[Alpha/ Alex’s dad] We were being attacked by rogues. Me and the pack warriors were by the boarders fighting in wolf form, but there was so many rogues. I had already ordered everyone in the pack to not call Alex. He needed to be with his mate. They are the future of this pack. I heard a whimper that brought me out of my thoughts. My mate was backed up against a tree and surrounded . I ran towards her, but it was too late. The rogues pounced and I felt the other half of our mate bond go cold. My heart stopped.
