Chapter 36 - Seeing Jordan again.

My alarm went off and I turned it off. I held my phone seeing a message from Daisy.
“You didn’t message me yesterday! I miss you already.” Daisy’s message read and I smiled.
“Sorry, we got in late and I didn’t want to wake you.” I typed out and hit send. I put my phone down and started to stretch. My phone buzzed and I picked it up.
“You don’t miss me too!?” She replied.
“Oh my goddess.” I said rubbing my eyes then started to reply. “Of course, I miss you too.” I hit send and sighed. I got up and started to change. I headed down to breakfast. Liam and Barion were already eating breakfast.
“There’s the lady killer!” Barion yelled as I came in.
“My sister says you’re ignoring her messages. Josh are you ignoring my sister?” Liam said with a glare.
“What? I just messaged her.” I said pulling out my phone. I had two missed messages. I sat down next to Barion.
“I hope you have a good first day! Remember! No other girls.” I looked at the next message. “No other girls right? Why aren’t you answering me?”. I heard Barion laugh.
“I’m at breakfast and I remember. I’ll call you later.” I said and I sighed putting my phone down.
“She made him promise not to see other girls.” Barion laughed.
“He better not be seeing other girls! You’re not going to do my sister like that!” Liam said glaring at me.
“I’m not seeing any other girl. As far as I remember, no one really likes me here. I’m just here to train.” I watched as a plate of food was placed in front of me.
“So are you guys feeling the mate bond?” Barion asked.
“I have no clue even what it would feel like to be honest with you.” I said and Liam was glaring.
“Are you going to dump her after her birthday!?” He asked and I looked at Barion.
“We… we aren’t dating.” I said and Liam stood up.
“Excuse me!?” Liam said and I grabbed Barion’s arm.
“According to Lydia they are.” Barion said and Liam sat down.
“I-I don’t know what to say.” I sat there nervous and Barion laughed. He pulled out his phone and snapped my picture.
“I haven’t seen Josh use this much emotion in years.” Barion said typing on his phone. “We have to go soon, so eat.” Barion said smiling. I started eating quickly and stood up.
“Ready.” I said.
“Hey, get Izzy up and get her prepped, today training is starting for her.” Barion said and Liam nodded.
“Sure thing.” Liam said still eating. Barion put his arm around me and we headed out of the dining room. “Josh, I promised mom I would never leave your side.” Barion said as we walked out of the front doors.
“Yes she told me.” I said and he looked at me.
“If I do wander off, as I may get bored. Call me if you see Finn. I’m only a mind link away.” Barion said as we got into the car.
“Alright.” I said and the driver started to pull us away towards eclipse. I smiled as I saw it come into view. How I missed the morning training and being with Jordan. As we pulled to the front, Barion squeezed my shoulder and chucked at the huge smile on my face. As we came to a stop, Jordan came out of the doors. I threw the door open and ran up hugging him.
“Josh! My star pupil! How are you?” He asked.
“I’m good!” I said as we came out of our embrace.
“He’s got a girlfriend in Silvermoon.” Barion said.
“Josh!” Jordan gasped and then laughed.
“She’s a friend.” I said and Barion shook his head.
“What ever you say Josh.” Jordan said as we headed inside.
“As you know, my mom said I’m to stay with Josh at all times.” Barion said.
“Yes, one of us will always be with Josh. Like old times right Josh!?” Jordan said.
“I’ve only been gone like a few weeks.” I said looking at them like they were weird.
“Where is Finn?” Barion asked.
“As far as I knew, the little *sshole is with his dad.” Jordan said and I snickered. We walked into Jordan’s office. I had only been in here one time and even then I didn’t pay attention to anything. Barion and Jordan started talking about the weeks worth of training and I started looking at the shelves in his office. I spotted my mom in a picture and was looking at it. A younger Jordan, mom, Alpha Lewis, Luna Christa, and who I could only assume was Barion’s father. He looked just like him. I noticed the room was silent and I turned around.
“Ready to get started?” Jordan asked me.
“Of course!” I said excited. First Jordan started to show me the schedules set for each training and who was in charge of training. The sets they planned to do and a list of the ranked students.
“I know Silvermoon does stuff a little different. They have their training college, which you’re going to spend a few days at soon as well if Beta Declan is correct?” Jordan asked.
“Oh yeah we talked about it. It just hasn’t happened. We have been having issues with the high school trainees.” I said and Jordan looked at me.
“What do you mean?” He asked.
“Their formation isn’t tight, Footing is sloppy, and the hand movements are just slow.” I said and Jordan smiled and pat my shoulder.
“I’m proud of you. You’re going to be amazing in Silvermoon as their Beta.” Jordan said.
