Chapter two - Triple trouble

2087 Words
Jay's POV: Hey, my name is Jay, and I have two twins named Toby and Blane. We are the famous triplets. Our fame has risen since we were born. It's not every day that someone gives birth to triplets. Now, we are known as the triple trouble. We cause many problems, but that is because we like it. Of course, our parents don't like it. That won't stop us. We got the attention of many girls. Here is the deal. We play, don't date. That is our rule. I'm something like the brain in our group. My brothers and I don't care about anyone else except for ourselves. It's hard for someone to get our attention. Let's say that they need to work on this. Mom thinks we need a babysitter since we can't avoid being in trouble. We are twenty. I don't need to say anything else. She is trying, but it won't work. We won't let anyone care about us and tell us what to do. That won't happen. I'll wait and see what our mom will do. No matter what it is, we'll stop it. Let's say that we have a few brother rules. I hope that none of us will break them. Mom started getting serious about the babysitting thing. It's ridiculous. I don't need someone to tell me what to do. No, thank you. My brothers and I will do everything possible to make her quit. She won't survive with us. That will be mission impossible. The woman won't know what to deal with. Poor her. She won't last long. I'll make sure of this. Sometimes, our parents are in a war with us. I started planning when I woke up. Later, I went to check on my brothers and woke them up. - Why do our meetings have to be so early? - Toby asked - Because we need a plan. We can't let a babysitter stay here. We are at the university. - Mom never confirmed it. - Blane said - But she is thinking about it. She has to change her mind, or we'll make the babysitter quit. - She wasn't serious about this. Relax. - You know her. I won't risk it. - Don't worry. We'll be fine. She won't let a stranger into our house. They can steal something. - That's it. We can use this against her. - Yeah, yeah. I'm going back to bed. - Toby said - You are not going anywhere. - I said and grabbed his shirt - Seriously. They'll go to work soon. We can talk all day. - We need to plan all day. Let's go for food. I think a lot with a full stomach. We went downstairs to join our parents for breakfast. They were eating without talking. Is the babysitting thing canceled? I would love that, but I don't trust them. Something tells me that she didn't give up on this idea. Not yet. I would love to see what will happen. The babysitter won't stay with us much. - What happened with your idea? - I asked, looking at my mom - I'm waiting for your next strike. Another triple trouble means a babysitter. - Come on. We are twenty years old. You can't do this to us. - Toby said - As your mom, I can do whatever you want. - We don't need someone to take care of us. - It's not like I want to do it, but you don't leave me a choice. I clearly can't leave you alone. Not when the three of you are together. - Why? Nothing will happen. You need to trust us more. - Blane said - That became a hard task for me. Whatever I say, you do the opposite. - This is how we work. Don't mind it. - We don't need a babysitter. That's it. - I said - Jay, it's already decided. Please, don't argue with me. You and your brothers are on the last strike. She will regret this so much. We waited for our parents to go to work and went into planning mode. That lasted an hour before we went to university. The moment we walked in, all the eyes were on us. As much as I like it, I don't have time for this. Well, this doesn't mean I won't throw a look or a smirk at someone. We walked into class and waited for the teacher. I pulled out a piece of paper and started writing. I put down all the ideas about how to throw away the future babysitter. - Here is everything. - I said, whispering - You are taking this seriously. - Toby said - I always get what I want. - Isn't this too much? We didn't get one yet. - Maybe, but I don't trust our mom. She is capable of everything. - Why don't we talk after the class? - Blane asked - Since when do you pay attention in class? - I don't, but the teacher keeps looking at us. - Fine. We kept it quiet until the end of the class. Later, we went out. We can have some female company, but now is not the time. I pulled out the piece of paper again. There were some pranks, fake attitudes, and more. I bet the babysitter will run away. I gave my brothers the list to check it out. Judging by their faces, they were impressed. Well, I'm a genius. - You did all this. - Toby said - Yep. We need a good plan. What do you say? - It's great, but can we do all this? - Of course, we can. All we have to do is get rid of her. - There is one minor issue. - Blane said - Which is? - We can't let our parents find this. - I sent it in the group chat, dumbo. - Oh, I didn't see that. - The ladies over there can't stop looking at us. - Toby said and waved at them - Focus. We have to deal with more important things than girls. - You sound desperate. - Because I am. I won't let a female tell me what to do. I tell them what to do for me. - With what should we start? - The attitude is the easier part. We act like that all the time. - Blane said - We'll annoy her so quickly. We went to the rest of the classes. During the night, we'll be out. I know a place where we get all the attention. There will be three handsome boys and a bunch of girls. Here we come. After the last class, we went home. Our parents were already there. Nothing good will come out of this. They don't come early often. I won't let them ruin my plans. Toby, Blane, and I will go out tonight. It'll be with or without their permission. Nothing will stop us. - Why are you here so early? - I asked - Hello to you too. - my dad said - Will you answer me? - We decided to go home early and have dinner with you. Today, we'll be out. - Have fun. - That includes the three of you. - We already have plans for the night. - Cancel them. - You cancel yours. I made mine a long time ago. - So? - Dad, leave us alone. We don't need to be with you wherever you go. - Blane said - Is it that bad I want to spend time with you? - No, but we grow up. - We won't embarrass you. - It has nothing to do with that. You won't understand. - Not if you don't tell me. - I'm going for a shower. - Toby said and left - You are going out with us. Final word. - my mom said - No! I'm not doing it. - I said - This is an order. - You can't tell me what to do. - I said and walked into my room She can't keep controlling my life. I can do whatever I want. I pretended to fall asleep so she could leave me alone. Mom probably didn't believe me, but I don't care. Somehow, they left without us. We waited for the opportunity and grabbed it. Toby found us a place to eat. Later, we went to one of my favorite destinations. Of course, we have fake IDs. We look old but not old enough. I found us a table and went to order something. I winked at a few girls standing close by before I went to my place. - You can't resist, can you? - Blane asked, chuckling - It's in my veins. - I wonder what you will look like with a girlfriend. - Rule number four. We play, we don't date. - Sure, but that might change with time. - I won't permit it. Girlfriends are too controlling. - It's not like you aren't. - Excuse me? - Most of the time, you tell us what to do. - Because you never say anything. I ask you ten thousand times what you want us to do. All I receive is silence. - Our ideas are not as good as yours. That's why we agree to everything. - It's good to know. - I'm sorry, but I can't hold it. I'll see you later. - Toby said and walked to the girls - Some things never change. - Leave him. That might be his only chance. We stayed here until midnight. We have classes tomorrow. The reason we signed up for the same career is to stay together. Let's say that we have a few rules. No one else knows them besides us. I made them since we grew up. Technically, I made only a few. I left my brothers to add more if they needed to. By the time we walked home, our parents were in bed. Toby wanted to play a few video games with us. Who am I to deny this? Also, I'm not that tired. - How was the chance with the girls? - I asked - One of them tasted like old gum. - Toby said, and we laughed - What do you expect? There was zero potential in them. The way they were dressed said it all. - True. I won't go for nightclub girls anymore. - Then where will you find them? - I have been eyeing someone at university. - Oh, god. That won't end well. - Blane said - Why? She will be a smart one. - That means she will dump you before you even try. - I agree. Hey! - What? - We can use this against the babysitter. - What? Are you crazy? I'm not doing this with an old lady. - Toby said - It won't be for real. We'll make her think that this will happen. I bet she has kids. That will be a jump scare. - How do you get these ideas? - Well, I'm a genius. - For sure. Let's think of something practical. - This is practical. - It's a no from me. - Me too. - Blane said - Fine. Let's finish the game and go to bed. I need fresh ideas. - Stop thinking about this so much. It won't happen. - If we had a different mom, I would. - She is dramatizing. Twenty-year-olds don't get a babysitter. Relax. - That's what you said. I'll believe it when I see it. - It's your choice. - Look at that! Got you! - Toby said - Calm down. You'll wake them up. - So? - I don't want them to know what we do all night. We played games for an hour. I'm not thrilled about this babysitter thing. Nothing good will come out of this. Somehow, we have to prevent this. Mom won't listen to us. Dad does everything she says. In that case, we have to deal with this alone. Toby and Blane will help me get her out of the house. She won't stay for long. I'll make sure she remembers my face. No one messes with me and my brothers. We do whatever we want. Females are toys, nothing more. We play, don't date. There is a reason why I created this rule. My brothers know why. I hope that we'll never break any of them.
