CHAPTER 21 The flight to San Diego was uneventful, although scenic as I had a window seat. Unfortunately, it geve me a lot of time to reflect. Admittedly, I was more scared of what faced me in San Diego than my rational mind could account for, A “Chamber of Commerce Day” greeted me in San Diego with only a few white fluffy cotton balls floated across the blue expanse above and a warm, gentle breeze. The temperature was already near 70, which seemed heavenly to me. I loved the freedom of going in and out without stopping to add or remove layers of clothing.
