Chapter 19 I didn't think I could possibly sleep, but whether it was the reassurance of Kendall keeping watch in the next room or the profound exhaustion that permeated every bone in my body, I fell into a dreamless sleep and didn't wake until an overcast, pale-dawn light started to seep through the curtains.
