Finally, I managed to sneak out and now I find myself outside walking towards the park near the mall. The only sound you can hear is the tree branches swaying from the wind. Once I got inside the park, I hurried towards the vendo machine and slipped out some coins. “I need a lemon juice.”  I squatted down to get my lemon juice but just when I was about to get back, I heard footsteps. Too late to hide, I just stood there waiting for someone to catch me. “Well hello there.”  My eyes widened as I saw the guy that I bumped into earlier. He was wearing a black track pants topped with a plain blue t-shirt. I still recognized him immediately even if he is not wearing his glasses this time. “Seems like I have a partner in trouble now, huh.” He walked in front of me as he scanned the area carefully. “I-I can’t sleep. I just need a drink. I am going now.” I stuttered. Geez. I really am not good at talking. “The guards will be roaming here in just a matter of seconds. I saw them coming this way earlier.” I saw that he bought a black coffee.  “Okay.” I just replied and sat silently. I didn’t even opened my can because I am afraid the guards might hear it. “Don’t worry. They won’t roam inside the park, just along those halls.” He sat beside me, I can smell his shampoo from here. His hair were wet.  “So, you usually come here? Every night?” Finally, I managed to ask him one question. “So you can actually talk.” He smirked at me. “and to answer your question, no. Not every night, but this is not the first time.” Silence occupied our space. We heard the guards walked past the park and finally, I stood up from my seat. Walking away without even looking at him, he asked me. “What is your name?”  “Alyanna” I replied as I opened my can of lemon juice. “Mine is Demetry. See you around. Make sure you go straight to your room, you don’t wanna be punished on your first week here.”  I walked out of the park and he was out of my sight when I heard another voice. “Why are you here?” I stopped, listening to a guy talking to Demetry. “Were you right there all along?” Demetry asked him. I dared not to look and take a peek, I just listened to them. “Nope.” He said, popping the P. “I can’t sleep. Might as well grab one of these.” I heard the can dropped in the machine. “I heard you talking to someone.” “No. I was talking over the phone. Anyway, let’s go. I can’t let our President get caught here, breaking the curfew for a little coffee.   I woke up at the sound of my alarm. Sighing, I sat up from my bed and stared at nothingness for at least five minutes before I started my morning routine. My clock says it’s seven in the morning, so I have forty five minutes to fix myself which is kind of a lot of time since I don’t do anything special. I just do my morning exercise, take a bath, put a clothes on then I am done. After doing everything I mentioned, I looked at the mirror and fixed my hair. I am still not used to seeing myself wearing a uniform, and I remember, I need to finish something tonight. I just hope everything will go smooth or else I’ll be moving out here earlier than planned. I walked to my first class. I was waiting for that bully guy wondering what he might do to me today but he didn’t attend the class. Grey came popping beside me. “Boo.” “Eek.” I faked flinch. “That’s one hell of an acting partner.” He pulled one seat then placed it closer to mine. “ So, what are we gonna do about the assignment? Got plans already? Do you want to do it tonight?” I totally forgot about that, and no. Not tonight. I got no time to be a normal student tonight. “Yea so… Is it okay if we just schedule it some other time? Maybe tomorrow?” I got plans with my friends outside the campus and that was planned, like months ago.” He looked intently at me as I told him. “You look cute when you explain.” He gave me an eye wide smile. “What?” I am not sure whether I did not get it or I am just not used to compliments. “Yea sure, it’s totally fine. I’ll just play basketball with my friends later. I’ll save you my tomorrow partner!” Seems like he was actually hoping we won’t do it later since he just hopped out of the room again instantly. Hours just passed by faster than I thought. Time goes fast when you are actually nervous, I don’t know if it applies to everybody but that what happens to me. It’s already twelve in the afternoon and I decided to eat again inside the cafeteria. I noticed the guys again in Royal blue suit. “Hi Alyanna.” Someone tapped me from the back.  It was Demetry. “Hey.” “How was the lemon juice?” He gave me a wink and I got nervous for no reason. “Uh-T’was okay, will be getting again later, after school, so I don’t have to sneak out again.” “That’s good. You don’t wanna get caught anyway. Okay. Gotta go.” Just when he was about to walk out, I called his name. “Wait. Demetry right?” His eyebrows knitted in confusion. “I just have a question. What’s with the Royal Blue suits?” He fixed his suit as he looked at me again with a little smile playing on his lips. “Oh this? Nothing. Just the Student Council uniform.” “Oh.” I just replied, I don’t know what to say. “I’ll let you meet them sometimes.” He gave my head a little tap.  “There’s no need for that. I was just curious.” I told him as I ate my banana. “Oh there he is.” He pointed at another guy. The guy who made the whole cafeteria silent. “Daniel!” He waved his hands. He looked at Demetry and made his way towards us. As he comes closer, I can feel his gaze rushing in my bones, he’s not looking anywhere but me. I can’t help but stared back.  When he was close, he finally cut his stares and look into Demetry’s eyes. “I told you not to yell D.” His voice were deep, it was as deep as his clear blue eyes. He has the same height as Demetry. He got this ivy league haircut. Well, everyone looks neat in the royal blue suit but he fits differently, he is just simply elegant. “Sorry D.” They call each other D.  Obviously, they both have D on their first names. “Anyway, meet this new girl. She’s Alyanna.” He introduced me to him casually. He just stared at me for like five seconds before he offered his hand. “Hi. I am Daniel, the President of Addilyn U Student Council. I hope we get along.” I can just drown from how deep his voice is. “I am sorry we need to get going. “ He looked at me intently as he fixed his tie. “We got a meeting” “Meeting again?” Demetry retorted. Daniel just gave him one final glance before he walked out.  “See you around Alyanna.” And then he started walking outside.
