The next morning, Thaddeus woke us up bright and early. We were on the move again, but this time, we weren't heading straight back to the brute territory. Instead, we were taking a detour to the town of the Shadow Pack. Thaddeus explained that he needed to check on his mother, siblings, and other family members.
"So, what's the deal with the shadow pack?" I asked Thea, my voice barely audible over the rustling leaves. He was hunched over a worn map, his eyes scanning every inch with a focused intensity.
My favorite thing about Thea was that he takes his job very seriously. One of the pack warriors told me that he had two sides to him and that if he ever showed his dark sides he could beat the s**t out of the strongest warrior they have other than Sparrow and Thaddeus.
