LUPUS
The more time I stare at her, the more I realise that she is one of the women who has her head high, always. As the War of Argos still prevails, she still manages to protect her people and give a shelter above their heads. It's enchanting, to know that a women like her existed on earth. And I'm spellbound.
She walks with pride and without caring what people had to think about her. Her red hair flows across her face as the wind blows by. My eyes didn't bulge to move from her face.
"Martin, if you need anything else please do tell me" She said to a guy who looked a bit old, the white hair strands visible through bare eyes.
The moon light illuminating on her face, the way she moved while her hips swayed a bit made me stare at her for good minutes. When she was out of my sight, I jumped to another tree branch ever so swiftly to take a quick view of her. And then, I found her walking to another male who looked at her with something which I recognised as admiration.
Her scent was mixed in the air, hitting my nostrils hard. Oh how wished to have her by my side. I felt growling out loud when the male placed his hand on her shoulder, I could tear his limbs apart if he did anything more than that. And that male did, he cupped her face, my wolf was howling out loudly. 'Go tear him apart' He instructed but this was not the time.
My wolf; lykos was growing impatient to be with his mate, he didn't bothered to think that she wasn't a werewolf or a lycan, all he wanted was to lick her face and roll on the ground with her.
"You should go to sleep" She answered him, removing his hands off her and a look of disappointment crossing his face. She straightened her dress, and my Lykos was more than pleased to have that male get rejected by his mate.
With that, the both parted ways and I saw the male coming towards the forest, my wolf jumped at the opportunity, he wasn't going to listen to me even if I made him understand. All he wanted was to tear those limbs apart and take his heart of his chest. 'He touched what is ours, kill him'
Lykos took control over my body by jumping to another branch, following the male who continued to walk deep into the forest. He wasn't going to let him go so easily. I was going to do crime and it wasn't the very first time. It was because of her this time. We just found her and Lykos was all ready to kill a male who was near to her.
The male stopped in his track, turning his head around and his gaze suddenly meeting mine. Without any further thought, Lykos pounced at him and that was it, that was the end of the male's life. Lykos showed no mercy over him, he teared him apart, as promised. Not forgetting to grab his heart from his chest in his bare hands. The male shouted and screamed but Lykos didn't stop. The blood was all over us, we were covered in his blood just because he had touched what was ours.
Lykos was silent and much calmer than before.I shut my eyes close. The male's heart was still in my hand, I threw it away somewhere. It was still dark. The villagers would be here any second, and I effortlessly jumped onto a branch. Watching from the top for sometime to see her approaching the male.
She stood numb, her fingers were shaking and suddenly she collapsed onto the ground, her body was now shivering head to toe. Lykos wanted to jump down and have her in his arms but I restrained him this time, if we were to go down and see her, we'll be caught. With all my power, I shut Lykos down.
"Oh my god, Accalia, are you alright?" Her name sounded like a song to my ears and a women grasped her into her arms, patting her cheeks in order to wake Accalia up. I cursed Lykos under my breath, why did he have to kill that male and now Accalia was unconscious.
I watched them carry my mate into the village back while taking the broken parts of the male off the ground into a cart. At that moment, I had decided – I was no good to her, the very first I saw her, she was unconscious, I begged to differ her life wouldn't be in danger if I was by her side. And afterall, it was forbidden for me to be with her, I had passed the f*****g law by myself.
Giving a last glance at her direction, I leapt the onto another branch and left, not bothering whether Lykos was furious at me for not jumping down and claiming Accalia, only if my wolf knew that she was a forbidden fruit for me.
