Chapter Seven -Go Hard Or Go Home

Bella smiled. She took off out the door. Matt watched her leave.

“Did she eat or drink?” Kieran asked.

Matt was startled by Kieran.

“No. Does she eat at school?” Matt asked.

“She ate lunch with Logan yesterday. Other than that, I wouldn’t know.” Kieran said.

“I think she starves herself.” Matt said.

“I’ll ask around.” Kieran said.

“Please do.” Matt said.

“Want me to wake up Logan?” Kieran asked.

“Nah, she’s doing her paper route. I looked into it, she does have a paper route.” Matt said.

Kieran nodded and sat down.

“Kieran, has she ever flirted with Logan?” Matt asked.

“No, she’s been a bi*ch to him. But when I encouraged him to hurt me. He was about to cry. He thought I had s*x with her and he was going to cry. I saw it. She stood between us and told him to hurt her. He said he could never hurt her. It’s her, I think he found his weakness. And I don’t know how or why. All she does, is be sarcastic as well as be rude. And she makes jokes. And he acts like her bodyguard.” Kieran said.

Matt sighed.

“He was sitting in the hallway refusing to sleep in his room so she let him sleep in her room with her and Milly. He’s with Milly in her bed right now.” Matt said.

Kieran looked annoyed.

“It’s just for a couple more days.” Matt said.

Kieran nodded, he wanted to say something but didn’t.

“Just make sure Logan doesn’t overstep his boundaries at school. Bella made it clear last night that she wants nothing romantic with the both of you. She wants to focus on work and school.” Matt said.

Kieran nodded.

Bella arrived at the job then waited, she was at the bus stop. She had her hood up and was pretending to have car trouble. Bella had her thumb out, as if needing a ride. Bella had her dress lifted up and was making sure it looked revealing. The truck that she was waiting to arrive, had arrived. Bella asked for him to check her engine. He did. She slit his neck on the side of his truck and then took a picture before setting his body on fire. Bella walked away quickly to her car and took off.

Bella ran to a public restroom and washed her hands frantically. She took her dress off and had to wash it. The blood was getting worse on her dress and she couldn’t fix it. It just seemed to get worse and worse.

Bella was starting to panic until she took deep breaths. Bella put her gym clothes on because the dress was stained. She pulled her phone out contemplating on texting Logan, but then she did. Bella texted Logan.

[I need a favour. Have you left yours yet?] – Bella.

[Not yet, about to. What’s up?] – Logan.

[So, I ate breakfast and spilled my tomato sauce and mustard on my dress. Then I tried to take my dress off to wash it in a public bathroom and it got much worse… I need you to grab something for me to wear and bring it to school. I can change after my free period when I visit the gym today.] – Bella.

[Anything to help. I’ll bring it and leave it in my car so no one else sees it.] – Logan.

[Thank you so much!] – Bella.

Bella finished putting her gym clothes on and went to the gym. Her black zip up crop top with a small tank, her gym pants and gym shoes.

Bella went to school for class.

Bella was getting bad looks from all the girls while the guys looked with shocked faces.

“Whoa, hide the goodies.” Mitchell joked.

He had a bandage and crutches. Logan had his hoodie in his arms and carefully put it on Bella’s shoulders.

“Figured when you said gym clothes, you meant a crop top. At least you won’t get a warning.” Logan said.

“Thanks. I didn’t expect to spill breakfast on my clothes this morning.” Bella said.

“Damn, how bad was it?” Kieran asked.

“Everywhere. I tried washing the sauce in a public bathroom. It spread. Looked like juice or something.” Bella said with a laugh.

Logan laughed.

“Where are you going to work out on the free period?” Logan asked.

“In a gym.” Bella said.

Bella heard a loud clang.

“Where is she?” A loud shout occurred.

“That’s my cue. Got to go.” Bella said.

“See you in class.” Logan said.

Bella ran down the corridor as Mike walked around the other corridor.

“He’s the one that nearly r***d her.” Logan said.

“Leave her alone. r**e shouldn’t be allowed.” Kieran said.

Mike looked at Kieran then Logan and walked away.

“You must have really spooked him.” Mitchell said.

“No, he’s full of rage. I think he’s going to lash out soon. I just don’t want it to be on her.” Logan said.

“He reminds me of you.” Kieran said.

“That’s what worries me.” Logan said.

They watched Mike walking away aggressively as he shoved kids out of the way.

“Bella’s going to be mad when she finds out he is hurting kids. She will sacrifice herself and he might kill her.” Mitchell said.

“He won’t lay a finger on her.” Logan said.

“What are you doing?” Kieran asked.

“What’s his name?” Logan asked.

“Mike Lee Williams. Why?” Mitchell asked.

“Calling in a favour to get him suspended.” Logan said.

Logan walked away.

“He doesn’t think it will work, does he?” Mitchell asked.

“You’d be surprised what he can do. My brother is the best at his job. He’s a millionaire. And that’s why he’s the bad boy and acts heartless. That’s also why dad wanted to meet Bella. The first day, Logan met Bella and Logan couldn’t stop talking about the girl who called him an asshole. She had his attention. And he is even hugging his little sister and being a softie at home. Since meeting her, she is like his weakness. Unintentionally, she changed him. And that’s what scares our dad. She didn’t even try and our brother has started to become a musical man. He played piano for the first time since he was 12, he vowed to never play since our mother died. He has a lot of demons. And yet with her, it’s like the demons don’t exist.” Kieran said.

They looked at Logan as he spoke in the distant.

Within 20 minutes the principal was walking with the police to put Mike in handcuffs for violence and put him on a drug charge that the police knew wouldn’t stick. But they needed to buy some time. Logan just smiled as he walked away from the scene. Mitchell and his friends looked at Logan in shock.

“I told you, don’t piss him off. For future reference, don’t hurt Bella. He’s secretly in love with her.” Kieran said.

They nodded and followed Logan to class. Logan sat in front of Bella. His friends came in with Kieran.

“So, I saw them arresting the guy from yesterday, the one from the room. I thought I’d let you know. I don’t know why.” Logan lied.

“Logan, tell me you didn’t.” Bella said.

“I wouldn’t. Milly would kill me. Especially when you promised to perform for her.” Logan said.

Bella nodded.

“Fine, I’ll believe you for now.” Bella mumbled.

“Milly?” Mitchell asked.

“Our little sister.” Kieran said.

“She’s crazy, but she loves Bella and asked if she can keep Bella.” Logan said.

“Milly wouldn’t stop hugging Bella and staying clung to Bella. Which is crazy, because Bella is the softest and sweetest person. And Milly loves crazy and evil. She loves thrillers and horrors. She loves getting real serial killers autographs. Milly is special. We can’t deny her too much or she gets violent.” Kieran said.

“That’s not true.” Bella said.

“It is, ask Logan.” Kieran said.

“I’m staying out of this. Either way I know I'll sound like I am a d*ck.” Logan said.

“Coward.” Kieran said.

The guys laughed.

When the rest of the class came in, they noticed the guys near Bella.

“Ugh, near them again.” Stacey groaned.

“Ugh, in class with me again.” Bella groaned.

“Duh, same grade.” Stacey said.

“It’s called transfer.” Bella said.

“No, my friends are here.” Stacey said.

“The teacher is my favourite, and from the looks of things, your friends are interested in the boys. And the boys are friends with the new boys. Looks like your friends don’t want you darling. Go back to the administration and ask for a transfer so we can enjoy class in peace for once.” Bella said.

The teacher was smirking. Mr Farley walked over and high fived Bella.

“Sir!” Stacey complained.

“I didn’t hear anything.” Mr Farley said.

“I hear a faint buzzing sound. Who has bug spray?” Bella asked.

“F*ck this is why you are my favourite student.” Mr Farley said.

“Your the best sir.” Bella said.

“Bella, last bell rang. Get comfy.” Mr Farley said.

Bella nodded.

Bella stood up and kicked her chair away. She opened the door and pulled a soft computer chair out of the cupboard. Logan and Kieran watched her in shock. She put her feet up on her desk and watched him.

“Comfy, let’s begin.” Bella said.

“Alright. Everyone, turn to page 324 in your books. Bella, use your earphones and continue watching in quiet.” Mr Farley said.

“Still think it’s unfair.” Vince said.

“Well, I did all my work for Mr Farley before the middle of the year. So, because I completed the textbook, I watch Disney plus while you all suffer. Suckers.” Bella laughed.

Mr Farley chucked a bag of chips across the room at Bella.

“I forgot about snacks. You’re awesome!” Bella said.

Logan and Kieran laughed. They watched her watching Disney plus and when they were almost finished Mr Farley laughed randomly.
