Chapter Four

Colton's P.O.V

I've always being reluctant to find a mate, i didn't see the need to have one. Growing up as a kid, i've seen the relationship between my parents. I've seen the love they have for each other and the bond they shared, it was a clear evidence of their love. Despite all this, i still felt the diiference between me and them. Their attitude to life and love is totally different from mine. I didn't want to get attached to anybody, especially someone i don't love. Talking about love, i feel like i'm a person without much emotions and i don't see myself falling in love with someone.

I've always seen my self in this light and it has always been that way, but never have i expected to be attracted to someone at first sight. All the walls i built around myself came crumbling on setting my sights on this girl. It gave me a new feeling.

That day, i decided to go work out alone at my favourite spot in the woods. After an intense exercise, just as I was about to round up, I felt it. My wolf shifted and I felt a strong presence near me. My body movement led me to turn around and as i did, my eyes came in contact with a pair of shiny emerald eyes. When I saw her, my sudden attraction led me to be fascinated with her looks.

I observed this lady standing few metres away from me. She has an exquisite features, one that can get people to look twice. She was about 5'8, a head shorter than me and she has a lean body and an elegance that is enough to attract men. Her breathtaking beauty entered my eyes, and i couldn't help but imagine the moments i had with her.

I could imagine the way our bodies entangled with each other earlier on. I wanted to feel her again.

I definitely know she is a werewolf just like me, i felt it. But i'm pretty sure she is not aware of her identity. It surprised me as i wondered what was going on with her life, though i don't know much about her.

I could say, she is attracted to me from the way she responded to my touches and kisses.

When she ran out, i wanted to go after her, but on a second thought, i stopped. I knew something was going on inside her, i could tell she was freaked out coupled with the fact that she ran away in her human form. I was not in a hurry though, i wanted to give her some space.

When she gets to accept me likewise her identity, i will bring her home. I knew this wouldn't be the last time i see her. I smiled again thinking of our previous session.

It was strange though, she is definitely a wolf like me but it seems she lived with humans.

"You should have chased after her" my wolf growled

"You know i couldn't, she doesn't even know she is a wolf and i don't want to scare her, let's take it gradually" i said while trying to calm my wolf down.

The feeling of finding my mate was not what i expected. I was thrilled at the thought that i found the right person and not someone that would give me a double mind. Though, i wasn't sure about this new lingering feeling, but i decided to go with the flow and follow my heart.
