Episode - 6

so? - he asked looking at me for a second and then, again fixed his eyes to the road. 

so what? - I asked raising my brow. 

where is your house? - he asked while his gaze was still fixed on the road.

in the eastern part of the forest. - I replied looking outside the window. 

oh..... okay.- I heard him saying with a sigh.

I know, it's f*******n part for you to go there. so, just drop me at the borders. - I said looking at him. 

hmmm. - he just hummed in response and I again started looking outside. 

are you not scared? - he asked suddenly out of blue. 

scared of what? - I asked raising my brow at him. 

that you're sitting with a vampire. I can kill you, you know. - he said with an adorable smirk at his face.

you can't. if you can, you would have done it long ago. - I replied and his jaw dropped on the floor. 

no need to be shocked. - I said and looked out again. 

how do you know that? - he asked looking at me.

know what? - I asked looking at him. 

that..... that..... umm.... - he just don't know how to say it in front of me. 

that you want my blood? - I asked looking at him. now it's my time to smirk at him. his jaw touched the floor as he stopped the car with a jerk. 

umm... you....I... um... - he started but I cut him off in the middle.

I will go on my own from here. thanks for the lift anyways. - I said getting out of the car and walked towards the pack borders leaving him in daze. 

I walked inside the forest and mind linked Ash immediately. 

Ash please, I need you. come out and take the control. - I pleaded inside my head. 

I can't. I don't want to. - Ash replied with sadness. 

she's like this since she saw Darrick l*****g her blood. 

Ash, sun is about to set. we need to reach home early otherwise we will lost in this dark forest. - I said trying to make her understand but she's not at all listening to me. 

please lily. don't force me. - she said with hurt and sadness dripping from her voice. 

she is right. I can't force her. I started walking through the forest making my way to the home but only Ash know the right way to reach the home but she isn't really helping me. the sun set and even the birds too started returning to their home but I am still stuck inside this forest. 

Ash please. - I pleaded to her one last time but she blocked me. 

Ash is not like this. she's nice and respect me but today is different. she seems really hurt and sad. I know how much she waited for our mate. she didn't even let any boy come closer to us. she was saving herself for our mate. she always dreamt about having a lovely and possessive mate who will love her to no extent nd then, spend her life happily with him but we always don't get what we want and fairytales exits only in books and novels, not in real life but Ash was way too innocent to understand that.

I am very sad for her. 

I was still walking inside the forest when I heard a twig snap. 

god! what's it? A rogue or an army of rogues or may be some other creatures. 

I was thinking of looking back but then decided against it. I keep walking deep into the forest but I can feel someone following me.

and I don't know who it is? 

Ash. - I called her for help again but she's still blocking me. seems like she's hiding from me. 

Ash please. answer me. - but she kept silent and I sighed on my failed attempts. 

when I took another step, I saw myself surrounded with a whole army of wolves. they are 10 or more, I can't say but they are not from my pack, I am damn sure about it. 

a wolf jumped at me trying to bite at my neck but I punched his snout and then on his neck. he fell down. then, an other black colored wolf jumped at me but I moved from there escaping from him and he just hit with the tree. then, a huge brown wolf came and started biting my leg. I kicked his face from my another free leg trying to remove him from myself but he didn't budge and I fell on the ground. my hand landed on a big stone. I hit him with the stone. it makes his snout bleed. 

perfect. I was about to get up when another big brown wolf jumped on me. he looked at me dangerously showing his canines to me. god! what's this? I gathered all my strength to try to push him away but my human body is way too fragile in front of his wolf. suddenly I felt another wolf biting my leg. I looked at my feet and found it's same black one. just like then, one by one all the wolves jumped on me so that I don't do any movements. 

it feels like it's my end. 

I tried my one last time to call Ash.

you're not weak. we're not weak. please princess. you're strong enough to fight. I need you. I need you princess Ash. your lily - bily needs you. - I requested her through mind link as a tear rolled down my cheek. 

I don't want  my end to be like this. 

and within a second, Ash pushed me behind in the head as she come over at the surface and I heard cracking of the bones. I am shifting. I am shifting into my wolf. 

Ash's POV -

I just can't believe that our mate is behind our blood. the way he licked his fingers which were covered by my blood, I felt shocked and broken at the same time. 

I can't believe it. 

when I saw him first time, I fell in love with him. I thought that what if he's a vampire, he's still our mate. he will protect us and love us like a mate should do. although, Lily warned me that he's not the right person to fall in love with, that he's just a bloodsucker, that he just live only to suck people's blood but I was a total fool, I covered my eyes and ears, I didn't listen to her at all. I thought that he's our mate. he may not feel that mate bond right now but eventually he will fall in love with us after all, he is destined to be ours but I was a fool to think like that because monsters don't fall in love. they don't have souls. so, forget about soulmates. 

Liliana was right all along and now, I am ashamed to face lily. it's completely my fault. 

I can see her walking into the deep dark forest in this dark night and I am sitting in the darkest part of her head, may be hiding from her. I too want to help her but that scene keep playing again and again in my head. it just make me more sad and I regretted the second when I decided to trust him, to love him. 

well, I blocked Liliana completely to contact me and I blocked all my werewolf senses. I think. I need some rest. it's a very bad day today. 

I was just resting in the back of my head when I saw lily surrounded with werewolves. they don't belong to my pack. 

then, who are they? are they rogues? was it all planned? 

I wanted to take over to protect lily but I was an emotional mess and not in my right frame. 

but when they attacked, I saw lily fighting like a pro. god! she never fights in her human form but the way she tried to protect both of us, it just left me speechless. I never thought that lily can be this much strong. 

I used to think that lily is nothing without me. everyone respects her because I am her wolf who is so strong and powerful but today Liliana proved me wrong. she's born as a fighter. it's her kingdom and she's born to rule. I am very proud of her that she is my human. the respect for her in my heart increased a thousand times. 

but when all the wolves attacked her and when she cried for the help, I couldn't take it anymore.

no one and I mean no one can hurt my lily - bily. I can't leave her, not even for our mate. I am strong too and I will help her when she need me. so, I pushed her back in the mid surfacing out as I changed into my wolf form tearing out all my clothes in the process and making all the wolves fall down  l*****g the mud from the ground. 

I let out a growl flashing my canines towards them. they all are horrified. their eyes are as big as saucers. 

go tell them who is the boss here. - Lily said motivating me to take a step ahead. 

right, it's time to tell them to whom they are fighting? - I let out another growl as I jumped on the big brown wolf and bite him on his neck so hard that his breathing almost stopped. 

just then, the huge black wolf jumped on me, I scratched his face with my claws making his nose bleed. then, I clawed my nails more into his chest drawing the blood and he whimpered in the pain. 

good. that's what I want to hear. 

suddenly all the wolves jumped on me making me fall on the ground. 

come on Ash, you're princess. use your anger on them. you can handle hundreds of them alone. - lily said motivating me. 

right. you are right. - I stand up collecting all my strength and making them fall down. 

now run Ash. -  lily said in my mind. 

what are you saying? - I asked completely confused. 

I said, just run. - she shouted at me through the mind link. I did as I was told. 

I ran as faster as I could at that moment and I saw them chasing me.

why did you told me to run? - I mind linked her. 

it's better. it will take time to finish them if they continue to attack together at you. - lily said making me more confused that I already am. 

so, what's your plan? - I asked. 

kill them one by one. - she said and I can feel her smirking. 

I slow down my pace a little and found a brown colored wolf running beside me. 

good. I jumped at him and tear him apart and started running faster. 

then, I slowed down again and I looked at red wolf and instantly attacked her. yes, she was a female wolf. I bite on her neck taking out a piece of it in my snout and then, again started running. 

lily's idea is working. by the time, we reach home, they all will be finished. 

suddenly a huge brown and a grey colored wolf attacked me. the brown wolf bite on my neck and the grey wolf was biting my leg which was already bleeding. 

I looked at the huge brown wolf and dug my claws deep into his neck snatching away his last breath. I threw his dead body at the grey wolf with such a force that they both hit the tree trunk making it fall over them. 

now, only four of them are left but I found them running to the other side. they are running away from me. I turned to run behind them but lily's voice stopped me. 

we have to go to the palace first. you're bleeding heavily. we need to treat you first. - she said almost pleaded to me.

but they are running away. we need to catch them. - I said trying to make her understand. 

they are not important. you're important to me now, more than anything. just go to the home first. - she said almost crying. 

she's like this. she always cares for me a lot and I loved her so much. 

As you say princess Liliana. - I said bowing down my head and started running towards the palace. 

I am not the princess. you're the one. I would be dead if you wouldn't take over. I am noting without you. - she said with a little sadness in her voice. 

hey, it's alright. you make me feel proud today. I love you lily - bily and I respect you from the bottom of my heart. I am noting without you. you fought so well. I am so proud of you. you're important for me more than anything, more than our mate. - I said praising her. she really did a good job. if she didn't fight then, we would be dead by now. 

thank you. you're just amazing, you know. I love you. - she said and I can feel her crying inside me. 

silly human. 

we're the same person, you know. - she said and giggled a bit.

unfortunately. - I answered with a sigh.
