KITTY'S P.O.V.

He launched towards me in a matter of seconds, and I was breathing hard but steady. I tried to get out of his hold but it was damn too strong.

I had no mission, I was no spy for my ex-husband, but he wanted to please his mother by marrying me. I had no choice but to put her to sleep for a long time, she wasn't dead and I knew

“Take her to the hospital!” I snapped, but his now golden eyes stared deep into my soul, not budging as he put a bit of pressure on my neck.

“Lock her up in room 25” I was thrown into the arms of a guard who looked like he had seen a ghost.

“She's not dead, take…"

“Another word from you and I'll make sure you wished you had never met me, take her away” Chills ran down my spine at the idea of what he could possibly do

I've spent most of my life running from home to home, but this wasn't something I had a choice in, marrying the Alpha of Sunhaven will nothing but blow my cover and that was the last thing I needed

No one must know who I am or where I truly come from

“You're holding a little too tight” I grunted at the guard. He growled before putting shackles on me.

“Stay quiet!” He snapped and though the poison upon the shackles was starting to set in, I pushed my body back, causing him to stumble a bit out of surprise, but before he could react I kicked him hard in the face.

I pulled hard on the shackles with the stair handle and though the poison was still there, I couldn't take it off now. I punched him in the face as he hit me with a bat, blood poured out of my mouth as my wolf whimpered silently in my head.

I couldn't shift because of the shackles, but I couldn't bare to bleed anymore as well. I kicked him against his grunt before knocking him out and pulling the keys from him.

I unlocked it immediately and a group of guards walked out of the corner. Oh, crap!

“Hey! What are you doing?” I ran as fast as I could without thinking, there was no way out and stumbled into a room before locking it and met eyes with a child.

“It's you again”

“Hello child, I need a favor. Is there a way for me to get out of here apart from the door?” She looked at me and immediately took my last barge of sweets from my pocket and held it out, making her smile.

She ran and opened a curtain that led to a secret tunnel

“Go straight then left, be careful there are dangerous things there” I handed her the sweet as a loud bang came on the door and I immediately ran

There was no point in staying for a punishment, he was right, I was a nuisance everywhere I went. Running was the only option I had, and he needed to let me run.

I took the directions like she had said and came out of the house through a little door that led to the back. As soon as I was out, I ran home.

Turning everything upside down, I picked up a few things before dashing out under the cover. I was close, really close to the gate, but I tripped, causing everyone to stare.

I couldn't let them know it was me, I braced myself before walking away and soon enough I was out of the pack. So much for a home that I thought I had!

“You need to stop making it a habit to run away from me” I froze in my spot as I heard his voice

Run Kitty and I started, but was pulled back with such force that my body crashed against his strong bare muscles that looked oddly attractive

Snap out of it!

“I don't want to marry you!”

“You don't have a choice”

“I poisoned your mother so you could find another bride of your liking. I know it's her wish that you marry me, so I put her in a coma so you won't have to!” He looked at me carefully.

He was too calm for someone who almost killed me an hour ago

“You're a cunning woman”

“I am a nuisance, let go of me, and I'll be on my way, I have no business in this pack”

“I thought you said you were a spy? Or was that just a cover to hide who you are?” I breathe hinged but I swallowed lightly.

I couldn't let him know no matter what

“That is none of your concern” I tried to walk away but within the flash of light I was pressed against a tree without permission

My skin crawled in pleasure at the impact of his hands against my upper up. What the hell was wrong with me?

“I didn't want the wedding before, but now there's no way I'm letting you go. You've crossed the line Kitty cat now you just have to answer to me. Come on let's get married” my eyes widened and I tried to struggle but pulled my legs apart with his knee before pressing his body against mine.

“Let go of me! I'm a married woman." I struggled hard, and he placed his lips on my neck. I fought every urge to moan out, and I kicked him hard, making him stumble a bit, but he made no difference as he used his claw to dig into my thighs and he dragged it.

A scream left my lips as pain made its way through my body, but he didn't stop, he stared down at me like I was prey while both my hand were pinned over my head

“Please let go of me” I cried as he dug his claws deeper, and he buried his face into my neck before sinking his fangs into my sweet point

I screamed and tried to pull off, but it was of no use. He stopped and looked down at his claim on me before meeting my eyes and an electric surge hit both of us.

“Mate” I mumbled unconsciously and he smirked

“So you finally found out”

He knew this entire time
