How far can you fight for your marriage? How do we know if this is worth fighting for? What if you already lose your old self? It is said that when you get married your husband is your priority, and you will be building a family and future together. But what if your husband is in a bad direction, He's taking a direction opposite to your plans. What if unexpected circumstances come, and you don't know what to do. Always remember, love must not hurt you, if it is hurting, can you still say it's love.? Love is supposed to heal you, give you security and most importantly peace.   Nym, is a sample of a strong independent woman who got married at 30, she believes that one must ready herself financially and emotionally before getting married. She did not enter any relationship when she was young, she believes that she must prepare herself and she would only love one man.  She witnessed the hardship and sacrifices of her parents since she was young. She promised that she will do good in school to have a better future, and not to experience the same hardship and struggles her parents have experienced. Nym never entered a relationship while studying because her father never allowed them to get into it until they finished their school. She believes that her father only wanted the best for his children, she follows all his father’s rules and avoids his father to get dissappointed. She has suitors but never did she entertain them or give time to get to know them. She promised to her mother that she won't disappoint her strict father, follows his rules. Hil is a very good father to Nym, he is very strict because he is afraid that his children will experience hardship in life if they cannot finish their school. That is why he won't allow any distractions while they are studying and not having a relationship is one of his rules. Hil always says to his two daughters, “You need to finish school so that your future husband and in-laws would not look down on you when you got married. I'm doing this for you”, Hil is working far from their home as a construction worker, his wife, Virgie who is a plain housewife manages their home and their children.  Whenever his child commits a mistake he blames his wife. Nym witnessed and observed what are the things her father mad about. As a good daughter, she didn't want her parents to fight because of her, this is the reason why she is always attentive and always follows his rules. She always avoids the things that could make her father mad or disappointed. Nym always respects her parents and avoids getting into trouble and making them mad.   Nym is always dreaming of her own family in the future, she wants a simple life on a farm like her grandparents and she never dreamed of getting married to a rich guy. She always says that she would rather meet and choose a good man who has a dream. Dream that they can work together as a partner. She promised that she will not enter into a relationship until she graduates because she wants to introduce him to her family, especially to her father.. She promised when the time comes and with the approval of her father and allowed her to have a boyfriend this is the only time she will enter a relationship. Nym is very simple, sensitive, loving, respectful but very shy, especially to men since she is not used to bond with them.   Nym is simple, she is not very pretty but her attitude, her good smile and her beautiful eyes has attracted most of the men who tried to court her. But she never entertained any suitors and focused on her studies. She never experienced those silly things other young children do.   During her college days, this is the time Nym learns to associate herself with other people including men. She realised that she needed to associate with other people to improve her confidence little by little.   Nym is in college when she meets Rye, a volleyball varsity player. Rye is her seatmate in her Physical Activity, Mathematics & Accounting subject, both taking up Bachelor of Science and Business Administration. Nym is very shy with men and she always avoids having male friends. She is always in the corner and alone and sometimes with her solid female friends only, always covering her mouth with a handkerchief, like an old conservative woman. This is how she was raised, to act like a lady and conservative. She never had a boyfriend and this is not a secret to her friends. Her friends are all in a relationship except her. She always goes to school and comes home after. She never did cutting classes or anything that could wreck the trust of her father. One day at her school, their Physical Teacher, Ms. Hernadez groups the students into two to participate in a dancing competition, all of them must perform with a male partner as they will be dancing sweet dance. The teacher randomly calls a male and female who will be partners. Nym is afraid of who will be her partner. Teacher calls her name and the name of a male afterwards, Rye.  She was trembling, of all people why Rye. The varsity player whom she thinks is a playboy, and her female friends has a crush on and a guy who is always on her first list of men to be avoided. She cannot understand her feelings and she was afraid that her knees might fall anytime soon.  Her teacher called her name again, and she was directed to go to the seat next to Rye. Before going to the available seat, she looks for her friends. They all have wide smiling faces, they tease  her with their naughty smiles. Rona, one of her closest friends whispers to her, “You are so lucky”. ,  “Shut up! He might hear you say that”, Nym said to her friend, she is blushing like a tomato. Nym’s friends are so happy that finally they will see her with a guy. They know that Nym is uncomfortable but they believe she can teach herself to be associated with other people, to improve her confidence and not to be so shy. Nym is very nervous thinking that her partner is the naughty, number one of her list of people that she needs to distance herself from. "Hi Nym", her deep thoughts were disturb by a baritone voice of Rye. "Hi, Rye" she replied with her coldest voice she could ever give to anyone. She has a bad impression of Rye since she heard a lot of naughty things he did and she heard that this guy made a lot of women cry. She also witnessed one of his games in volleyball that a lot of women who have crushes on him were cheering for him. This is a beautiful woman. And now she is there next to this guy, the not so pretty girl in the campus, will be his partner. Her friends are so happy for her but she also knows that not all her classmates were happy, especially the girls who have crushes on this man. Some threw a sharp look at her.  “Ok guys you have 2 weeks to  practice your dance. Make sure that you are coordinating with your partners, Your scores will have a big impact in your grades in finals, Do you understand everyone?,” Ms. Hernandez said.  “Yes Ms. Hernandez” the students replied. Nym is in deep thought, “OMG, how can I do it? Really Lord?, with this guy?”
