Chapter 54 A Final Prayer MINISTER SUNDICK AND his wife, Johanna, stood at the door of the temporary home of the Berean Baptist Church as they greeted the arriving worshippers. The couple tried hard to maintain some sense of normalcy during this awkward time for the congregation, and longed for the day they would once again preside over their flock at their own place of worship. Fire damage at their old location had caused the minister to find a number of temporary places for services, but regardless of their location each Sunday, he always began with the knowledge that God was with them and would see them through the rebuilding of another permanent home.
