"Damon?" Damon's presence surprised me; why was he even here? Was he invited by Arthur?
"It's been a while, why are you here?" How dare he speak to me in a casual manner, as if he had not abandoned me at our flat?
"Damon!" He was greeted by Arthur. They do know each other. "Wait, you two know each other?"
"We're just acquaintances," I replied hastily. I don't want Arthur to know about our past relationship.
