The special one

There was a time in my life I would have said that life was perfect. But that all changed the day that I lost my entire family. Well, let me back up a little bit so you can catch up. A few days before I lost everything was my birthday I had officially become 18 years old and would be able to visit other packs to find my mate. I went to school like I usually would of and it was moderately okay. I had a few people tell me a Happy Birthday. I went home and had a big party to celebrate. And it was the best party ever until I got food poisoning. I stayed in the bed for days because it was the worst case of food poisoning ever. My family and I were supposed to go out to celebrate my birthday over the weekend but since I got sick I could not go. So I told them to go ahead and go without me. And on their way back a drunk driver hit them head-on and killed them all on impact. The crash was so bad that the car was unrecognizable and so was the other vehicle. The only way that they could identify who they were was by the license plate on the back of the car. I was dead asleep and I was jolted awake by someone banging on the door. It was the police coming to tell me that my whole family had died. I felt like my heart crumbled into a thousand little pieces and I just screamed out in pain of losing my family. Being the Alpha’s daughter I had to tell everyone the heartbreaking news. But according to law, a woman is not fit to rule as Alpha. So, the elders all had a meeting and came to a decision that was something that I thought would never happen to me in my entire life.
