CHAPTER 26
The alarm went off at 7:00 a.m., marking the latest I slept since joining Host. The extra time was greatly appreciated, although neither Susie nor I enjoyed the alarm’s intrusion.
We had been up most of the night. Well a part of me spent a major portion of the night up, then down, then up again. My new body's performance made me proud and appreciative. Apparently, so was Susie.
During one of our breaks, Susie let me know she needed to leave early. We agreed to set the alarm for 7:00 a.m.. I rolled over, thinking she meant time to sleep. She didn't.
After turning off the alarm, I wrapped my arm around her naked body and pulled her closer, giving her a thorough welcoming morning kiss and morning breath be damned. Neither of us complained.
Susie smiled as she gazed into my eye
