Colton's P.O.V
As soon as i got home, i saw my Beta, Williams standing at the entrance of our pack, it seems like he was looking for something. When he sighted me, he walked up to me.
"Colton, you just left without informing me" i noticed the helplessness in his tone.
"I think it was a good decision to go without you" i responded
"What!! why are you sounding that way, did anything happen?"
I stayed silent for a moment before saying,
"I found my mate"
"For real" my Beta exclaimed in a happy tone but he wore a "I don't believe it" look.
"Come'n tell me about it" he pushed, "how? when?
" Easy, allow me to tell my story" I said admist smiles.
"Alright I'm all ears"
I recounted everything that happened to Williams but omitted the part where i got intimate with Elma.
Williams was bewildered, it wasn't what he expected.
"This is definitely a good news, you've always been reluctant about this, but who knew you will accept it without thinking twice. Your family needs to know about it" Williams said
"No don't tell them yet, at least not now" i didn't want my parents to know about it now.
"Why?"
"I have my reasons"
"ok, anything you say"
"Alright, let's get down to business. Any new update?" I brought out a topic we were supposed to look into.
"Yes Alpha, we have finally found the location of that rogue and vampire's group which we've been searching for a long time. They are staying near the Pacific East humans town so we have to move there as soon as possible".
This is one thing i love about my Beta, always efficient when it comes to work.
" Okay, I will have everything arranged, we will have to stay between humans to catch them" i replied.
"But....Colton, how can we stay between humans. They are.... " he stopped when i narrowed my eyes towards him.
"You don't need to worry about that. Although we have nothing to do with humans, but that doesn't mean we should think that humans are below us. They are different from us, but there is nothing wrong with it". I took my time to explain to Williams, if it had been someone else, i wouldn't waste my time to say this. Apart from Williams and my family, i don't give much importance to anyone because no one care about me more than them.
"By the way, I need more details about them. There is something I need to find out". I continued
"They are all here, every single details about them" Williams said as he gave me a file.
"Thanks, we will set off tomorrow. Let's start planning our next line of action"
"All right Alpha"
"I need to see my parents first, i will get back to you" i said while moving to the building behind our pack. That was where i live with my family. I decided to go and discuss some family matters with them before getting back to williams.
I entered and saw my mom taking out the dishes to the dinning table, she was happy when she saw me.
"Hey, Colton, i thought you won't be joining us for dinner"
"But i'm here mom, ain't you happy to see me"
"of course i am". We laughed it off, this was a side i only showed to my family. I had dinner with them before taking my dad to his study to discuss an important issue with him.
