Chapter 8: Exploring the City.

"To further our friendship, We thought that it would be nice if we can spend our time together exploring around the city. Everyone agree?"

Eis said while looking very serious. She's already talk about this with Sylvie and July. And both of them agree to explore the city with Dream and Lily.

"Sure. I actually never explore the city. How about you Dream?"

Lily agreed to go with Eis and others. She then turned to Dream to ask him. Dream think about it a little bit and come to conclusion immediately.

"Okay. I'll come too. I have explore the city before but, I don't know most of the thing here yet."

"It's decided! Saturday, We will meet in here at 7 o'clock! Make sure to come and don't late!"

Eis said excitedly. Her calm voice is turning to more excited voice after hearing that answer.

"Hm... What clothes should I use?"

Lily is foraging her closet to find the perfect clothes to wear.

"Dream is there too. I need to find a cute clothes!"

In her eyes, There are a fire that burning. She wanted to look cute in front of Dream.

"Uu... That one is too bright! This one is weird. Why do I have that one? Guu..."

She's confused by the amount of clothes she have.

"Should I just wear this one? It bring back memories."

Lily pick the clothes that she wear when Dream and her fight with each other.

Meanwhile Dream when picking his clothes.

"Let's wear this. If I want to do something fun, I can just do it without changing my clothes."

It's the same clothes he wear when fighting in the tournament. It's really simple. Just a loose shirt along with a loose pants.

Finally, It's Saturday. Dream wake up at 6 o'clock and prepare himself. It took him 30 minutes total to prepare. Then he went to the Student Council room. He open the door and see no one.

"Yup, I'm too early. Let's just wait here."

Dream take a book from the shelf and started reading. Time flies by really quick when he reading. It's feels like he just started. And then, Eis comes in to the room.

"Good morning Dream! Are you ready?"

"President? I'm ready. You're really excited today..."

Dream said while looking at her. He stand up and place the book back at the shelf.

"Is everyone here yet?"

Eis ask Dream. She look at the clock on the room and see the time is 6.50 AM.

"I don't think so. I'm the only one here. I haven't seen Lily or the other yet."

"Well then, Let's wait 10 more minutes. If they still haven't come, We're going to call them ourselves!"

Dream and Eis waited in the room for 10 more minutes. Lily, Sylvie and July finally came.

"Sorry for the wait! Let's go!"

July said excitedly. They finally started walking outside the school. Eis on the very front and Dream on the very back.

The girls is talking to each other excitedly. Dream as the only guys feels really awkward.

So when walking, Dream only talk to Yoga.

'Master, why I can't go out?'

"Because I don't want to make things awkward. So Just be a good girl okay?"

'Guuu... Aye master...'

Dream felt sorry for Yoga because she can't get out. Right now, Dream is going out with his senior and friend. So he wanted to be closer to them. But He doesn't know how. When he wanted to talk to them, He suddenly felt that he doesn't want to interrupt their conversation.

'Master! There's someone observing us!'

"Where are they?"

'They are behind us! From what I feel, There's 10 people!'

Dream thought to himself. 'What should I do? I don't want to go by myself. I might lose them if I go now.'

Dream look at the girls movement. He notice that their movement started to become slower. They also seem to be more focus. Like they were searching something.

"President, They're behind us."

Lily noticed their location because Gava tell her. So She decided to told the rest of the group about it.

"Dream, Can you take care of it? We're going to wait for you here."

"! Alright. It's the perfect time."

Eis blow away Dream worries. She told him to go and take care of the people. Lily look kinda mad. 'I want to go too...' is written all over her face

Dream immediately vanished using his silent steps. He appear behind the group of man on the alleyway.

"Good Day. What Can I help you?"

Dream said with a smile on his face.

"You! How are you here?!"

They started to panicked and grab their weapon.

"Oh Scary~ Can you tell me why do you follow us? It's still morning..."

Dream face change from smiling into cold. He stared at the 10 people sharply. Even the stare from him make them feel like they were getting stabbed.

"You better answer carefully. If I don't like your answer, Your soul will go to the after life."

Dream threatened them to answer truthfully. He's ready to snap their neck. They got scared. Their heart feels like getting crushed by Dream.

They all fell silence. They're too scared to answer.

"Well, Now you guys just wasting my time"

Dream appear behind them. He snap one of the man neck. He cut the only way out by standing there.

"Halberd of Ira!"

A cold voice is calling the Halberd of Ira. Dream grasp the Halberd of Ira firmly. Dream thrust the Halberd accurately to their vitals. In just 1 second. 9 People is died. Their heart is crushed by the Halberd.

"Well, My job is done now. It's boring fighting with people like you guys."

Dream called off the Halberd back to his body. As he walk off, The bodies falls down and blood is pouring out from the hole where their heart supposed to be.

Dream walk toward the group.

"Good work. Is everything done?"

"Yes President. I take care of it. Sadly, I can't get any clue from them."

"It's alright. Now, Let's go back to exploring!"

Dream and the others go back to their way.

The first stop is a restaurant called 'Blue Moon' They went inside and sat down at a big table.

The waiter comes in and started taking their order.

"For me, I want Fish and Chips and Tea."

Dream ordered. Everyone ordered their food and wait for the food to come.

"So, How does your weeks go Dream?"

Eis ask Dream. She Tried to interact with Dream because Dream is the only one who haven't talk to much.

"Well, It pretty good. I always looking for someone to train with. Julius is strong but, I want to fight more people."

"Have you fight with Lily yet?"

Eis looked at Lily as she say that.

"Ah well, We kinda don't want to fight each other. We might destroy something you know?"

Dream said awkwardly. After he said that, Eis finally caught up what he mean.

"Oh yeah, If you go all out, Yoga and Gava might destroy the whole Academy."

"Exactly. And We don't want that. So we only fight alongside each other. Not against each other."

"Now that you tell me that. How exactly both of you meet? I never hear that."

Dream and Lily look at each other. 'Should we told the detail?'. They giving that kind of look toward each other.

"Please!"

Eis really wanted to know the story. Dream and Lily never tell each other how they really meet. It's not really that exciting.

"So, We meet at the Tournament in Artine. I actually captivated by her sword technique. Then I see a man with a blowpipe trying to take her out. So I dashed toward her and Throw my spear to the man. Then we fight with our hand."

Eis nodded.

"Then, Who's the victor?"

"It's a draw. Then somehow, We ended up as a teammate in a 2 vs 2. That's actually how we met up. It's not that exciting. We part ways after the tournament over."

"Yeah, I'm actually kinda sad when we part our ways. It's a brief moment but, We enjoy fighting along side each other."

Lily said. Hearing that Eis and the other immediately cover their giggling mouth.

"Here you go"

The food came and they eat their food.

When they were peacefully eating, An Explosion happened outside the 'Blue Moon' They were immediately take out their weapon.

Because people were panicking about the Explosion, They were trying to search for shelter. People started going inside every building hoping for protection. Then a second explosion happened.

"There's a bomb somewhere. Let's go investigate!"

Eis said. Everyone started following her. She activate her Ice sword.

"Let's Freeze everything underground!"

She said while stabbing her Ice Sword to the ground.

"Freeze!"

Suddenly, The Air started to feel cold. The Whole Ground is frozen.

"As Expected from the Ice Princess"

Dream said.

"Well Dream, Lily, Both of you wait outside. Protect the places around you. We're going to go underground and search for the bomb."

"Okay"

Hearing Eis Command, Dream and Lily stayed alert. They also ready to go in if something happened to Eis and the other.

"Yoga, Halberd of Ira!"

"Gava, Katana of Temperantia!"

Both Yoga and Gava turn into their each selected form. People were captivated by the Black and White weapon that Dream and Lily hold.

They both wear their ear piece and called Elaine.

"Dream, Lily? What's the problem?"

She ask. It's unusual for them to call her. So she immediately think something is wrong.

"Miss, A bomb is going of in the city. President froze the ground and searching for the Bomb. Do you know anything about that?"

"What did you say? Explosion in the city? If that the case, Guard that place until Eis come back. Don't get hurt. I might know what their real aim is!"

"Roger!"

They cut the call with Elaine.

"Yoga you feel anything?"

'No master. At least not near us.'

Dream enhance his sense. He try to hear something that might not can be heard by a normal human. And his hunch is correct. He feel a slight vibrate in the air in front of them. Possibly, The enemies using something to make them invisible.

"Lily, You take care the back side."

They talk through the Ear piece so they can talk quietly.

"Okay."

"Dream Style: Spiral Thrust!"

Dream spin his body along with his Halberd toward the invisible opponent. He bust through everyone who's invisible. Blood spewed out from the bodies.

"Lily Original: Half Moon s***h!"

Lily use her Half Moon s***h to quickly s***h the invisible group to half.

"That's odd, It's too easy..."

Dream said to Lily. Lily agrees.

Then, A bigger explosion comes from the Academy.

"Lily. Do you think what I think?"

"Do you think what I think?"

Dream feels a wave of nostalgia hearing that.

"It's a distraction!"

Both Dream and Lily said together.

"Lily, Call for President. I will guard the entrance!"

"Okay!"

Lily quickly goes inside the hole Eis made. She quickly navigate the rough terrain inside. She quickly found Eis and the other.

"President! This is a distraction! Their real aim is the Academy!"

Eis and the other shocked hearing that.

"Let's go quickly!"

Lily lead the way. They meet up again outside with Dream.

"Alright, Let's go!"

They ran toward the Academy quickly. Eis feels like they are holding Dream and Lily back. So she decided to told them.

"Both of you, Go first! We'll catch up to you later!"

"Alright!"

Hearing Eis command, Both Dream and Lily use their speed to their advantage.

"Miss Elaine, Is everything alright?!"

Dream ask with a worried voice. They were asking about the situation with Elaine through the Ear piece. But, No one answer.

"s**t! Lily, Can you go faster?"

Dream ask Lily. Lily smiled at him.

"Of course I can. Let's go!"

They increase their speed once again. They finally arrived at the Academy. A lot of people is there waiting at the gate. All of them are wearing robe. They were guarding the gate so people won't come in or goes out.

Dream started to get furious.

"GET THE f**k OUT OF MY WAY!"

"DREAM STYLE: SPIRAL THRUST!"

Using his Halberd of Ira, He make his own way by blasting through every single person on the gate. The power of it is stronger than his usual Spiral Thrust. A black energy is going out from Dream.

"Dream, Calm yourself down."

Lily said. She's try to calm Dream down because he's currently raging.

"Sorry Lily..."

The black aura around him is going back inside him. He started to calm down. They immediately rushed toward Elaine Office. There's nobody inside the whole building. They went to Elaine office and no one's there.

"No..."

Lily said while looking at the empty office.

"Lily! Calm down. Everything is going to be alright."

Dream hug the almost crying Lily in order to calm her down. She's afraid that Their Friends and Teachers is going to die. So he kept telling her that's it's going to be alright.

They collect all of their courage and went toward the Gymnasium. On their way, They smell something similar to an iron. But they know that it wasn't Iron. So Dream and Lily check the smell out.

"Miss Elaine!"

It's Elaine. There's a wound everywhere on her body.

"Ah... Dre-am... Li-ly. I'm Gla-d you're o-kay"

Lily immediately run to the Bloody Elaine.

"Miss! Drink this!"

Lily gave her a high quality potion. She Drank it and her wound immediately healed.

"How about the other students?"

Lily ask.

"Don't worry. They're currently in the bunker. I told Eis and the other to also go take the bunker."

Dream and Lily sigh in relieved. Elaine told Dream that she already told Eis to go seek shelter immediately. And Let Dream and Lily go to the Academy to save her. So Eis trick Dream and Lily to go as fast as they could.

If they're just late a moment, Elaine will be gone. And That will be bad for the whole world.

"Dream, Lily. The other Protector will come to help us. So, Go wild and destroy the whole place if you wanted!"

"Alright Miss."

Elaine went back to the gymnasium with Dream and Lily. There's two guards outside the door. As soon as they see Elaine, They immediately hold their weapon.

Dream and Lily quickly take both of them out. Dream snap the neck backwards and Lily thrust her hand into his necks.

Dream kick the door open and see A bunch of robed man.

"Oh? How surprising. Seeing Elaine 'the Phantom'. And who is those two?"

"It's none of your business Sam 'The Freak'. Don't ever thinking of going outside alive now!"

Dream and Lily doesn't know who Sam is. But they know from his title that he's dangerous.

"Phantom Strike!"

Elaine strike first. From nowhere, Sam is getting punched by Elaine.

"AH! IT'S SO GOOD!"

He said in ecstasy. Dream and Lily get freaked out by him.

"As expected from a masochist. Even my attack can hurt you!"

"No attack can hurt me! It's going to bring pleasure to me.!"

Dream and Lily get freaked out even more by his attitude.

"I wonder about that... Dream. Do it!"

"Yes."

Dream quickly sneak out behind him. He still doesn't realize it.

A black aura is coming out from Dream. It feed the Halberd of Ira.

"Halberd of Ira: Black Crush!"

Dream swing his halberd down to Sam. It hits his body. His body immediately get swallowed by a black energy.

"Wha-"

He was dumbfounded. The Attack from Halberd of Ira swallowed his body. Nothing is left about his body. The black aura disappear from Dream.

That Black aura is Dream rage that has been collected since the first time Yoga is with Dream. The more rage or wrath is inside Halberd of Ira, The stronger the attack is. But, The attack will consumed all the rage that have been collected.

Seeing their leader died in front of them, The rest of the Robed man started to run away. But, Elaine and Lily is on the door.

"Phantom Strike!"

"Lily Original: Half Moon s***h!"

Immediately, All of them Died. Either get punched by Elaine or get Slashed by Lily. If they go back, Dream will also strike them down.

"Great job. Thank you for coming here and saving me. I'm surprised that nothing get destroyed other than the ceiling and floor get swallowed by your Black Crush"

"No worries miss. You've done so much for us. This isn't even close to repay what you done to us. Right Dream?"

"Yes. I agree with Lily."

Hearing Lily and Dream saying that. Elaine got teary eyes. She hugged both of them.

"Thank you! I love both of you!"

It's like their big sister is hugging them. So They smiled awkwardly.

"Now, Let's go back to the shelter. The Other Protector will search the rest."

"Yes miss!"

They went toward the shelter. The shelter is actually inside the school. There's a secret Lift that takes everyone from The Cafeteria to underground. Even lower from the Weapon Storage that Elaine have.

As soon as they arrived at the shelter, They see everyone alive and well. Dream and Lily sigh in relieves.

"Dream!"

Julius called Dream name. So He went there to check on him.

"Is everything alright up there?"

"Fortunately, Everything is okay."

"That's great. Nice to see you back healthy!"

Dream and Julius bump their fist.

They wait for hours inside the shelter. Elaine went back up to help the other Protector searching for the remaining enemies. Finally they went back up after the situation clear.

"This is a really intense day! I hope I won't get that type of day for years! The panic is real..."

The scared Lily, The Rage Dream. Everything is unusual. Usually, That doesn't happen. Lily never scared. Dream rarely rage. And also, Dream hugging Lily trying to calm her down is also never happened. Usually, It's Lily who Calm him down.

'Master, The next sins is can be used!'

Yoga said in his mind. It's shocked him because Yoga suddenly speaking when he's figuring something out.

"Really? What Sins is it?"

'Acedia! The Model of the weapon is, Chains!'

"Chains huh... I will try it in the future!"

Yoga disappear once again.

'Chains of Acedia huh. I wonder what can I do with that. I guess I'll found about it later'

Dream goes to bathe and then slept.
