Ava's 18th Birthday
Ava stood looking in her vanity mirror analyzing herself. Ava stood at a short 5’2” with long red curly hair and green eyes. Her pale olive skin complimented those features greatly. She is your typical varsity volleyball athlete, with straight A’s and glowing reviews from teachers. Today is her 18th birthday.                “Let go, just this once” Ava whispered to herself.                Ava decided that today she would try something out of her ordinary. Good girl Ava is attending the “Forbidden Fruits” club with her best friend Marla. Ava had never stepped out of line, or even told her parents a white lie. Tonight, Emma and Dan thought she was going to have a sleepover at Marla’s.                Marla climbed through Ava’s first floor window trying, not make any noise. Not that Dan and Emma would hear them because they were blaring music and cooking in the kitchen.                “Wow Ava, you look like a tall drink of water in that dress!” Marla snickered.                Ava typically dressed very simply, a pair of jeans, a t-shirt, and her converse. “Marla you said that I have to wear this dress, quit your laughing.” Although Marla was laughing, she did think that Ava looked stunning. The black short sleeve backless dress accentuated every curve Ava has. Ava was blessed with large breasts and wide hips. Always making her stand out from other girls. Marla was also wearing a dress, tight crimson red, with spaghetti straps. Marla’s features were quite different from Ava’s. Marla has long dark brown hair with blue eyes. She also had porcelain type skin. They live in Washington, not much sun there.                “Come on, let’s go before Emma and Dan start singing out loud.” Marla whispered as she exited through the window.                Ava walked out into the kitchen and said goodbye to her parents. She felt a pang of guilt, but at the same time she felt excitement. Marla honked the 1996 van horn, to let Ava know to hurry up. Ava climbed in, and instantly went for the radio. Marla’s 1996 van had survived her 3 older sisters. Ava was fond of the van and the memories she shared with Marla.                Marla pulled into the parking lot of Forbidden Fruits and parked in the furthest stall from the door. “Ava, are you ready for your birthday present?”                “We said no presents this year Marla!”                “You said no presents, I didn’t promise anything.” Reaching into her purse Marla pulled out two fake IDs one for Ava and one for herself. Ava smiled seeing that the IDs had their pictures on them with their ages as 22. “We can use these when we go to college in the fall.”                They quickly got out of the van, Ava noticed her shoe was untied. She wore the dress but refused to wear anything but her converse. She wanted to dance all night and couldn’t do that in the stilettos Marla picked out. Marla groaned when she saw Ava tying her shoe.                “I guess it’s too late now to tell you to change your shoes?” Marla squawked                “Too late.” Ava shrugged.                They starting walking to the back of the line when the bouncer called them to the front. “Oh, great we didn’t even make it to the line before we got kicked out” Ava thought to herself. To her surprise Ava and Marla were let in right away. She looked back and did notice that the line was mostly men.                Marla walked up to the bar and order two water bottles with caps. They came to have a good time and dance. They didn’t need alcohol for that. Anyways Marla’s older sisters warned them about taking care of themselves in the clubs. They had heard way too many horror stories concerning how men acted in the club. The moved to the middle of the floor and started dancing. Marla and Ava were dancing and singing like there was no one else in the room.                Meanwhile in the VIP section Alpha Grey was sipping on some whiskey, talking to his Beta Nate. Nate had been asking Alpha to be his wing man down on the dance floor.                “Nate, go get girls by yourself. I am not interested in being your wingman.” Alpha Grey was very serious about only being with his fated mate. The only reason he came to the club was to see how it was operating. He owned it along with other bars and hotels in the area.                “Alpha, just walk down there with me. You know the women always flock to you.” Alpha Grey was in a giving mood tonight. If anything, he could make sure the bartenders were up to par. Alpha Grey paid decently and expected his employees to work as such.                Walking down to the floor, Alpha Grey smelled something delightful, “Nate, do you smell that? It smells like a cold fall day and vanilla.”                “No alpha, all I smell is sweat and booze.” Nate rolled his eyes.                Ava and Marla were on their way to the bathroom when their path’s crossed Alpha Grey’s. Ava was talking to Marla when she suddenly walked into a stranger.                “You are what smells so good.” Alpha Grey uttered                As soon as he looked into Ava’s eyes, he knew she was his mate. Ava felt the pull of attraction towards Alpha Grey as well. She blushed and looked down. Marla looked at Alpha Grey and said “Watch where you are walking, she’s fragile as it is.” Ava wasn’t really fragile; she was just petite. Marla was trying to make Alpha Grey feel bad.                “My name is Grey, what’s yours?” Ava felt the need to respond.                “Ava.” She stepped closer so she could she his face closer. Marla grabbed Ava’s hand to tug her to the bathroom with her. Grey followed her trying to say anything to get her to stay. He could not be heard over the music.                “Marla, I have to get him number. I have to see where this goes.”                “Did you see how huge he was? He could squish you like a bug. He was dressed so nice. His tie alone was worth over $300! He looks like someone we should forget. Especially since we are in here, illegally.”                               Alpha Grey waited outside the women’s restroom. Even though he was the owner and the Alpha of the pack that owned this land. He still had enough decency to be respectful and not go in. He could hear the conversation between Marla and Ava with his werewolf hearing. The music was not as loud in the restroom area. He laughed to himself as he heard what Martha said. He has had young wolves able to come into the club forever. Every bouncer knew who what specie every person was.                “Marla, there is just something about him. I have to know more.”                “Let’s get going, I think the night is over anyway.” Ava frowned, but she followed Marla out anyway. Alpha Grey stepped straight up to Ava and Marla and asked them to follow him. Marla said “We don’t have to go anywhere with you.”                “Is that so? I would like to see your IDs to see if you are old enough to be in here.” Marla blinked and instantly lost all color in her face. They followed Alpha Grey to the back of the club where his personal office was. It didn’t look anything like an office. It had huge sectionals, coffee tables, and a bar. The only thing that made it look like an office was the dark brown desk facing the door.                “Please take a seat,” He motioned to the couches.                Ava and Marla sat down next to each other terrified. Marla was shaking, Ava on the other hand couldn’t stop picturing Grey’s mouth all over hers.                “I know you guys are not old enough to be in here. I will let you go with a warning and will be driving you home. I am sure you have had something to drink and I am not letting a drunk driving accident happen.”                “We didn’t drink I swear. We just wanted to dance.” Marla whined.                “Either way. I will personally be escorting both of your home.”                Nate walked in and saw the mischievous look on Grey’s face. He knew that he was up to something.                “Nate get the car we will be driving Ava and Um.. I am sorry what is your name?”                “Marla.” She said with venom in her voice.                “Nate, we will be driving Ava and Marla home.”
