Kate watched her friend walk down the aisle, her heart heavy as she saw the sadness clouding Stella’s beautiful face.
Kate knows Stella was making a grave mistake by marrying a man she didn't love and who he didn't love in return. She had been shocked when Stella confessed that she loved Danny, only to be turned down by him.
Stella had felt guilty for falling for Danny, but Kate had told her not to, “Don't blame yourself,” she had said. “I'm not in love with Danny anymore, I love Dean now, and I'm sorry he doesn't feel the same, but you shouldn't settle for someone like Josh.”
Josh is a nasty jerk, and kate hates seeing stella tie herself to him. Stella was kind, beautiful, and deserved so much better. Kate only hoped that one day, Danny would realize what he had lost.
