Hints
Alex did not realize what he did until Lia flinched from his touch. “I'm - I'm sorry, I didn't-"
“It's fine” Lia chimed in before Alex could disgrace himself more
“Any more questions?” she asked with a smile
Alex shook his head and instantly got up. “Thanks for your help, ma” he quickly said, heading out of the office
Alex was more than embarrassed with the outcome of his plan to have a few minutes alone with Lia. Why would he do that?
Ugh!
He smacked his forehead thrice, glancing at the office door before walking away to the parking lot of the college. Lia sat at her table holding the hand Alex held. She rubbed it as she looked at the door of her office before returning her gaze to her hand.
She was not only shocked by his action but confused as to why she felt something. It was like a current. Or was she overthinking or under resting? She sighed and tried to get back to work, but that was futile. She could not wave off the feeling she was having.
However, she knew one thing that can make her feel better and that was speaking to the love of her life, Kenyan. A smile crept onto her lips as she grabbed her phone on the table to dial his number.
On the second ring, he picked up. “Hey baby," Alex said, “How was school?"
“Fine. Just missed you" She said.
“I was about to call you too for that same reason”
They both laughed. “Are you at the site?” she asked
“No, heading home after a brief meeting," Alex said
They chatted and chatted. Seconds turned to minutes, then to hours. Lia ended up not going back to her marking and instead went home, still speaking with Alex.
They paused for a few minutes once they got home as they needed to have their bath but after which they continued from where they stopped “Let's make a video call” Lia suggested
“Sure”
They moved to video call. Alex's face was different from his real face. It was different a bit, but he looked just as handsome as his real self. He had developed a software that would enable him to look different anytime he made a video call with her.
He knew the outcome if she comes to know when he was not ready at least.
They spoke for a while before they eventually called it a day. They both needed rest after a workday.

“And the highest-scored group is none other than" Lia paused for effect as she smiled looking around “Group A"
There were a few low groans from other group members, but they immediately died down with the eruption of claps and smiles from everyone, including the special guests.
The week came to an end quickly, and the students had to finally present their work in front of their teacher. They did not expect to see a few more people, ranging from the dean of the college and an upcoming actor who stood as part of the judges.
Lia stayed out of the judging because she wanted fairness. The judges loved all the presentations, but Group A took the highest score. No one was happier than Alex, who stood in front of everyone and took a small bow.
He was finally going to get an exclusive tour with Lia. Just him and her, with no one else. It might be a tour for her, but for him, it would be a date. His smile was so wide. People thought it was because of his victory, but it was because of his date.
Alex stepped down from the podium and walked to where Lia and the judges stood. “Wonderful job, Alex” the dean commended with a handshake
Alex smiled, gladly taking the shake. “He is my brightest student, sir” Lia piped in
The dean smiled with a nod, glancing from Lia to Alex. “As expected from the Stone family”
”Well, wonderful job you have done here, Lia. Keep it up and so do you, Alex" the dean added and left the hall.
“Alright, Alex. By tomorrow, meet me here for your tour" Lia said to receive a nod and a smile from Alex which she returned before leaving the hall.
The next day, Alex woke up earlier than usual. By 3 am, he was awake and active. No matter how much he wanted to sleep, his brain was hyperactive. He thought of so many things he would do while on the tour, and one of which was giving her a small hint of who he was.
He was not sure how just yet, and believed he would think of something when the time came. He laid on his back staring at the ceiling for a while and would change position once in a while. By six, he dashed for the bathroom to freshen up.
In thirty minutes, he was out and dressed in a suit. He stared at himself in the mirror then grabbed his body spray then paused.
Was he overdressed? What if she does not like it? Or questions him about it? He went back into his closet and changed before heading out.
In the sitting room, Ray and Amanda were seated before the large TV screen watching what seemed to be the news channel. Ray seemed calmer with what they were watching, while Amanda was livid.
The play that was displayed by Alex and his group was displayed on the news.
Amanda looked like she had seen a ghost. Her mouth was parted with her brows raised. Alex watched from upstairs and then cleared his throat as he walked down the stairs, getting their attention.
Ray nodded at him, while Amanda looked angry. “A, what-"
Before Amanda could complete what she wanted to say, Alex walked out of the house without looking back. He was not in the mood for her problems now.
She glanced at Ray. “When did Alex start attending acting class?”
“Why don't you ask him,” Ray said and left the room
