The dance studio was like any other building in the roll of buildings lining the street,the only indication that it was a dance studio was the name on its mantle which reads 'Jenex dance studio' and that's where Jessica quickly opened and enter , filled with excitement that she's actually here , finally given a chance to live her dreams. On entering the room, Jessica noticed that the room was filled with mirrors on all side which rose her excitement up a notch. Looking around she noticed that she wasn't the only one checking out the place ,but other people too were doing same. 'Thank God I'm not the only new bird here'. Jessica thought to herself with a relief smile on her face. "hello, everyone! ". Everybody stop what they were doing immediately to listen to who was talking. " welcome to Jenex dance studio,I'm Janet and I'm going to be your dance instructor and of course they are going to be others that will take you in other dances like ballet and salsa,but I'll be the one that will take you on the general dance routine, mainly to see your strong points;and I'll also take you on hip-hop dance too".She paused for a few seconds and looked around." As we progress I belief we are going to get to know ourselves better,but until then, everyone! fall in a straight line of two formation!" ,she ordered as she clapped her hands.Immediately, everybody rushed to do as she ordered, while she went to turn on the music. "good, now we are going to start with warm-ups, let's see how fit you are!" She turned on the music and went on to yell,"run in a circle, quick! pick up your pace you there!," she yelled at a girl. " Ok stop!". She ordered after a few minutes of running. They all stopped, breathing heavily. Unimpressed,Janet shook her head at them "if this is the best you can do,then I have my job cut off for me."She said, with a frown on her face. brightening up,she continued, "For now I'm going to leave you to do your own thing and also get acquainted with your colleagues,cause I assure you, you're going to see a lot of them from now on." Janet said with a smile as she walked away. "hi !" Jessica said turning to a guy that was doing some stretches beside her. "Hi !" he replied, looking up to see who was talking "first day?" asked Michael "yes" "you?" " me too"."I'm Michael by the way" "Jessica." they both shook hands. " so,what do you think of this so far?" Jessica asked, trying to make conversation. "I can say one thing for sure,this is not going to be easy". Michael said with a smile on his face. Suddenly, Jessica couldn't look away. The smile was just so captivating, turning his handsome most into a much more handsome face. 'hmmm, I could work with this,' Jessica thought to herself while appraising him. As Michael went backto his stretches He really wasn't looking bad. Tall, like 6.4,brown skin,plus the beards. To Jessica,it was the beards and eyes that did it for her,he has such amazing blue eyes,which wasn't very common where she comes from. "you can say that again" she said laughing nervously, trying to cover up the fact that she was checking him out. Seeing that Michael has gone back to his stretches, Jessica went back to hers. honestly,she couldn't believe that she caught her self checking out a guy ,not after the pep talk she gave herself. Feeling angry at her self, Jessica decided to ignore everyone and focus on why she was here It was nearly six o,clock when they were done,and Jessica was ready to call it a day,the last thing she needed was to deal with her mother right. She eyes the ringing phone in her hand with frustration .' could she get away with not answering the call?' she idily wondered. Of course she knew that was impossible since it will only make her mom angry,which will probably led to her coming to check on her and then her secret will be revealed. Jessy can't let that happen. " hello mother"Jessica answered, rolling her eyes. " Jessica!, it's that how you talk to your mother now?" "how did I talk to you?" "oh please, don't play me for a fool,I heard the exasperation in your voice." she stated matter of factly. " and don't you dare roll your eyes at me either." she added just as Jessica was about to roll her eyes. feeling suspicious" wait mom, how did you know I was rolling my eyes ?" " cause I know you, now enough of this! ,tell me how your day went." Jessica have totally forgotten her body her Mom was, of course she'll totally want to know how her first day in school was.Which would have been ok, except Jessica wasn't in school, atleast not the one her parents thought she was . Jessica have loved dancing since she was a bady. according to her mom and dad every time she heard music of any kind she'll just start moving her body and that love has been with her till now. Growing up ,she had join every dance group and contest she knew of and her parents supported her. They only drew the line when she said she wanted to go to a dance school instead of a university and her parents especially her mom, wouldn't hear of it. According to her mom, her reason was she couldn't allow her first child and only daughter to throw her life away like that. Since Jessica was dead set on her career choice and she didn't want to continue arguing with her mom, that's why she was here, instead of being in Topfaith university as she was supposed to.
