Chapter Six

867 Words
Unknown P.O.V Sitting in this office was starting to piss me off. I listened to Alpha Kale on the phone with this young dumb alpha Mason. "Look, Alpha Mason, I don't mean to sound rude, but you should find yourself a new Beta or your pack will be doomed. I know we are supposed to come up with a deal, but if Alpha Kale says you're done, then I can not knowingly go against him. Mates are a gift that completes you and if your pack doesn't value them, then we will never do business together. Sara lets go. Ava's party will be starting, and we still have to get her a gift. I suggest you get it together, young alpha, or you're not going to last." With that, my sister and I left the office, made our way to our car and left the Mountain Water Pack. I pulled out my phone and called my best friend, Theo, and told him me and my sister were on our way and told him about everything I heard, and he sounded pissed. "A Beta, It was a f*****g beta that rejected her. I will kill him, man, that's my baby sister," Theo said. "Theo, he hasn't made it back to the pack yet when we left, but if I see him, it's game on," my meek little sister Sara said. We both chuckled before he hung up, and we set off to get there before the party started. I haven't seen them since my seventeenth birthday and my visit is over-do. I knew after tonight I would help Theo wipe that pack out and make them regret hurting his baby sister. Ava and Sara were close friends, there was a whole group of them, and it made me cringe. It hadn't taken long to get to Blood Heart. We pulled up to a spot I knew was for me. We hopped out and Sara took off running to go find her friends, while I met Theo and alpha Kale as I walked to the front door. We walked to Theo's office where I briefly went over my short visit with the Mountain Water Pack. I couldn't help but to ask "Alpha Kale, I need to know what the next move will be? I do not feel keeping that pack around would be smart if we were going to cut them off." "We will have to talk about this tomorrow at the meetings. I do assume you will be attending tomorrow?" he replied. "Alpha, if Ava wants, she could come to my pack and get a break. I know Sara and my mom miss her," I said. "Kyle, you would have to talk to my sister, right dad. Maybe her 'mates' are there," Theo said. "I'm sorry, did you say 'mates' as in multiple. I thought she was rejected," I said, shocked. "On Ava's birthday after her shift, her wolf, Eve, told us that she would be rejected and then given five mates. Those five were necessary to help her reach her full potential, for she is a blessed wolf," Theo said. "I see, did she say who those mates would be?" I asked. This time it was Arthur who replied as he walked in with Drake on his tail, "No, but she has one now. You will never guess who." "Who?" Alpha Kale said, glancing between his sons. "Xaver, her first-second chance mate is my best friend. She came out back on the deck and when I invited her down, she made it down the stairs before her and he locked eyes. He walked up to her, picked her up and walked off with her. I find it funny because he always had a crush on Ava," Drake said. Wyatt walked in saying, "So that's what the girls are downstairs giggling with mom about. I thought I heard them say Xaver took Ava." "I think I am going to go greet the Luna and the girls, where are they?" I said, standing up. "In the Luna's tearoom," Wyatt said. After I left the office, I walked down the stairs and started smelling the most amazing smell; honey and roses. I followed the smell, and it led me to a door on the guest wing. I knocked on the door and waited a moment before knocking again when I heard movement coming from the other side. When the door opened, the smell hit me full force. Alpha Xaver was standing there, and my eyes flew over his shoulder and when our eyes met, the mate bond snapped into place. "Mate"we said at the same time. "Well, this just got interesting," Xaver said. I heard a gasp, then a giggle behind us and I whipped around to see the Luna and alpha standing there. "Two down… Two amazing young men and both alphas. It looks like the moon goddess knows how it's done. I wonder what the others will be," Luna Arial said with a soft laugh. "OK, honey, let's leave them to talk and figure out how they plan to make it work," alpha Kale said, pulling the door closed, leaving just the three of us in the room.
