Prologue: Crowgrove, 1779
The witching Hour. The time when the clock stricken the hour known as midnight. The days most darkening time as it has been called. That hour has its scar from those who are scared of magic users and spellcrafters that tried using their gifts to help but was betrayed by the very people they have helped. After the fear consumed them they labeled them as witches and started hunting them. The m******e was massive but there were the lucky one’s that was able to escape and went into hiding and about a quarter of them were found and burned at the stake along with innocent woman that were wrongly accused of being a witch. When there were only a handful of covens left only one had the idea to bring their knowledge into the problem without bring the hidden text out of the secret place agreed sought refuge from the same attackers and wished them peace. They moved onward to the dark brown wooden podium with the pentagram on the front of it made from sticks and twigs binned and twisted together that stood on a risen platform of rock mostly covered with moss. The platform is about four and a half inches tall and looking perfectly made as one of the witches stepped up to it then began a speech. “I would like to say that I am happy to see you all here.” She said. “But it is a disrupted time of peace for us since we are being hunted by these ingrates. And for what! Helping their sick! Their Elderly! Their was of space excuses of ‘oh I can’t sleep.’ ‘Oh my head hurts.’ ‘Oh my love life is going to hell and I’ll lose my lover if I can’t satisfy them properly soon.’ and we carried out every demand they had asked of us until this word of light said something according to some traveler?” when she paused she lowered her voice down from yelling to calmly speaking. “Fear not my friends in faith. We are not in the wrong here for we did goodly things and we must not forget what we stand for as we stand here prepared to take our destinies into our own hands. That is that we are caretakers and we vowed to do no harm. Even so we also took a vow to do whatever the we want!” She say’s as she begins to raise her voice higher again. “so urge you to keep your vows and protect one another as well as yourselves! So who’s with me!” As she said that the crowed she was speaking to started to chime in with their responses of agreement and disbelief. Then they starting cheering as she began to rally them to a standoff with the men that wanted them all dead, when the sister witch that stayed back came through yelling; “They have found this place! They have found us! They are trying to move past the fear barrier that I have placed to keep them at bay but that won’t keep them away for long.” That was the twig that snapped in the silence to cause the predator to strike. The once peaceful covens that are all gathered here went from care taking to magical warriors in one night. There was a lot of battling happening with spells being cast and pitchforks being thrown everywhere….upon by the coven, to help save them all.

It all started in the a cave in the outskirts of Crow Grove. There the most powerful yet most honest and caring coven that got it’s name from their once beloved village that was built in the new world. Inside a forest that had darkened through the moonlit night, drizzled rain was lightly coming down. The wind blew slightly through the air as to make it’s presence known by pushing the trees making them bend to make these creaking noises which made the forest more spookier throughout the night. Running towards the caves in this forest you can hear the women as their feet crunched on every fallen leaf. Their breath heavy with air from being sucked in and out that caused their lungs to fill in with more than mere men were supposed to. That in turn cased them painful aches in the joints of their feet and cramps in their sides from how hard and fast they had to run. An owl hooted somewhere as to be a witness to the event that these women feared would happen. As they continued to run without stopping one of them tripped over her clock. Miraculously she didn’t fall to the ground as she kept running as she kept her back bent outward, her head held back, raising her legs higher to give proper movement to continue forward. Her other four sisters looked back checking to see if she was alright and saw that she was fine so they helped her to get to the cave safely. Once inside they said a quick magical enchantment to seal their presence from their attackers and one of the witches said that one of them would need someone here clocked in invisibility to watch for them to warn them if they were to find away inside. One of the women volunteered to stay behind to watch and in all acceptance she stayed. As the rest advanced further into the cave they saw a multitude of other witches and warlocks that had sought refuge from the same attackers and wished them peace. They moved onward to the dark brown wooden podium with the pentagram on the front of it made from sticks and twigs binned and twisted together that stood on a risen platform of rock mostly covered with moss.
