Chapter 13

Once everyone was on the field Luca called everyone in front of us. We waited for the last ones to gather around before we informed them of the day they were bout to have.

"Alright everyonee listen up. Yesterday didnt go they way it should have but today is going to go much better. Now I really dont care to hear about the complaining from anyone so either keep it to your self and wait till after we are done or dont and get pushed even harder." I paused and let that sink in because I still intended on pushing them harder because of yesterday. "Yesterday was nothing compared to whayt today is going to be like. So with that being said I want 4 laps around the field. Sophia youre with me."

I walked over to the track and Sophia was right behind me, once we got on the track I started out at a light jog to make sure she was keeping up with me and once I was sure she was used to jogging at that pace wich was still infront of everyone else and Alpha Luca was jogging with us, I decided to pick up the pace after the second lap and decided to push Sophia and myself to finish strong with Luca right by our side.

"Sophia lets get some water before we continue training."

"Okay" she said in that shy but breathless voice of hers.

"So... Sophia has my brother pulled his head out of his a**?" I asked making both of us laugh so hard our sides started to hurt.

"Yes and no. Its like hes fighting himself.. or his lycan. His Lycan wants me but im not sure why he doesnt" she said sounding sad with her head hanging a little. I could hear the tears in her voice and watched as she fought to fight back her tears. My brother is really an a**. Im not going to lose Sophia because he cant get over himself.

"If im being honest I dont think he was ready to meet you. It has nothing to do with you but I dont think he was or is ready to grow up yet. I mean he wants to be with you but before I came back home the responsibility of being in line for the throne was all on him. He didnt get a chance to be.... anything that wasnt royal. It was a lot of pressure. Ive been preparing my whole life and im okay with that, but He didnt want the throne. Now hes been carefree for a couple of years and he wanted to find you in a few more years, but fate brought us here" I said looking at her staring back at me "to our mates. It is the way of our mother moon godess and it is a truly amazing thing. Just hang in there a little longer, he'll come around trust me" She nooded her head staying silent not knowing what to say to that. It was the first time I told anyone about my brother because everyone at the castle knows our story but no one outside does.

Standing up I looked at Sophia "Meet me over in the center once everyone is finished with their laps." I called to her as I walked away to the center of the field. Once I got to the center I started working out some frustration on a punching bag. I kept thinking of how quick things were moving, in one week ill be mated, marked and married. It doesnt seem fast considering people mate and mark their mates once they meet but it was fast for me. It's a good thing that our mom's are planning everything. Both of our parents went back to the kingdom to set up for Saturday and make sure everything was the way they wanted it to be. I had to leave in a few days for my dress fitting and I wont be coming back here till after the wedding.

I was done working out my frustration before everyone was done with running their four laps and started to gather around. My elites had everything set up before everyone showed up and Luca had helped them which I thought was nice of him.

"Okay everyone pair up please" I called out while my hands were folded behind my back. "Today we are working on the same things as the other day, stance, perfecting your punches, kicks, and being able to take it as well. Same rules apply the ring is always open and the rules will always be stated before every fight so make sure your oponent is someone you can actually fight."

I watched as everyone paired up and I had my cousin Samantha Pair up with Sophia so I could give Sophia some pointers so she can learn to protect herself. I heard my brother growl pushing on the mind link while I was pairing them up, ignoring him because if he cant accept her then he cant say anything when it comes to her.

"Okay Sophia hold your hands closer together while you are blocking your face, keep your fist infront and never tuck your thumbs in your hand or you can and will break it, keep your legs shoulder width apart one leg slightly behind you which will be your dominant leg and for your hand your ominant one goes just below the other."

"Like this?"

"Yupp just like that. Never take your eyes off the person you are fighting but always be aware of your sourroundings when fighting. Okay I am going to let Samantha here teach you some moves and show you the basics today on how to block, throw punches, kicks, and how to tell read your oponents next moves because that will give you the upper hand if you can read the way that they fight." I nooded to her encouraging her. "Sam dont go easy on her because we need her to learn" I jerked my head to Sophia "but dont break her, Bry will never forgive either of us if he even sees a single scratch on her"

"Dont worry Drea I know Bry will lose his head... hmmm... maybe thats what we need for him to pull his head out of his a**"

"hahaha maybe but dont do it. Last thing I need is for him to lose his sh** while were here" I told her as I walked away to observe everyone else fighting. I give my advice to some people and watched ohers as they sparred. I noticed my elite warriors taking control and running the training very well. However I planned to take them back home with me for the wedding and have the ones my father had sent here to stay while were gone.

I noticed Nalu really trying and no matter how many times he got knocked down he kept getting back up. He reminded me of me when I used to get bullied in school and I couldt really do anything but get back up. Hmmm I have an idea.

"Hey Ava, do you think we could heal him a little and give him the extra boost?"

"Im not sure Drea. I mean if its a good idea or not. We are in an open space do you think you could do it without anyone letting on?" She asked me. I mean she was right, as long as no one was watching and as long as I didnt use my opwers too fast or too much of it im sure I could do it.

"I can do it Ava. It will just be a tiny bit not much to be too noticable but enough for him to be able to fight better."

"Okay Drea go for it"

"Hey Jonathan I'll take over for a little can you check on everyone else for me please?"

"Yeah no problem princess."

I rolled my eyes, gosh I hate it when people call me princess. "Okay Nalu I am going to show you a few moves that will help prevent someone from knocking you down all the time okay?"

"okay princess." He said in a confident but eager voice.

"So, you can tell when someone is going to knock you down, you just have to really be paying attention and try to knock them down first or knock them unconscious. I will show you both but we are only going to be using the one to knock me down instead, so get in your stance." I watched him as he got into his fighting stance which wasnt bad "Good stance ok now try to punch me" He looke at me like I was crazy. "Ill be able to block it" He hesatated before he threw the punch which I avoided easily "Dont hesitate, that can cost you your life, and try to put more power behind it. Try again. Okay much better, there is some power in your punch, however the reason you are being knocked down all the time is two things. One you arent fast enough, so you need to work on your speed. Second You need to block better, keep your hands close together like this" I said graabbing his wrists and moving them closer together while at the same time healing his body just a little bit making sure there was no light. I quickly moved my hands away before anyone could tell what I was doing and before Nalu could fell any different. I mean he will but he wont feel it right now so thats was a good thing for me, and it was only for a second.

"Okay so Im going to leave myself wide open and you are going to come in like this" I said while going under his arm to show him how to take me down. 'think you can manage that? Okay lets give it a try" I went to punch him normaly and left myself wide open and he ducked my punch and came up while grabbing me and knocking me on my back. I knew what to expect but the impact of my back hitting the ground still knocked the wind out of me. I laid there for a second catching my breath, I held a finger up to Nalu motioning for him to give me a second while he looked a little scared from knocking me down. I held my hand out for him to help me up and he did.

"Okay good, that was good. You had a little more power in that then I expected, which brings me to my next point, dont expect nothing less from a fight because the other person might be stronger than you anticipate." I nooded to Jonathan to take over again and I kept walking around checking on everyone all the while steeling glances at my mate.

Lucas POV same day

Running with my mate I must admit she really does have stamina, Sophia.. Princess Sophia kept her own but she did slow down a few times which in turn Andrea slowed down to match her pace and I slowed down to match her's. After the run I helped her Elites set up for the training while I also watched my warriors run. They did hold their own but the only problem is they complained a lot and it bothered me. I watched her as she worked out im assuming some frustration on a punching bag, and she was pretty good at it, honestly it looked like she was starting to put a whole in the bag.

I watched as she stopped and waitied for everyone to gather around and had everyone pair up. I paired up with my betta and I needed to release some stress myself since our wedding is in a week. Im pretty excited to get married and spend the rest of my life with her. Nervous though since I know Im going to be stepping in as king eventualy and I know nothing about being king, but I imagine it was simillar to being Alpha to a pack... a much bigger pack.

I kept getting distracted watching my mate as she kept helping others and I nearly lost it when the kid Nalu knocked her down. It distracted me so much Elijah was able to land a punch to my jaw that brought me back to our fight and away from Andrea.

"Hey man pay attention, I never land a punch on you that easy. Whats got your head so distracted?" He asked, clearly oblivious to the fact that my mate got knocked down. I mean I know shes teaching him and all that but it doesnt mean that I liked anyone touching her. Gosh I was becoming such a possessive territorial mate. I have no clue how I am going to keep myself in check and not become protective of her. I mean she is next in line to be queen. She IS the kings daughter and Ive heard stories about other Alpha's talking about her beauty and their want for her to be their luna and next in line for the throne all for their selfish reasons and greed.

"Okay jerk, clearly I am paying attention to my mate and not you." I told him while refocusing my thoughts and attention to him and our fight. I think we were sparing long enough and I was ready to end it so I can spend more time with my mate. I threw a left hook and knowing what he was going to do he ducked so I came in with my right hand from under and got him right in his jaw throwing him off balance and on to his butt. I couldnt stop laughing at the sight of him on his a** rubbing his jaw at the same time holding his a**. I held my hand out to help him up while I was still laughing, he took my hand standing up.

"Thanks for that a** hole. You know i'd like to keep my teeth and my fine a** right?"

"hahahaha dude you keep making me laugh man. Besides you already found your mate and I doubt she will leave you any way." Me and him walked over to the table to get a drink and check on our men and their fighting to see what we can improve. I have a pretty good idea of the kingdoms fighting style since I attended their training at eighteen, I have been using their training style ever since, but it seems like it has changed quite a bit and had also included many different fighting styles. I watched as my mate continued to walk around and help others while I did the same. Tonight I wanted to officially announce to the pack that we are mates.

Once training was done it was similar as yesterday but without complaining, so that was a good thing. I seen Drea walking towards the pack house so I ran to catch up to her. I figured now was a good time as any to talk to her about tonight.

"Hey Drea, I was wondering can we talk in my office?" I tried to sound confident about asking her and my voice did not fail me.

"Yeah sure. How does an hour from now sound?"

"An hour sounds good. Ill see you then." Well that went better than I expected. Now to shower and have something quick to eat before I meet her again.

I walked to my room smiling taking long strides climbing the stairs. Once I reached my room I turned the shower on cold, im gonna need it before I have to meet with Drea. I mind linked one of the cooks to bring a sandwich to my office once I was done so I can eat something before Drea got there. Jumping in the shower I let the cold water run down my body relaxing my muscles from today and trying to calm my body down from the thoughts of Drea from today. Once I was sure I wasn't going to be walking around with a hard* on I got out the shower drying off wrapping the towel around my waist and grabbing another one to dry off my light brown hair. I picked out my usual black pants and whit t-shirt that I always wear when im not in workout clothes. I also have suits that I usually wear as well.

Walking out of my room I had at least twenty minutes till I would be meeting with Andrea. Pushing open my office doors sure enough there was my favorite pastrami sandwich waiting for me a long with my favorite soda MTN Dew. This was going to be a good lunch for me. I finished my lunch with enough time for me to walk over to my sink and brush my teeth with the spare tooth brush that I keep in my bottom drawer along with any other necessities like an extra pair of clothes deodorant, mouth wash, a comb and some power bars. By the time I was done brushing my teeth I had Five minutes left before she would be here. I was just excited to be around my mate again.

I spent the next five minutes try to go over pack stuff but my mind kept drifting to her. Planning our future, our kids, our entire life together....

"Knock, knock, knock"

"Come in" I called out knowing it was her on the other side of the door. I could smell her scent of hot chocolate and strawberries. I watched as she opened the door and stepped in while closing the door behind her I was going to gesture for her to take the other seat across from me on the other side of my desk but it felt weird so instead I gestured to the seat I had right next to me. I could see the skepticism in her eyes and she looked at the chair besides me but didn't say anything as she walked over and took the seat right next to me which made me and my wolf really happy.
