Irina’s POV: I hate having to tell poor Natty the truth but since Christina neglected to tell her why she did the things she did as well as making her forget completely of Clifton and me the marriage I don’t know if I should say everything I’m feeling about this to Natty since this is her mother we’re discussing. “When you were a little baby I wanna say maybe 2, 2 in a half you were out playing in an orchard near the castle and you two were waiting for Clifton and Gregory my husband to join you, when you were playing hid and go seek I suppose the wolf thought that it was the perfect time to abduct you. When the wolf grabbed you, you let out the most terrifying scream I’ve ever heard before. You were so scared, but thankfully your father had heard you and attacked and wounded the wolf who dared to touch you. Though while he was protecting you from being taken he was gravely wounded and he knew that he wouldn’t make it so he instructed my husband Gregory to give the necklace back to your grandmother until you came of age” I pointed at the necklace she’s was wearing that she had gotten from Lisa and Simon her father. “When you came of age you were supposed to come back to the castle to be married but then that horrible ordeal happened in the mountains. Now as for the second time your mother erased your memory. She told me that you were having terrible nightmares and you couldn’t forget that horrible smile on that werewolfs face when he looked at you. And also the fact that as long as you were aware of him he’d be able to find you.” Natty had gotten out of her seat and she began to look around frantically “calm down Sweetie your safe as long as you remain inside the castle walls and even if you leave here Kyle and Clifton or myself will be with you.” I said soothingly to her as I lead her back to the seat. “I hope you can now understand why your mother did this to you.” Clifton’s POV: As my mother finished explaining everything the best she could without trampling on those who were dead or even Christina who I honestly can’t forgive her for erasing me from my beloved Natty’s memory. “Mother maybe we should let Natty rest awhile and let everything sink in” I said while looking at Natty concerned that we may have told too much the first day. “You’re probably right hun, Natty sweetie do you want me to walk you to your room? Or would you prefer Clifton to?” My mother asked Natty. I don’t know why but I couldn’t look up at her until Natty said “I’d like Clifton to take me if you don’t mind” she said with a sincere smile as she looked at me. I couldn’t help the smile and the happiness that I felt when she said that. I got up from my desk and opened the door for her, I couldn’t help but stare at her beautiful body and long dark hair as she walked past me not to mention I was practically in a daze from her wonderful scent. She and I began to walk up the stairs “Clifton?” She called “Yes? Is something wrong?” I asked her, she shook her head and asked with a smile“I called you Cliffy before didn’t I?” I smiled back at her and said “Yeah you did, but you don’t have to call me that anymore if you don’t want to okay?” Then she began to walk toward me. I got to say as she did that my heart practically stopped as she stared at me with those beautiful gray eyes and smiled and took my hand “I you remember now Cliffy” she said and squeezed my hand. I couldn’t help but squeeze back. I think this is the first time I’ve ever looked at her as anything butmy god sister however now I’m beginning to see her as a beautiful young woman. Kyle’s POV: Man I couldn’t believe the s**t that Christina has done to poor Nathina. Why did she erase Clifton from Nathina’s memory? Hell I get me or even Irina but never would I ever have suspected that she’d take out the guy who was to be Nathina’s husband. Then again she never did like the idea of them being together, and from what I remember she protested that with her husband Simon. She had the look of utter betrayal on her face, hell I get that you’d be upset with your husband for doing something like that. Man if only she knew that Clifton felt something for Nathina the day she was born. I honestly wish I was that lucky I’m still trying to find my soulmate, who am I kidding I’m happy that Clifton found her before that damn wolf did. Hmm, the more I think about it…did Christina know that Clifton was Nathina’s soulmate? And she kept them apart to prevent them from being together? Or did she know something else?. “Christina? Why didn’t you tell poor Natty the truth?” I heard Irina yelling into the phone. I couldn’t help but eavesdrop, hopefully I can find some answers for them. “I know that you wanted to protect her from getting hurt by that wolf but what did me or my son have to do with that?” Irina said. I heard that Irina put the phone on speakerphone, “Irina what I do with my child is none of your business besides you didn’t want the two of them marrying either!” Christina shouted. I couldn’t believe it Irina didn’t want them to be together either? But why? What did their husbands see that they didn’t? “Christina, I have since changed my mind when I saw that my son missed her to the point that he had nightmares that she wasn’t ever going to come back, now I don’t know your motives behind keeping them apart but I no longer wish to hurt my child with me not wanting Natty in his life” Irina said. I was happy to hear that she wanted them to be together after Nathina was gone she noticed a change in Clifton, even I noticed it and boy that was a rough first few years. I began to walk away from the study and back up the stairs when I thought of something when we were younger after Nathina didn’t come back he wouldn’t let me go back into his room anymore I wonder why?
