CASSIOPEIA:The Incarnation

A phenomenal meteor shower happens in mid August. Even the astronomers cannot explain the odd thing that happened. For the whole week, the sky was bright, no sun appears and the meteor dances and falls. The odd phenomenon left the astronomers in questions and the people in awe. What's more odd is that every night, most of the constellationa appeared and submerged with each other creating new constellations. And in that blissful week, a girl was miraculously born and was named by her mother Cassiopeia. "I named my child Cassiopeia", she wrote on her social media account the day after she gave birth, " she was born under the heavenly showers of meteors and under the light of every constellations in the sky. I was so happy for I know that my child is lucky. But one thing doesn't make sense. Cassiopeia constellation was supposed to be part of them, but she wasn't. Though I think it's odd, I didn't think much about it for I rejoice to the north of my baby girl Cassy". This created different comments on the internet, and finally, the astronomers found out about it. "Duncan, what do think is the reason for it? Is it possible that the other constellations overshadowed Cassiopeia? ", Lemord asked the head astroger as they were watching the night sky. " I don't know. Even I have doubts and questions about this odd thing that is happening right now. It was so sudden and not many of us knew about it before hand. All we need to do is observe the sky for a year and if we can't find her after that, that's the time we'll take action", Duncan replied without turning his head away from the telescope. For the whole year, they watched the sky where the Cassiopeia would appear, but she didn't. And they decided to find a way to solve it. The astronomers think that it could be a disaster if not solved. Years turns into decades, and no Cassiopeia show up in the sky. ... Meanwhile, the girl named Cassiopeia grew up to be a fine young lady. She lost her mother when she was 7 due to a car accident and now, she was 19 years old under the care of their loving father. "Today is your first day at college and I don't want you telling people about your birthmark", her dad warns her. " Yes, dad. I won't tell them a thing about the birthmark in my chest that looks like an irregular W just like of a Cassiopeia,,,, and I might be the reason for HER disappearance. I know, I know. ", she giggles and emphasizes the Her. "Good day, Cassy. Remember what I told you", her dad laugh as she storms out of the house to catch the bus. In the bus, she saw her best friend Josh. " Morning, beautiful. How's your night? ", he grinned. " Morning. I'm good. I am so excited for the fist day of college", she shrieked in excitement. Josh smiled and they talked until the bus stopped in front of the university. He saw Cassy stopped in her tracks in front of the universe. She looks pale. "What's wrong, Cassy? ", he came to her to support her shivering body. Cassy put her hand on her chest and said, " I, think I'm, having a,,,, my heart... I can't breathe! ", she heaves and loose consciousness. ..... " Please...... don't let him ruin you! ", Cassy heard a faint voice as she was walking in an empty field covered in fog. " Hello? Who are you? ", she called back. " Please.....! ", the voice sobs again. " I can't see you! ", Cassy began to get weary and scared. " The time has come! Soon, the whole universe will be ours! He'll come for you,HA HA HA HA", the voice laughed then cry devilishly. Cassy trembles and her knees gave up. She drops to the ground, yet she was still trembling. Cassy began to cry as the voice grew louder and clearer. She felt someone calling her name and her body trembles more. ..... "Cassy?!Cassy, please wake up! ", Josh shook her body to wake her up. " Ughhh!What the hell was that? it's horrible", finally, she woke up, " I had a nightmare in the daylight". "You're sweating and trembling in your sleep. What happened? ", he asked looking so concerned. " I just had the worst nightmare in my life", she replied still out of breath. "Don't worry about it now, okay. It's time for our class. I'll come pick you up in your class room later", Josh said to her as he helped her gets up on the bed. The whole day doesn't go well with her. The nightmare that she just had troubled her, especially the terrible heartache she felt in the morning. Cassy didn't bother to wait for Josh, she directly went home after her last class of the day. On the way home, Cassy keeps on thinking about her dream. That awful nightmare that feels almost real. Thinking about it, she feels cold shivers run down her spine as she hurriedlt walked home. But something or someone could be following her in the spookuly side of the street. Steps were heard and then disappeared from time to time. Cassy was too scared to look back so she began walking fast and then runs towards the busy intersection. “Phew! I must have been overdosed by the vitamins I ate this morning”, she heaved a relief after she saw many people walking around and along the intersection. Then, she heard an evil laugh. It was quite familiar to her and when she turned to her back, Josh spooked her out. "Ha Ha Ha! You should see how frightened you were. It was so funny hahaha”, laughing hardly, Josh mocked Cassy. “Ohh.... So it was YOU! ”, a powerful kick on the leg made Josh jumping up and down with one leg. “Oww...It hurts Cassy”, his face was disfigured as he whines in pain. “I'm not in the mood to joke around Josh. You shouldn't follow me like that. What if I have stabbed you with my safety knife? You'll surely be dead”, she rolled her eyes in annoyance. Josh sure knows how to make fun of her. True, now she had forgotten about that crazy dream of hers. Josh took her home where Cassy's dad has been waiting for her.
