Vin's Pov
"What's that, Vivienne?"
I almost had a heart attack when my mother suddenly appeared behind the doors. Darkly and suspiciously looking at me while crossing her arms.
"If you succeed in lying to him, not on me. I am your mother, and you're busted. Now, care to explain? Where did you sleep? Who did you sleep with?"
She's damn scary.
"S-Stop it, mom, you're scary. Look at your wrinkles. They are popping out--" I said it as a joke, but it got worse.
"Vivienne!"
My soul almost jumped out. No one can make me so afraid and nervous except her.
"I'm serious. Tell me everything, and don't ever lie to me!"
I saw my father tip toeing while climbing up the stairs. I tried to seek help from him, but he just waved his hand at me before he disappeared. My shoulders fell. He has no intention of helping me. He doesn't want to get involved in his wife's madness.
"Vivienne, I'm asking you. Where did you sleep and who did you---" I cut her off, head down, with shut eyes.
"Fine! I-I didn't sleep with my friends...I-I---"
I swallowed hard. Even if I will choose to lie to her, she won't believe me. She knows me very well.
"I-I slept with Felix..." I whispered the last word.
She took a step closer. "What again?"
I could hear the confusion in her voice. She doesn't hear it clearly.
"What again?"
I moved my eyes toward her. Guilty, I bit my lower lip too. "I-I slept with Felix, mom. B-But---"
Her mouth fell open, and her eyes bulged in shock. She couldn't believe it.
"B-But! Nothing happened, were drunk and---"
Like thunder, she exploded and struck unexpectedly, "What the heck, Vivienne?!" she shouted, and I think it echoed all around the corners of our house.
"You slept with Felix? For pete's sake, Vivienne! He is your boyfriend's brother! What the freaking---what are you thinking?! Are you even thinking?!"
My mother is a sweet and cool parent, but if she gets mad, she turns into a really scary monster. And I think, this is the scariest. I could see smoke coming out from her nose and ears. She's ready to bite me if I say more unsatisfying words to her.
"M-Mom don't exaggerate, okay? I went to my friend's party and then---"
"You f*ck?!" She continued.
"Of course not!" I answered hysterically. I could feel my face burning, especially when that sultry but uninvited memories suddenly appeared. Damn, I said that I would forget it, but in just a snap, it rushed back to me. Damn, that night. Damn that kisses and touches! Damn that Felix!
She pointed at my face with her index finger. "What the---why are you blushing, huh? Are you remembering something?" She said it as if she's ready to punch me if I will admit it.
I don't even know if I should find our conversation funny or what.
"Don't ever t-think like that, mom. I swear, nothing happened. I'm just really drunk, that's why..."
"That's why, what?" She exclaimed.
Seriously, she's making my tongue twisted. I couldn't say the right words because of my nervousness. "T-That's why he brought me to his pad and slept---"
She suddenly laughed like she was going crazy over me. "Don't give me that kind of excuse, Vivienne. Do not tell me that you and he slept together in one bed but nothing happened? I am telling you, I once in that situation! And you are the result! Me and your father f*cked and married!"
I almost burst out of laughing. She has no filter! "W-What?M-Mom it's not like that! Don't accuse me of doing such things!"
Damn, what is this? She's ruining the fairytale like story of them that I thought they had since then.
She rolled her eyes at me. "I don't believe you. Teenagers these days are so untamable, and you're not an exception. So I don't believe nothing happened between you two--"
I breathe. "Mom, I am telling you. Nothing happened. He was just c-concern--" Her eyes wrinkled and narrowed by my sudden cough. "--he was there in the club where my friend's party was held, and he s-saw me drunk, so...so he brought me to his pad---"
"And you sleep together. Right. Okay, let's act as if it's true."
"Mom!"
She winced at me and gave me a warning look. I gulped. "I'm not telling this just because I am your mother, Viivienne. I am telling you this because I am concerned about what might happen to you. If you want to work out your relationship with him, be the best girlfriend and don't do stupid things. Be like your mother. I stick with your father even we both started in most unexpected way, in bed."
"W-What? Seriously mom? You don't have to say that to me." I said a bit annoyed.
"What? I'm just telling the truth. That's where your parents started, and I won't deny it."
I face palmed. My mother is really crazy.
"Fine, whatever. But I'm telling you too, mom. Nothing happened between me and that Felix. I love and respect Hendrix and that's enough to not do something that would hurt him." I said it with finality. Lies, lies and lies. I am damn screwed.
She stared at me intently and said, "Okay, I trust you." She said this while my heartbeat was still in a full speed. I don't know if I deserved those words.
Red's Pov
"Oh? I thought you wouldn't come." Honey sarcastically greeted me when I arrived at the studio. As usual, she's wearing glasses, and her hair is in a messy bun. She's my longtime friend and is acting like a manager. Actually, she's a model too, but she likes to meddle with me and my schedules, so I let her be my manager even though I really don't need one.
She signaled the makeup team. "Where is that person that you are promise to bring with? I couldn't see, is he or she perhaps invisible?" She mockingly asked.
I sat and leaned on the chair and shut my eyes. I let the crews to do their thing.
"Don't ask. I'm not in the mood." I replied and she laughed.
"That's not a woman, right?"
I peeked out of my right eye. "What do you think?'
Her mouth dramatically turned 'O'. "This is impossible. Who is that f*cking miserable woman, Felix?" She asked crazily.
