Chapter 4

POV:Ara

I was still outside walking around after i got something to eat and satisfying my grumbling stomach i decided to take a walk around all the while checking the posters on the walls for any sort of employment i was still scannings around and i saw one of an high-end restaurant decided to give it a try, so i searched for their page online if the position was still vacant and when they conduct their interviews. I found out that their next interview was the following Monday and i made a mental note to come here before going to campus that Monday, but first of all i decided to go to the place first so i used my map to find my way to the restaurant.

The restaurant was a two story building with exquisite exterior decorations and i was awed,i walked around a bit and decided against walking in, as i was still contemplating a car drove in and a man stepped out handing his keys over to the valet and when he turned heading towards my direction i was stunned to find out it was the guy from the airport and i immediately entered the restaurant without thinking and i was stopped by a waitress, hello miss welcome to Saison please confirm your reservation so i could show you to your table and i immediately regretted entering the restaurant in the first place and i was already gaining attention which i wasn't liking at all, the waitress was about to say something else but she didn't as she moved past me to welcome a new customer in and i turned a bit and saw it was the airport guy that got the attention of the waitress as she was greeting him, Good evening Mr Asher please your table has been reserved please come with me as he was about to walk past he looked at my direction and saw me and i was praying that he doesn't recognize me but i think he did because he stared at me for long with recognition and the waitress was looking between the both of us and i could feel people looking as i immediately broke eye contact and turned away and he did same as the waitress led him to a table while i dashed out of the restaurant before he could turn his back .

I ran for a while to get as far as possible from the restaurant and stopped only to catch my breath ,i feel so stupid why the hell did i run away it's not like i stole or anything i shouldn't have ran away like that what would he think of me,i started hitting my head and soliloquizing as i replayed the last few minutes in my head and why do i even care what he thinks of me it's not like we would meet again. He even remembered me what if he doesn't and i am the one just overthinking or did he and now it would be difficult for me to forget him now that i know he is a Mr Asher, i spent some time standing at that particular spot before deciding to head back to the hotel .

On my way i decided to stop at a Mart to get some snacks,as i stepped in i bumped into a young guy and i began to think that bumping people is a new habit of mine,i immediately apologized and he didn't seem offended as he said take it easy young lady, and i apologized once more as i passed him and went directly to the snacks area although it took a bit of working around before i found it,i picked a few items like chocolates,jellies and gum and went over to the counter to pay for my items and get my things packaged before stepping out of the Mart. When i got outside i started walking towards the hotel and when i got there i saw the guy i had just bumped into at the entrance of the Mart there and i nodded a greeting to him before heading upstairs towards my room , getting into my space i jumped into the bed immediately staring at the ceiling and as i replayed today's activities again.

I stressed my hands to get my system from the side drawer and switched it on as i log into the architect's forum that i am a part of and see if anyone was interested in buying a design at that time, i joined this forum early last year and it had helped me financially a bit i design buildings or sketch designs for architects and they pay for it ; i had sold a couple of designs here and it was very lucrative for me.
