Chapter 1 : Elisa's opportunity to work.
In a world where dreams collide with reality a simple maid named Elisa found herself on the brink of a life-changing encounter. Little did she know that the arrival of a charming prince would turn her world upside down, arousing a romantic connection that would awaken her hidden desires and lead her on an unforgettable journey of love and self-discovery.
Elisa never imagined that one encounter with the Prince could change her life forever. Having lost her mother at a tender age, she had spent her entire life in an orphanage, where she had been raised before her aunt Salome found her and brought her home.
She often dreamed of a brighter future filled with love, adventure, and the chance to belong to a family as she grew up amongst other orphanage children. She didn't know that her life was about to change in ways she could never have imagined.
From the age of thirteen , Elisa found support and love from her Aunt Salome. She was a graceful and wise woman, who showered her niece with love and always stood by her. She taught her the importance of integrity, resilience, and strong values, which shaped the character she possessed.
It was Salome who offered her a golden opportunity—a chance to go back to school again and complete her high school education. This was a dream come true for her, and as she accepted the offer, she felt a mix of excitement and nervousness fluttering in her stomach. With a heart full of hope, she had left behind the familiar walls of the orphanage and stepped into a world that seemed like something by its beauty and elegance.
When she turned nineteen, fate intervened and led her to an encounter that would be a stepping stone in changing her life forever. She had just completed high school and passed her exams very well, but her aunt had fallen ill and was not able to support her college studies.
As Elisa strolled through the streets of Aqua Kingdom one sunny afternoon, she found herself lost in thought, admiring the vibrant colors of the market stalls and the cheerful chatter of passersby. Suddenly, she stopped in her tracks when a sleek car pulled up beside her, and out stepped a man with deep blue eyes that made her feel like she will get lost in them if given a chance. He introduced himself with an air of warmth and a charming smile, "I am Prince Hemed."
Elisa’s heart skipped a beat at the sound of his name. "Prince Hemed? The son of King Brentwood?" Her mind was filled with questions. Why would someone of high social class, a well-respected, handsome and wealthy prince, be wandering in this remote area all alone and what was he looking for? She felt a mix of excitement and anxiety as she looked into his deep, inviting eyes.
"That’s correct. And who are you, walking all alone on this road?" the Prince replied in a deep, inviting voice as he stepped out of the car.
"My name is Elisa," she said, feeling both nervous and excited. "I live nearby with my aunt." She felt an unexpected warmth in his presence, which encouraged her to share more about herself. She told him about her life in Aqua Kingdom, her love for the vibrant community, and the simple joys she found in her daily routines.
As they spoke, the initial fear faded, replaced by a sense of connection that sparked between them. The prince listened intently, his interest genuine, as he learned about her world. In that moment, under the clear blue sky, Elisa felt a spark of hope and something she hadn’t expected—an undeniable chemistry that made her heart skip a beat once more.
After hearing her story, the Prince offered her an opportunity to work at the palace. Feeling grateful for this remarkable opportunity, Elisa expressed her sincere appreciation to the Prince for giving her the chance to serve in such a prestigious and royal home. She asked if she could return home to tell her aunt about it, and the Prince agreed, even driving her there by himself.
As she sat outside her home, Salome was shocked to see a sleek car approaching. She hadn’t been expecting any visitors, and her heart was filled with a mix of shock and curiosity. To her surprise, her niece, Elisa, stepped out of the car, followed by a slightly tall and handsome young man.
“Who is this young man with you Elisa, and how long have you two been dating behind my back?” Salome asked angrily, her worry evident.
“Don’t worry, Auntie! This is Prince Hemed, the son of King Brentwood. We are not dating, he has just offered me a chance to work as a maid in the palace, and I’m so excited! This will help me go to college and you should be happy for me aunt Salome.” Elisa replied eagerly, rushing inside to grab her small suitcase.
Assuming the presence of her niece and what she had just said, Salome took the time to question Prince Hemed about his intentions towards Elisa. Once satisfied with his answers, she reluctantly allowed her niece to pursue her dreams. “Your uncle is on his way here to take me to the city for treatment. Take a copy of the key, just in case you feel tired and want to come back home,” Salome said, her eyes full of tears as she hugged Elisa goodbye.
As Salome watched the car drive away, her heart felt heavy but resolute. Letting go was hard for her, but she knew this was a crucial step for Elisa to pursue her dreams. Touched by the love that they showered each other, Prince Hemed couldn’t help but admire the deep bond between Salome and her niece.
