Punishment for Treason

TW Threats and Death:

I screamed as I was ripped from the van. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pressed me close against him. His face was an inch away from mine. I tried pushing away from him, but he was a lot stronger than I was. His skin was hard and cold against me. The vampire put his face against my neck and inhaled deeply. I thought this was the end. He was going to kill me.

"You smell so good." He whispered harshly. I held back a sob, still trying to get free.

"Don't do it, Heath." I heard the other vampire speak up. The bald one in deeply with his eyes shut. "They'll pay extra for her. She's never been bitten, and she's a virgin."

The vampire holding me took a deeper inhale, and his eyes flashed red for a second. I've never been as terrified as I was at this moment.

"I might have to use my share to buy her at the auctions." He said, trailing his nose against my neck. I whimpered from his touch.

The other one laughed. "Like you'd make enough for that."

"Don't touch her!" Tyler yelled, his voice was rough, and he sounded hurt. I tried to turn to look at him, but it was impossible.

"You're awake for the party!" I heard the other vampire yell with excitement. They shared an evil look at each other.

"Let's get them back to the cars." The bald one said.

In a flash of incredible speed, we were back in the Sanctuary. I looked around the best I could. The vampire was still holding me close against him. He finally turned me around to face the other way towards the Sanctuary.

I looked for Tyler first. The other vampire brought him here. He was lying on the ground a few feet's away. I tried to go to him, but the vampire named Heath wouldn't let me go.

"Please!" I cried, trying to get him off of me. "He's hurt."

Heath chuckled behind me, I felt it vibrating his chest.

"He won't be hurting soon." Heath promised me.

A shudder ran through my body. I knew what he meant. Tyler won't be in pain because he's going to die. I felt my bottom lip starting to quiver. I was no match against them. My knees wanted to buckle and let me fall. But I kept myself upright.

I looked back into the Sanctuary, and everyone was captured. The council, all of the including Hector, stood in the center. Hands were bound, and they were surrounded by 3 vampires. The council all looked terrified and weak. Part of me wanted to be satisfied with it. They were becoming too power hunger. Especially Hector.

But I couldn't find the satisfaction I wanted. I knew we were all about to die, and I felt sorry for them.

The bald vampire began walking to the center towards the Council. Dragging Tyler beside him. Tyler's face twisted up in pain and gritted his teeth to stop himself from yelling. I tried to move again to go to Tyler, but Heath wouldn't budge.

"Please." I whispered. The tears began welling up in my eyes.

"Keep fighting me and I will f**k you in front of your boyfriend." Heath said harshly through his teeth making me shudder away from him. I wasn't about to fight with him or even correct him. I stood, still dropping my head in defeat.

Heath grabbed my chin and forced my head up. The bald vampire now stood in front of the council. Tyler was back on the ground holding his ribs. The vampire was speaking to the council while they just looked to the ground. One of them was crying, looking terrified. The others and Hector just looked at the sand.

All of the women were captured and separated from the men. The men stood to the right of the council.

Finally, the bald vampire turned to look at everyone.

"So this is how it's going to go." He said to the other vampires. "These humans have been charged with treason against the Capital and the king Calus Alcaraz. As always, we will take the young, healthy women back to the capital. The rest of the group you can have."

The vampires cheered while the rest of us cried out in fear.

"Take your women who are going to The Capital over to Heath. The rest bring to the center." The bald vampire told the others. I watched as I saw Jess and a few others coming towards me accompanied by a female vampire. I saw the older women, including Barbra, being ushered to the center.

A red light behind me caught my attention, I looked to see an armored truck backing up towards us. It was one of those trucks used to transport multiple prisoners to prison. I've never even been inside a cop car, and now I'm going to be treated like a prisoner.

Everything was happening much quicker than I anticipated. I was hoping something anything would happen to distract the vampires. Superman flying in and defeating the vampires. A meteor falling from the sky and killing us all. I suddenly gain super speed from Heaths spit in my ear, and I can grab Tyler and run. Those were all fantasies. Nothing was going to stop what was about to happen.

"Now, ladies." Heath spoke to us, finally releasing his grip on me. "Say goodbye to your friends and family. We will show you what happens when you mess with The Captial."

The screams started, and my stomach twisted into knots. I looked and saw as Hector and the other council men were grabbed by the vampires. They sunk their teeth into their neck. It was quick. They dropped dead to the ground. I saw 2 vampires harassing poor Barbra. They preyed on her like hyenas. I shuddered and looked away as she screamed and cried in pain.

My eyes searched for Tyler. I found him. He was still lying on the ground, forgotten. No one seemed to notice him. Tyler must've noticed to as he began painfully army crawling away from the blood bath before him. I kept my eyes on him, looking around to see if he's been spotted. He was so close to making it into a shack when the bald vampire saw him.

"RUN TYLER!" I screamed, my voice cracking. I moved towards him, only to be grabbed by Heath again. This time, I fought to get away, not caring about the threat he made to me. Heath managed to get me on the ground. He says on me, holding my hands behind my back with one hand and my chin with the other. Forcing me to watch Tyler.

The bald vampire strolled his way over to Tyler. He grabbed Tyler by the throat and held him up in the air. Tyler was struggling to breathe and clawing at the vampires hand. I watched in horror as tears rolled down my face.

The vampire brought Tyler closer to him and gave him a smug grin. Then, without hesitation, the vampire sunk his teeth into Tyler. I screamed at him to stop, but it was no use. Tyler's body went limp as blood dripped from his neck, covering his shirt. The vampire removed his teeth from Tyler. Blood covered his chin and neck. Then, throwing Tyler's body across the desert.

Tyler's body hit the ground with a loud thump. I began screaming as he lay lifeless. My ears were ringing. I couldn't hear anything else. I didn't want to. I sobbed uncontrollably, unable to breathe with Heaths hand under my chin. I felt myself being hoisted up off the ground. Heath carried me over his shoulder to the truck. The last thing I remembered was Heath handcuffing my hands to the bar inside the truck with the other women.
