Chapter 11

Valens POV

I can't even let her get a tour without her getting in trouble. When Jayden mind linked me about Clarissa, I was ready to go kill her myself. But she will get her punishment, trust me.

I hear her knock on the door and the door opens after a few seconds. Her head pops in and golden eyes meet me. I frown by the sudden loss of control but the reason will soon be revealed.

"So is it common knowledge that you have slept with one of your staff members?" She snarls and I get it now. Sia is in control and damn does she look hot.

"I have slept with a few, that's correct. Does that bother you?" I ask her. I can hear her thoughts and the answer is clear.

"I will fire the ones I have slept with. Are you happy now?" Her reaction was not what I expected. She walks up to me, determinant and confident. Maybe she's not angry anymore. But I could not be more wrong. The next thing I see, is her fist in my face. She f*****g sucker punched me?!

"What the hell?!" I roar out in rage. She looks at me with such disgust and I feel like a scolded schoolboy.

"How the hell would you feel if I slept with someone, and you heard them bragging about our great and fabulous s*x?!" Her eyes is consumed in golden now and her aura is slipping out. f**k me. The thought of her sleeping with someone else is making me boil with anger.

"I would kill them and I will kill those who touched you. And I will ripe the apart for hurting what is mine." My voice is deadly low and she nods.

"Then how do you think it makes me feel?! I thought you would wait for me!" She roars and the anger gets the best of me.

"You didn't wait for me!!" I scream and her body freeze on the spot. I don't even notice my error before she turns around and walks out my door.

"f**k!!" I roar and throw my chair across the room.

Sages POV

Did he seriously just say that? He's unbelievable! 'You are both angry, he didn't mean to.' Sia tries to ease the situation but she so wrong. Valens and I? We don't belong together, the Moon Goddess made a mistake and a big one. Sia whimpers at my words towards her mate but I can't be with him. We are not meant for each other.

I walk down the hall and take the elevator to the foyer. When the doors open, I'm greeted with Valeria's smiling face. When she see my sour one, her smile vanish.

"What's wrong?" Her frown is deep. God she looks just like Valens. I walk out of the elevator and head to the front door. Valeria walks beside me.

"I'm going for a walk." I say. She purse her lips and nod.

"I'm going with you. My i***t brother doesn't want you to be alone." I sigh and roll my eyes. Will he just leave me alone?

"I can handle myself, you can tell that to your asshole of a brother." I growl out. The Omegas, besides us, gasp at my nickname for their king, but Valeria only laughs.

"I know you can but he will kill everyone who harm you and those who went against his orders." She explains. His order?

"Dustin, come here." Valeria calls over a guard and he practically runs over to us.

"Yes, Princess. Luna." He looks at me with a little smile.

"We want to go into the city." She sounds very confident.

"I'm sorry, Princess. But the King have ordered to not let the Luna go anywhere." Valeria sighs.

"Come on, Dustin. You can just go with us?" She bashes her long eyelashes at him and he gulps.

"I'm really sorry, Val. But I can't. Maybe a walk in the woods can do the trick?" He sounds very hopeful that Valeria will let it go and she does.

"Fine, please ask him." She pouts and I laugh. Dustin gives her a smile and mind link my precious mate but his smile is gone when he's done.

"I'm sorry Luna. The King says you can only walk in the garden." He looks nervous and I get it. He can't go against Valens. But the anger is still radical in my body from our little fight.

"You know what, Dustin? You can tell the King to go f**k himself. I'm taking a walk in the forest if it pleases me!" Valeria holds back her laughter and Dustin looks white like a sheet. I walk past him and go down the stairs to the forest.

"Don't tell him that, just tell him we are in the garden." Valeria tells Dustin before following me. She snatch my arm and hock hers inside mine.

"You have quite the mouth, Luna." She snickers and I sigh.

"I'm sorry. I know he's your brother but he pisses me off." She only laughs and drag me to the forest.

"So tell me, what did he do?" We sit down on a tree stump and I tell her about Clarissa and our little outburst in his office.

"He did NOT?! Is he a total moron?" Her mouth hangs open in disbelief. Yes, he is. But like Sia said, we were both angry.

"Our temper got the best of us. I don't think we belong together, the Goddess made a mistake." I sigh. Sia continues to protest against my thoughts. Valeria opens her mouth to answer me but a sound cuts her off.

"What is that?" I ask her while looking around. The sound is a high pitch scream and shivers run down my spine. Valeria looks around too but we can't see anything. I rise from the tree stump and walk further into the thick forest.

"Sage? I think we should get Valens." Valeria looks nervously around again, trying to locate the sound. The scream sounds again and I look to my right. I can see a little clearing and a familiar scent invades my nose. The blood in my veins turns cold. I try to remain calm but I need to get Valeria out of here. I turn around and face her.

"Yes, you get Valens and I will stay here." I tell her but she looks at me with wide eyes.

"No! I can just mind link him. I'm not leaving you behind." Her voice becomes stern but I can see the fright in her eyes. I shake my head.

"Valeria, go! I'm staying right here, waiting for you. It's an order." Sia comes forward and Valeria widen her eyes in horror. She slowly nods her head before backing away. The scream sounds again, echoing through the forest. I look at Valeria.

"Go!" I whisper and she turns around, running in the direction of the house. I turn my attention to the clearing once again.

I walk slowly and look around while getting closer and closer to the clearing. I can see a body laying on the ground and I sniff the air. The scent is only getting stronger. I reach the clearing and run over to the body. A young girl, around my age, is squirming in pain. Her screams makes my ear bleed. I bend down and touch her shoulder. She flinches from my touch and I take a step back.

"I won't hurt you." I whisper. I look at her body. She's naked and full of claw marks. Her hair is filled with grass, branches and old leaves. Her eyes snaps to mine and green orbs look at me with wide eyes.

"Don't. Please." Her voice is hoarse and her lips is dry. I can feel his eyes on me.

"You can come out now. Stop playing around, Jason." I yell out. A low growl makes me look to my left and there he is. Jason, Alpha Jacks head guard and my tormentor. A smug smile creeps it's way onto his lips and everything seems so cold. How did he get here?
