28th June, 2013In what was once Charlie’s office but which now belonged to Juan, I got to know ‘Special’ Juan Lopez. Posters of glamour models were plastered all over the walls of his office as well as managerial awards, and photographs of him with some sexy-looking, bikini-clad women. This guy had class.
STANLEY: I’ve followed your career from when you first started out in Segunda La Liga.
JUAN: Haha, yes I was much slimmer then. Winning trophies has made me put on weight.
STANLEY: What attracted you to Shyton United?
JUAN: When I see the supporters of Shyton and how the club works, it is like a religion to them. It’s beautiful. We will try to do our best to bring trophies for them. And look at my office. My office here is thirty metres long and ten metres wide, it is bigger than the Oval Office in the White House. I can see the training grounds and it is incredible.
STANLEY: How different do you think football is here to how it is over in Spain?
JUAN: In England sometimes the other team starts with the long ball and that makes life difficult. I will try to make Shyton play beautiful football but keep the ball on the ground. Like Justin Timberlake once sang, I’m bringing sexy back.
