"I miss you, Margaret," Arthur said in the middle of the kiss. I know he was inebriated at the time, but perhaps he was thinking about his late fiancée. I crested out of his bed and left him to sleep.
I looked around his room and noticed a photo frame above his bedside table. My first thought was that it was the image of him and Margaret. I stared at it for a long time, and sure, we did look alike; now I understand why Celine freaked out when she saw Margaret at the accident, and why Alvin was taken aback when he saw me that night at the yacht dinner. Was this also the reason Arthur was so polite to me? because he saw his late fiancée in me? I am confused about how I should feel.
