Mark stirred the scrambled eggs and checked the biscuits in the oven. Today Jessica would be leaving to go visit her pack for the weekend and talk to her dad. He didn’t like the idea of her going without him, but she insisted on doing things her way. Since his parents were gone and he still wasn’t speaking to Josh and Maya, he hadn’t made any solid plans for the weekend. He moved the eggs onto a plate and set the table. When he was done, he took the biscuits out of the oven. He used a pot holder to set the tray of biscuits on the table. Then he slipped back into his room to wake his mate. Snuggling her into his arm, he pressed kisses all over her face. “Good morning! Breakfast is ready. Time to get up.” He whispered in her ear in a song-song voice.
Jessica groaned, “oh, what time is it?”
