Chapter 15 - Hiding something.

“You what!?” Andy yelled as I laid on his bed.
“I’m not going to repeat myself.” I said covering my face again.
“When, how!?” Andy asked.
“Before dinner.” I said looking at him.
“Before dinner! Josh… what is going on with you?” Andy said sounding super confused.
“I didn’t plan it! She’s been throwing herself at me for days. I guess I just gave in. It was like one thing after another. First she’s kissing me, then her breasts are out, suddenly she’s pulling my pants off.” I sighed.
“I don’t even know what to say. Is it a mate bond thing?” Andy asked.
“I don’t know. I don’t think so? What do I do now?” I asked looking at him.
“Don’t ask me! I don’t have experience in that area. Maybe your brother has some advice.” Andy said.
“No! Liam said he would kill me if anything happens between Daisy and I.” I said starting to panic again.
“Can I tell Liddie?” Andy asked.
“No! What’s wrong with you!?” I asked.
“So?” Andy asked.
“What?” I asked.
“What now?” Andy asked.
“I don’t know. How do I not act awkward around her? Isabella is coming home tomorrow and we have that party we have to be at together!” I said and Andy laughed.
“Josh, it’s not the end of the world. We’ll all be at the party.” Andy said.
“That’s a relief.” I said.
“You’re probably the only guy that gets this worried over sleeping with a beautiful girl.” Andy said snickering. Andy’s door opened and Aunt Shay looked at us.
“Hello Josh. Your mom is asking when you’re going to come home?” Shay asked.
“Tell her I’m on my way.” I sighed and aunt Shay started to link her.
“She says five minutes.” Aunt Shay smiled and closed the door.
“What if she’s there waiting for you?” Andy chuckled.
“That’s a possibility.” I said and Andy looked at me.
“I know! I’ll suggest that Liddie ask her about mate bonds and such! She has been complaining that Daisy has been hanging around you far too much lately.” Andy said.
“What? Do you just sit around and talk about us?” I asked.
“No, sometimes we talk about other stuff.” Andy said.
“Like what?” I asked.
“Like it’s none of your business!” Andy laughed.
“Fine, I have to go anyways.” I said jumping and opening the door.
“See you tomorrow Josh!” Andy said and I waved closing his door. I got to the bottom of the stairs and I saw Aunt Shay in the kitchen.
“Hey aunt Shay?” I asked and she turned.
“Oh, yes Josh?” She smiled.
“Weird question, when did you start feeling a mate bond to uncle Arnold?” I asked and she smiled.
“Is this about Andy and Liddie? Or is this about you and Daisy?” Aunt Shay asked.
“Both?” I said unsure and she laughed.
“I would say about a month to three weeks before my birthday. It started out small and grew to the point I couldn’t deny it much longer.” She went back to making what ever it was she was doing.
“I see.” I said and I went to go out the door.
“Good luck Josh!” Aunt Shay called to me. I left the house and ran up the road to the pack house. I got for the door and opened it.
“Finally!” My mom said taking my arm. “We have to talk.” I slowly walked with her and I started to panic.
“About what?” I asked trying to sound innocent.
“Barion called and we talked about you going to eclipse to do some training with Jordan.” My mom said and I sighed relief.
“Yes he talked about that with me.” I said and my mom laughed.
“You looked so scared that you were in trouble Joshy.” My mom said.
“You scared me.” I said.
“Well, I decided the best time for you to go will be after Andy’s birthday because I know you won’t want to miss it. You can go for a week and be back in time for Daisy’s birthday. Since I hear you both are such good friends now.” My mom laughed.
“What! Where did you hear that? We’re just friends!” I said looking at her and she stared at me.
“Josh.” She said grabbing my face. “You’re hiding something.”
“No I’m not!” I scoffed and then laughed.
“Joshua Greyback!” She said.
“Mom I’m not hiding anything.” I said.
“Josh.” She said in a stern tone.
“Mom, nothing is happening that you don’t already know about. Ok?” I said and her expression softened.
“Ok, then back to topic. After Andy’s birthday, you’ll leave and spend one week with Barion and Jordan.” My mom said.
“Ok, thank you mom.” I said hugging her. “I’m going to go to bed. Uncle Dec said I could have the day off tomorrow. I plan to sleep in so please don’t send Jensen to get me.” I said turning to leave.
“Good night Joshy!” She called after me. I walked up the stairs and opened the door.
“Why am I not surprised?” I said seeing Daisy reading a book laying in my bed.
“Joshy! I’ve been waiting for a few minutes for you.” Daisy smiled and I sighed walking over and grabbing out pajamas. I started to change and Daisy whistled.
“Stop that.” I said putting my pajamas on. I pulled my shirt off and got into bed. “Are you planning to stay?” I asked her.
“Of course.” She said
“You have a home, probably your own bed.” I said to her.
“Yeah, set your alarm for six so I can sneak back in.” Daisy giggled snuggling up to me.
“So I’m leaving after Andy’s birthdays for a week.” I said.
