Chapter 4

Zachary was frustrated ,even though business was going great he was in an ugly mood most of the time lately. And he blamed his assistant. She was always going about so poised , graceful and professional like an ice princess it was unnerving. And the way she dressed, although it was decent it left him wondering and his imagination running wild.

Today it was worse he was aroused during the meeting by the way she sat with her legs crossed and when she walked the sway in her hips. He concluded that it was just l**t and it could be fixed when he got laid and lucky for him he bumped into Janet or Janice from accounting.

“Hey” he said to her as he gave her his signature smirk. She blushed and gave him a flirty smile.

“hey “ she replied and she walked closer to him then she bit her lip trying to be sexy. It wasn’t working for Zach but he needed release so he did not care.

“So i haven't seen you in while.How about lunch in my office to catch up?”

“I would love to” she replied giving him a bright smile.

“Good follow after two minutes don’t knock just enter my office I will be waiting for you” Zach said as he grabbed and squeezed her behind and then left her.

Precisely two minutes after he entered his office she entered and with a smirk he attacked her lips with his.

They were so engrossed in their activities that when a throat cleared Zach pushed they girl on his lap off him and she fell hard on the floor.

Ava was looking at them with an eyebrow raised and hands on her hips. For a minute Zach was frightened of her but he shook it off and glared at her for c**k blocking him.

“Don’t you know how to knock” he shouted.

Ava ignored him and focused her attention at the girl who was glaring at her in just her under garments on the floor.

“Miss……?”

“Townsend” she replied.

“Yes Miss Townsend would you please get dressed and go to work " she politely asked. The woman stared at Ava defiantly and then turned to Zach.

“Janet stay " Zach said as he uncrossed his arms over his n***d chest , grabbed the woman and gave a hard kiss.

“Baby my name is Jasmine” she said then turned and gave a smug smile to Ava.

“If you value your job at this company you will listen to me.Now move before I get security to drag your scantily dressed body out of here”

“Now miss Townsend " Ava ordered in a slightly raised voice Jasmine hurriedly dressed and left.Ava waited patiently until Jasmine left and closed the door then turned to her still half dressed boss.

“Mr. Lockhart get dressed " Ava ordered she saw the defiant look in his eyes and added. “Unless you want your father to know about this I suggest you listen.”. This got his attention and he listened.

“Good now take a sit we need to have a little chat.”

“What if I don’t want?”

“Did I ask what you want?”. Zach glared but remained quiet “Very good”

“Get on with your chat I’m a busy man” he grumbled crossing his arms across his chest again.

“You have thirty minutes to your next appointment so we got all the time in the world” Ava said as she sat down across from him.

“What do you want to say?” he rudely asked.

“Zachary you are a genius when it comes to business. I have read about the deals you snagged for this company. Business magazines describe you as a guru of business” Ava spoke looking him dead in the eye.

Zach was shocked because  she used his name and  she gave him a complement. “But you act like a stupid teenager. You are reckless ,idiotic and have an attitude of a toddler. The gossip magazines call you a serial player and heartbreaker which I agree on and……”

“Hold on a minute I …….”

“shut up do not interrupt me when I’m talking " she growled and that shut him up.

“You are going to cost this company with your reckless w*****g ways. I don’t care much about your personal life but when your conquests start acting up at work it’s a problem. My advice is simple don’t f**k employees and don’t use the company as your f*****g bedroom its unprofessional and tacky. The woman here are dressing like strippers just to get you to call them for a booty call in your office. If you keep this up you will run it to the  ground. Now be a man, stop being a spoiled brat  and get your s**t together OK. "

Zach just nodded too stunned to answer.

“Good nice chat. Now Mr. Lockhart clean your self up Mr. Morris will be here in ten minutes. " Ava smiled politely and exited the office leaving a dumbfounded boss.

After going through some emails and some company files that needed approval Zach leaned back to rest his eyes. His mind drifted to the ice princess's words and he had to agree. He overhead some girls talking about what happened in the cafeteria between Ava and Brooke.

It irked him when women started staking claim on him just because they had sex.He did not do relationships ,women could not be trusted well except his mother. He would never get himself in that situation to be used and be hurt. Plus he enjoyed being single and enjoying the pleasure of exploring with a different partner each time. And he never made any promises to these girls they knew what he wanted but kept coming thinking they can change him.

But ice princess  was right employees complicated things although he would never tell her.

He was brought out of his train of thought when his door opened and Brooke sashayed in.Zach groaned in annoyance he was not in the mood to deal with her. He pressed his intercom and called for Ava but was met with silence.

“Don’t worry she went to the HR department we have time”. Brooke said as she went around Zach’s desk and sat on his lap.

She had sent Ava on a fools chase on the second floor so that she could have time with Zach.

She had sworn that Zachary Lockhart would be hers come rain or high waters. He was just playing hard to get but she was confident that they would be together. She was the only girl he had bedded more than once so there was something that kept him coming back.

“Brooke I don’t have the time nor the patience to deal with you right now” Zach complained as he pushed her off him but she just went and sat on his desk.

“Baby you should fire that assistant of yours she insulted me at lunch today” Brooke said as she pouted.

“Hmm”

“Yes I was eating with my girls when she approached me and told me I was a nobody.” She continued on about nonsense which he ignored and got up. If he can’t chase her out he would go out himself.

“I need to use the bathroom will be back " he said as he made a run for it.He went next door to Ava’s office to hide there.

Ava entered Zach’s office angrily, it was rare to goad her temper but that crazy psycho was close. She found the object of her brass mood in her boss’s chair with the owner nowhere to be seen.

“Oh its you. Go and get me a skinny latte from Starbucks “ Brooke sneered.

“Miss Anderson did you need anything in here?” Ava asked ignoring what she asked.

“Did you not hear me?”

“I heard you but I do not work for you as you seem to forget” "Now are you going to tell me what you are doing here or should I call security. You know you are not allowed on this floor without  an order.”

“You can’t do anything to me Zach told me to wait for him here” Brooke replied with a smug as she spun the executive chair around.

Ava was getting fed up so she walked up to Brooke and abruptly stopped the chair almost making Brooke fall off. She bent down to her level and came up to her face.

“l know you made that bogus call from  HR with your minions you have tried to tick me off twice in one day. So I left a little something on all their desks here is yours.” Ava handed her an envelop with a smile.

Brooke took the letter with caution and read it slowly. Her face went from calm smug to an outraged expression as she stood up and glared at Ava.

“This is a written warning you have no authority to do this”  Brooke yelled.

“Oh but I do thats what I tried to tell you at lunch. I’m someone you don’t want to mess with”

“Zach will hear of this and put you in your place” Brooke yelled then turned to walk away.

Ava extended her leg and Brooke went flying while screeching and landed on the floor.

“Oops I guess karma got back at you for pranking me” Ava said smiling, granted it was childish but she could not help herself.

“You did that on purpose you …. You”

“Really do you have proof ." when Brooke remained quiet .“ thought as much now leave before you pop the other boob” Ava told her.

Brooke gasped then looked at her breast checking them for damage when she saw none she huffed and stormed out.

Ava burst out laughing as soon as Brooke was out of the room she straightened the office then went to hers. She was shocked when she found her boss sitting in her chair going through her things.

“Those are personal items Mr. Lockhart. Is your office not to your liking anymore? "
