Kieran's Pov

"She has been in and out of it for the whole month , I have done everything can possibly do in this situation for her, I have even gone out of my way to burn offerings to spirit guides that I do not even know about for her, one moment she is pulling through and the next day she is gone. I do not want to give up on her, something in me just does not want to allow me give up on her, I'm not going to give up.

uhmm her family has decided to take her home because they cannot afford her hospital bill anymore, I have offered to pay for her but the family does not seem to trust me, what was I even thinking? Which family would just believe a random businessman who is suddenly offering 60k for their child's medical bill out of nowhere after what her and her friend have been through, they are probably thinking I'm trying to get them to leave her here so I can keep Almina from getting arrested or something and that is not even the point .

The decisions I have been making lately because of that girl are out of line, Kieran, rassemblez-vous l'homme, perdez-vous votre jeu? I have been trying to sit still in my chair and do my work but my mind keeps racing to her , i may seem crazy to the people around me but there's something about Lenora that i just can not seem to put my finger on it.

Picking up the phone on my desk I dial Joel

Joel : * "Kieran are you kidding me right now? my brother what has gotten into you man you know i cannot deceive you but this is out of hand. Do you want to put your sister in trouble? Why are you so attached to this girl, have you forgotten what you are? what is it , is it still the dream? you need to get help my brother , go see a Pythoness or whatever they are called an stop wanting to put us in trouble She is human dude leave her alone, come on man I'm not getting involved. This is not good for you and your family and you know it, LET HER GO!! I'm not vouching for you! no I'm not getting involved. Have you seen how psychotic the mother is?"

He walks out on me banging the door behind him. Im left sitting with my hands on my clenched jaw feeling like a volcano will erupt in the next five minutes inside my head, one, two three, damn I screamed out and threw my files sending them flying behind Joel's back at the door and just sat there behind my desk trying to calm my now boiling emotions down. See , me and Joel have been friends since high school and we were lucky enough to go to the same medical school though my life took a different turn and ended up being the CEO of my fathers group of companies and he got hired by ESPERER NETCARE HOSPITAL , talking about being lucky sometimes, I think it might have been written in our stars that we were going to be lifetime best friends, our bromance has been real from day one.

" I don't know why he is not seeing my point, I don't know why he is disputing what I want to do here, why does he not see that this is the best option for her? Fine I'll find another way, I will have to be her house call doctor then yes that way I'll go to her house and check on her on a daily basis. God I sound like an obsessed boyfriend right now. Get a hold of yourself Kieran your father would be so disappointed in you right now, you not trying to be her boyfriend are you? Nah nah I do not even know what I am feeling for her. I think they will allow me to be her house call doctor that is the only way I will get to see her always without any worry. I cannot be far from her I do not think I'll be able to."

Walking out of my office I rushed to the hospital leaving Joel behind , he will see how to get his ass to work since he refuses to help me . I need to see her family before they remove her from hospital . I ran into that hospital like a mad man hoping and praying that I had not missed them and lucky enough I saw them in the corridor wheeling her bed out and I ran after them to tell them I have been appointed as her assist and her bill is already paid , in as much as her mother might hate me and my family in that very moment i did not care what she thought of me , all i knew was she was not leaving with her daughter today . I know I am lying to them right now because in all honesty i had not gotten time to pay but this is the only option I have. I hate how this girl has got me running after her like a lap dog but this is what my heart yearns for right now.

A month earlier.

Mrs Chriselda Duval and her son took a flight to Montebello the next day after getting the call from the school informing them of the incident that had occurred earlier on . when they got to the airport pick up area there was a man with a board written Mrs Duval pick up and she had assumed the school sent someone to pick up her up since she did not know where she was supposed to go. Sir Lewis had to take it upon himself to go to the school behind the royal family to find out everything there is to know about the Duval family so he will know how to help them in such a situation to ease the load on his Madame's shoulders for the sake of the friendship he had with Duke Gregor . He found out upon the information he already had that the family was flying in the next day so he had to pick them up at the airport and set them up in The Comfort Home at the west wing of Esperer Netcare Hospital , he had seen the worry written all over Mrs Duvals face that she had for her daughter and it broke his heart , he had experienced her anger and pain filled punches and sharp pained filled words she uttered towards Almina when she found out she was the reason her only daughter is laying in the hospital , he had to hold Mrs Duval in order for her to not beat u
