The next morning I met Izzy out front. Our families all standing around. I looked around and then checked my phone. “She’ll be here.” Izzy nudged me as my mom approached. “Joshy! You be good for your brother. If Finn gives you issues, what do you do?” She asked. “Walk away or come home.” I said and she hugged me. “I love you. Call me everyday.” She said and I nodded. “I don’t know why you’re going back.” Lydia hugged me. “The training from Jordan will help our pack. I also miss our old house.” I said and she stared at me. “What about Finn and his gang of idiots?” Lydia said. “Well then I’ll come home.” I said and she smiled. “Good!” She stepped aside and Andy smacked my shoulder. “You’ll be back in a week.” He said. “Do me a favor and watch her, make sure Henry doesn’t bug her.” I said and Andy laughed. “You really do care that much don’t you?” He asked and I stared at him. “We will Josh.” Lydia pushed Andy. I looked up and saw my dad coming from the pack house with uncle James. “Son! I’m glad I made it.” He put his arm around me and led me away. “I know everyone has told you to stay away from Finn Lewis. I just intend to reiterate that. I’m not exactly sure what happen that day and I know we all agreed to never talk about it again. If I hear anything has happened. Call me right away, I will be there.” He said and I nodded. “I mean it Josh. Lock yourself in your room and call me.” “I got it dad.” I said annoyed. I had never told anyone but Andy the full story of what happened that day. I looked over at Jensen loading our stuff. “Are you ready?” My dad asked. “I guess as ready as I’m going to get.” I said walking over to Izzy. “Have fun Josh! See you in a week! Dec is expecting a full report of your training.” Uncle James said. I smiled and nodded. Izzy looked around and sighed. “Sorry Josh, she’s never been good at good byes.” Izzy said and got in the car. Before I could get in my mom hugged me again. “I already miss you my sweet Joshy.” She said sadly. “Dear he’s only going to be gone a week.” My dad said. “JOSH!” I heard and I looked over. Daisy came running over and I caught her in my embrace. “I’m sorry I didn’t come sooner. I just…” I put her down. “You hate good byes?” I said and she nodded. I could see the tears forming in her eyes. “One week.” I said and smiled. “Ok.” She nodded and kissed my cheek. “Call me.” She said. “I promise.” I whispered and then I turned getting into the car. I buckled up and Izzy leaned over me waving as the car pulled away. I watched as everyone got smaller and smaller. I turned forward and sighed. “Gonna miss her huh?” Izzy said nudging me. “Of course, but my parents think the distance will be good for us.” I said and she watched me. “How do you feel? Are you feeling a mate bond?” She asked in a serious tone. “I don’t know. I wouldn’t even know if I was.” I said slightly annoyed. “I won’t push it Josh. I will tell you that Liam knows about it all, so now you can prepare.” Izzy started laughing hysterically. “What!? How? Who?! Oh goddess.” I covered my face. “Just thought I would let you know.” Izzy chuckled. The ride was long as always. Izzy made it easier by cracking jokes. Mostly about how I was going to die. Once we landed close to eclipse I held my breath as we walked out to the front. “Sarah!” Izzy hugged her. “Hello kids! Are you ready?” She asked grabbing our bags. “Not really.” I said and Izzy nudged me. We got into the car and one long ride later we were pulling up to our old home. I felt excited as we pulled up front. I got out of the car and Barion walked out front. “Finally! Mom has been calling for a hour!” Barion said walking up and hugging me. “Hey Bari, how the hell are ya!?” Izzy said and they high fived. “We are going to have the best time!” Barion said and he looked at me. There was silence and I felt panic raising as Barion then clasped my shoulder and started walking with me toward the house. “What’s up Bari?” I said and there was still silence as we walked into the house. “He’s here!” Barion yelled and I started to walk away. Barion grabbed me and held me there. I looked up and saw Liam at the top of the stairs glaring down. “Hey Liam. How’s things?” I said still panicking. “Hey Joshy. How are things with you?” Liam got to the bottom of the stairs. “Good.” I said and Izzy walked over and pushed Liam. “Stop scaring the boy.” Izzy said and they all started to laugh. “You should’ve seen your face!” Barion said laughing. “Show me the video again!” Liam said and Izzy started playing the video of Henry freaking out. “Is that really because of you?” Barion looked at me. “I don’t know.” I said and Barion gave me a annoyed look. “Mom told me you and Henry fought.” Barion said. “We didn’t fight! It was a verbal argument!” I said and Izzy sighed. “They argued because Josh and Daisy ran off together before Andy’s party was over. I heard from my parents talking that my dad had to forced Henry to drop him and that Josh was growling and about to transform.” Izzy said and both guys were eating up her words. “Josh come on!” Barion said grabbing me and shaking me. I looked at Liam and then back at Barion. “He’s scared Liam is gonna kill him when he finds out Daisy is his girlfriend.” Izzy said. “Josh you dog!” My brother pushed me and Liam laughed hysterically. “I’m not going to kill you Josh. I’m just going to hurt you a little.” Liam said in a nice voice and then he punched my shoulder. “Ow!” I glared at him. “We… we didn’t do anything!” I said and they all laughed. “So my dad said she was sneaking out at night to be with you for no reason?” Liam said. “Josh details please!” Barion said and I explained the story again. Barion put his arm around me and we all headed into the dining room. “Josh, I’m proud of you for keeping your cool mostly.” Barion said. “Henry is going to get a *sswhipping from me if he doesn’t back off.” Liam said slumping into a chair. “Hey! That’s my brother guys! Remember that please.” Izzy sat down by Liam. “Yeah and we have tolerated his shenanigans for this long!” Liam said in a huff. “Why won’t he give up anyways? I told him she’s not interested and he persists.” I said and Liam leaned forward. “Daisy didn’t tell you? Tell him.” Liam turned to Izzy. “Ugh! I convinced her to go on a couple dates with him. He told me he felt a mate bond to her. When his birthday happen and there was nothing, she split. He’s been erratic since. Scaring off guys in high school, along with Liam.” Izzy said pushing him. “But he hangs on.” I said. “Henry has loved her since we were kids.” Izzy said. “She’s hated that since we were kids.” Liam said mocking her.
