Liam POV (Ethan Dad)

I need this plan to work to get back at Brett Baker for killing my childhood best friend Maya Parker Addison’s mom. He is the main cause of her death. He said it was a suicide because she had postpartum depression after having Addison. I looked at her medical records and it showed that she was healthy with no signs of postpartum depression. If anything she was happy after she gave birth to Addison. I would say Brett Baker killed her for her money but since she wrote her will before Addison was born. She told me that she had a secret bank account set up for Addison when she turns 25. I still have her letter and it says

Dear Ian, 

If anything happens to me make sure Addison doesn’t become like her father, a greedy man. I fear that he will use her only to get money in his bank account. I should have listened to my parents when they told me that he is a greedy man. I chose to be with him because I loved him so much. Addison is my joy after spending so much time with me. She is the only one who has brought me so much joy. I fear that he is planning something big but I don’t know what it is. He keeps saying soon your time will come soon I will get your fortune. Ian please keep my daughter safe from him. Please Ian I’m begging you. I know I was the reason we stopped being friends. I had to end our friendship because I think he would have done something to your family. He also keeps saying how he will blame someone's death on Stefano Lumbardi. Help them prove they had nothing to do with them. Also when my daughter turns 25 give her my private bank account. Please don’t let her father find out about this.

I printed a copy of this letter and sent it to the police. They told me they showed it to the husband and said that isn’t her handwriting. I decided to help Stefano Lumbardi prove that he was innonces and had nothing to do with her death. He didn’t even know who she was. I will prove that he killed and make sure he gets what he deserves. I get a call from Addison “Hi Addison, what can I help you with?” I say. “I want to let you know that Ethan got mad when I called him Ales. Also that he just used me to get rid of his feelings for Arabella. He also told me that we should see other people.” She says crying “I am so sorry Addison I will talk to him about this. Having a good day.” I say. Ugh that boy is ruining my plan on this.

I drive to the office to talk to Ethan. I barraged into his office. “What the f**k was that Ethan?” I say “What?” He says confused. “Why did Addison come running saying that you told her s**t?” I say shouting at him. “I told her the TRUTH of who she really is.” He says rolling my eyes. “You know damn well the plan we have and was working great until today. What the f**k is going on with you?” I say glaring at him. “I have a second chance to get the love of my life and I’m not going to mess it up. You can do your own plan by yourself. I’m done being your puppet.” He says glaring at me. Whoever that girl is will hear from me so enough. “ETHAN why are you going to mess everything up we have gotten so far. If that girl really did love you she would give you many chances.” I say with a mocking tone. “I don’t care about your plan anymore. That girl is Arabella. You know how she is and I will not mess it up because you tell me to.” He says, continuing to glare at me. I will have to threaten her to leave alone for a year or so. “ETHAN STOP THIS NONSENSE RIGHT NOW. I don’t care who the girl is but you will not mess up this plan for me.” I say walking away before he would say anything. He will not ruin my plan. I’m close to getting what I need to Brett is her killer. If I need to threaten Arabella I will. I know just how I will tell her that she has two options: be with Ethan or her dad goes to jail. I can make the judge rule in my favor. No one will mess this up for me. I don't care if the Lumbardi cut their ties with my family if I do send Stefano to jail. I will prove my friends death.
