is visiting the moon goddess." I know the look on my face shows complete shock and when I looked over to my beta and bestfriend Elijah and he had the same look on his face as me. "She will wake up soon. Mother goddess will not keep her too long. She will watch over her and keep her safe."

"So what you are saying is that this is normal, and she will wake up soon?"

"Yes that is exactly what I am saying."

I nodded my head to let her know that I understood although my head was still spinning from trying to process all the information. However, I was just glad knowing that she is going to be alright, now, if she would only just wake up.

As if the moon goddess heard my please she opened her eyes and I just felt complete relief and joy at her waking up. I was so over joyed that I couldn't stop myself from pulling her into my arms. Inhailing her scent just to calm me down. For a moment, I didn't care that there were other people in the room with us. I just wanted to hold her if only for a moment.

"Ahem..."

I hear someone clearing their throat. Reluctantly, I pulled away from Andrea and sat back down knowing that we all had some things that we needed to talk about.

Andrea's POV

looking at everyone looking back at me and looking at my mom I could tell that she already knew what had happened by the smile and knowing look that she had on her face. I then told them exactly what had happened and what the moon goddess had told me but I paused before continuing to tell them that she told me that we needed to mate and that Tommy wasn't my real mate and that is why it didn't hurt the way it should have when he rejected me and i accepted. The doctor came in a little after I was done talking to everyone, to check in on me and to make sure that everything was fine and then got my discharge papers for me to sign.

After leaving the pack hospital I found myself in my mates room with him. It was kind of awkward as I stood across from him knowing the conversation we were about to have. I wasnt sure how to start that conversation though and I have never been with anyone before so to say that I was feeling nervous was an understatement. I moved from standing in front of the door to sit at the edge of his bed with my hands in my lap, and he came over to sit next to me. We just sat there in awkward silence for a few minutes until I decided to break the silence with a small cough to clear my dry throat.

"So... I have never been with anyone before and Im not exactly sure what to do or expect." I informed him turning my head to look at him when he didn't say anything and I found him staring at me in complete shock with his mouth hanging open. Nervous, I turned my head away and kept talking just wanting to get the awkward part over, I have no experience and im sure he does."I was just never interested in anyone before and I've never had the time either since I was always busy with training, my duty to the kingdom, and other things." No clue why I was explaining this to him he is an Alpha and that too of one of the strongest packs.

"I am honored that I get to be your first and last. I am sorry that I didn't wait for you but when I turned sixteen and didn't find my mate I waited a few more years till I was nineteen and even visited other packs but never found her.. well you. So I gave up and stopped going to other packs because I felt it wasn't doing me any good but making me angry. I should have waited for you but I never kept anyone around and I always made it clear to anyone that it was just s** and nothing more."

I found it sweet that he was actually apologizing to me, although he really didn't need to. "You don't need to apologize to me. we are a few years apart and I was thirteen when you were sixteen. We only just met each other because I had to come here."

"Well I am glad that despite my protest, you did come." So I wasn't the only one who didn't want to be here at first.

"Yeah I was the same with my dad before coming here. But I'm glad I did." I didn't want him to feel bad for not wanting me here when I was hesitent on coming as well. It seemed like we both were trying to put our duties first which I can respect, all that matters is that we are here.

"so is this... erm... when are we "doing" it? I asked him motioning my hand between us and using air quotes like im freaking fifteen years old, but I felt more comfortable doing that then actually saying the word out loud.

"girl you are so lame you know you want to jump his bones so why are you being such a chicken about it?" my wolf ava said to me, because I didn't have enough to worry about and now shes rubbing it in.

"okay well i might be a lycan but I get nervous like anyone else who has their first time so give me a break." I tell her while rolling my eyes at her

"Yeah a break is exactly what you need. This is it so take it. And besides, no one can say anything because mother moon goddess wishes this. not only that but you are mates so no. no one can say sh**"

"Okay ava I get it alright? maybe in a few days ill be ready. we need to have a mating ceremony any ways so we need to start planning it. Plus I know mom and dad would want us to have one." All I got in response was Ava nodding her head at me.

"Sorry I was talking to my Lycan. I was thinking maybe we should have a mating ceremony and complete the mating process at the same time?"

"Yeah that sounds good to me. How does a week from now sound?"

"A week sounds good. It should be more then enough time to get everything together with everyone helping out. We should probably let our parents know though."

"Yeah they are gonna be so excited. Oh my g*d my mom is gonna go crazy with planning. Im warning you in advance she's going to want to take this whole planning thing into her hands."

"Thats fine. knowing my mom she's gonna want to do the same. Maybe they can get together and plan it for us" I told him and we both started to laugh at the thought of both of our moms planning the wedding together without asking for our help.

We sat on his bed just talking trying to figure out how we wanted to tell everyone and how we were going to rule since now we have to mate much faster then either of us were planning to. Since we were also going to be here training his pack for a while longer he decided to hold off on transferring the pack over to one of his siblings. My uncle is also back at the kingdom training our warriors and elites so that is one thing that I don't have to worry about. I could always trust my uncle to take on anything I need him to.

A couple hours later we were all in my mates office sitting down discussing all the details for the mating ceremony that our parents also want to be a wedding for official things. We sat in his office for hours and hours discussing every little detail and the guest list. We would have to go back to our kingdom to have the wedding so that meant most of his pack wont be able to attend, so we decided that we would come back here a day or so after the wedding and mating ceremony to spend here as kind of like a honey moon but to also finish the training of his pack and celebrate our union with his pack as well.

The meeting lasted hours so we ate in the office and by the time it was over it was so late that we all started to head to bed. Luca walked me to my room in silence, but it was comfortable and nice and I really enjoyed his company. When we reached my door he kissed me on the forehead and told me goodnight. I went trhough my normal bedtime routine in a daze, and for the first time in a long time I fell asleep without a problem by nine o'clock.

My alarm went off at the usual time at 4:55am so I rolled out of bed, put on my leggings, sports bra and a thin jacket so I dont get too hot on my run as well as my socks and running sneakers. I grabbed my headphones made sure it was connected to my bluetooth on my phone and I played my running playlist. I walked down the stair case and to the front down to the training field. I spent the next five minutes stretching my thighs, hamstrings, and calves. I spent the next hour zoned in, running the track around the training field. Once I was done running I spent ten minutes stretching before I headded back to the pack house. I climbed the stairs two at a time ignoring the dull ache in my legs till I got to my room. I still had my headphones in with my music blasting as loud as it would go. Walking accross the room to my bathroom I turned on my shower, stripped out of my running clothes and got in.

I stood under the water for a few minutes letting the hot water run over every part of my body till I felt ever muscle relax. Once I was relaxed I washed my hair with my favorite coconut shampoo and conditioner and used my cucumber body wash to scrub all the sweat and dirt from my body. I brushed my teeth as the conditioner sat in my hair and even used my hydrating deep cleaning face wash till it was time to wash my hair. Once I felt clean nough I turned off the water and stepped out on my soft bath rug and pulled my white fluffy towel around my body to dry off. With my towel wrapped around mybody I pluged in my blow dryer and put in my heat protectant hair oil that also smelled like coconut, and grabbed my brush to start blowdrying my hair.

Feeling satisfied that my hair was completly dry and friz free but always looks straightend after I blowdry I stepped into my room still in my towel only to find my mate standing next to my bed. I jumped back a little startled that he was here but also because I was in nothing but my bath towel wrapped around my body and it barely came down to the middle of my thighs so if I were to bend over even just a little bit he would see EVERYTHING.

Gripping my towel closer to my body "Alpha Luca I wasnt expecting you. Im a little bit indecent at the moment Had I known you would be here I would have came out more... decent" He laughed, such a deep sexy laugh. Oh sh**I cant let my mind wonder there espicaly while im pretty much naked and hes in the same room as me.

"Sorry I didnt mean to scare you, I knocked but you didnt answer so I came in to make sure you were okay. I noticed you went for a run and came here to see if you wanted to walk down to breakfast together. I didnt know you were in the shower."

"Oh. Yeah id like to go to breakfast together. Im just going to change in the walk in closet and ill be right out." I said awkwardly as I walked fast into the walk in closet and closed the door behind me. I knew we still had training after breakfast so I changed into a sports bra, tanktop, and my workout leggings and a fresh pair of socks. I quickly threw my hair up in a high ponytail and walked out of the closet to find him sitting on the edge of my bed waiting. He stood up while I walked over to him and he held out his hand for me, I took his hand and felt my cheeks heat up as he led me out my room. Walking down the stairs I kept stealing glances at him and I noticed he was in workout cloths, a fitted tank top some shorts and running shoes. Well today is going to be fun.

He led me into the dinning area where we noticed everyone was already seated and already eating. Well I guess its good after the last traing day we had and every one was late. However now they are all stairing at me and Luca. Then it dawned on me. He was still holding my hand. I was about to pull my hand back but he kept walking to our seats and pulled me along gently. Well I guess now is a good of time as any to let everyone know that we are mates. He pulled the chair out next to him so I took it knowing that this eat was meant for the future luna of the pack, and this time people started to wisper, which didnt bother me, it was bound to happen anyway once he made it official.

I noticed that my favorite was made, the same thing I made for breakfast the other day. White chocolate chip pancakes, bacon and eggs. Once we were both seated I noticed everyone were eating again and felt a heated gaze on me. I looked towards the back and found Amber glaring at me, still pissed at me breaking her arm, not being fazed I started to eat but I only ate half of my breakfast because I didnt want to be full for today's training. I planned to be harder today then I was yesterday. I asked the cook Talia who helped me yesterday to wrap up the rest of my breakfast since I planned to eat it after training. I also planned to make my famous chocolate chip cookies and peanut butter cookies and brownies to take it to the orphanage that is here on the pack grounds. Which reminds me I have to take out some butter before I start training so it is room temperature when I need it. I saw the cook Talia, so I asked her to put the butter on the side for me to use later.

I loved kids and one day ill have kids when im ready since I also have to carry on my blood line and have an heir to the kingdom. I walked down to the training field with the alpha and we discussed the training for the day and he agreed that yesterday's training didnt go as either of us had planned so we were going to show everyone exactly how to do it and not to complain about it either. This was training and we were here to help everyone to get better and be able to protect the pack and other packs that they have agreed contracts with.
