Chapter Four: Minding... business?

There he stood in all his 6 foot 2 inches height and swimmer's body.  The youngest son of Lucas Levisay is currently wearing a pair of simple washed out jeans and white shirt, but why does he look so f****** edible to Linus?

 Okay, as a gay man, Linus is going to be honest.  He's always find Abe Levisay attractive and f*ckable.  Who wouldn't fall for his looks?  Only a blind man would think that Abe is unattractive.  And man, his eyes.  If Linus thought he's blinded by his eyes in photos, his eyes are the brightest pair of blue eyes he's ever seen.  And Linus already had a fair share of blue eyes he stared into as he pounded them into the mattress.

 Does he have a little crush on his enemy's son?  F*** no.  Does he want to sleep with him?  Yes and no.  Yes, if only he does not have the same surname as the Monster that killed Tyler.

 "Good morning, Dad."  Abe greeted Lucas almost inaudibly that proved that he is indeed timid.

 But hell if his soft voice did not have any effect on Linus.  Especially that part of his body.

 Lucas only hummed in answer and continued eating, while Lola rolled her eyes so far at the back of her head and Adrien however greeted his brother back.

 "Good morning, Squid."

 To Linus' surprise, Abe pouted despite his age like a child and sat down with the help of a maid.  "Stop calling me that."

 Linus blinked his eyes softly and tilted his head in confusion.  And Lucas said that Abe is his heir?  A guy who looks and talks like he wouldn't hurt a fly?

 Linus froze when their eyes connected and he could feel himself hardening under his gaze.  Under his curious and childlike state.  It felt like he's being electrocuted just by staring at his eyes.  Linus held his gaze in just like he did with Adrien, but with Abe, his gaze is pure curiosity and amusement.  Okay, maybe a little bit of admiration in them, but that's it.

 And then just as he predicted, the cute little giant with bright blue eyes looked away and focused his eyes on his plate.

 Linus is dismayed.  The guy with the face and body he's attracted to is straight.  Because what he saw in his eyes does not mirror his.  In Abe's eyes, there is nothing but pure curiosity.  Not like what he expected to see considering Linus is aware of just how men couldn't resist his charm.  Who wouldn't want a piece of him?

 The lovely breakfast of the problematic family continued with Linus' attention solely on Abe.  The longer he stared at him, the longer his interest in him slowly faded.  You see, cowardice is what Linus dislikes the most.  It is a turn off for him no matter how much he wants to bed someone.  The longer he watched him, Linus just couldn't see why he's going to be the heir and not Adrien.  Has Lucas lost his mind?

 After breakfast, he was told to follow his 'Master' to his office so he did.  When he got there he was made to stand at the door while Lucas sat in his chair and next to him stood Marcus.  Lucas casually picked his teeth in front of him like they know each other enough to act that way.  Like he didn't just turn him into a puppet and threatened him with his family's life.

 "Like I said, you are now Abe's bodyguard. You will protect him with your life and your death will only be acceptable if you caught a bullet for him. But as I said too, you are still my puppet. You are still under my  command and you will do as I say. If I say you protect him, you do so. If I tell you to kill him, you will obey without complaint."

 Linus' face scrunched up in disgust and he clenched his fists.  "Are you hearing yourself? That is your own son you are thinking of killing and not some of your men! Your flesh and blood! You really are a f****** monster!"  he bellowed in anger, his chest falling slow and heavy with his emotions.

 If it weren't for his men around them and Marcus next to him who was capable of shooting him, he would have kicked him and punched him. He has no heart!

 "Oh, don't be overdramatic. That was just an example."  Lucas said with a chuckle before picking up an envelope and throwing it in front of him.  "That is your new life from now on. You are Savage when you are in my house, but you can still be Linus Savage outside. And by outside, I meant away from your adoptive parents. You are forbidden to see or talk to them or anyone you know. You are now dead to them. You are already enrolled as Abe's classmate to better guide him and protect him. "

 Lucas stood up from his seat before flipping the used toothpick into the trash can and shooting it.  "I have an important task for you, Savage. I want you to shape my son into a man. I want you to prepare him to be my heir."  he started before scratching his chin and motioning for someone and a man automatically held a cigarette for him.  He puffed out a smoke before continuing.  "I won't have a clumsy and wimpy son as a Levisay. And if you don't succeed, your lives will be on the line."  After he said that, Lucas casually turned around like he did not just order his son's death if they both failed and dismissed him with a wave of his hand.

 Linus gritted his teeth, but did not say anything.  He picked up the envelope before walking out the already opened door.  With simmering emotion he crumpled the envelope before starting to walk somewhere.  He wasn’t sure where he was going or if he was going the right way, but he didn’t care.  He really wanted to go back there and grab a gun to shoot that monster, but he knew he couldn’t yet.  Right now he can do nothing but drown in his anger.

 After what seemed like forever of turning and walking, Linus reached a familiar hallway to his 'room' and he opened the door before closing it in anger.  He ruffled his hair in frustration and squinted his irritated eyes.  He needs to buy a new pair before he goes blind.

 Linus removed his clothes and left his boxer before sitting down on top of the king-sized bed and staring at the envelope, still tightly clenched in his hand.  He blew out a breath of frustration before deciding to finally open it. Inside, he found all types of documents and IDs that he'll need.  Linus laughed loudly, not sure if he should be impressed or terrified with their skills.  They even had the picture he often used for his part-time jobs.

 "F*** you and your power."  he said out loud before scanning through the files.

 Great.  He's now a Senior High School student without even asking for it!  How will he be able to be a student if he's never been one to begin with?  He grew up under a rather forced and fleeting education at the Orphanage and now he's suddenly a High School student?

 Linus is about to throw the papers away, but decided against it because he's not really in the mood to clean again.  Instead, he just piled them up under the mattress before falling back.  He stared up the ceiling and couldn't help but remember Abe.

 Such a pity that a beauty like him is in this house and is carrying the most dangerous and terrifying name there is.  And set to lead it one day.  A beauty in the middle of a war and chaos, that is Abe.  A beauty whose life now depends on him.  An innocent one surrounded by his mischievous family.  One wants to change him for the better and if not, will not hesitate to kill his own son.  One obviously dislikes him for the reason that he is not her son.  One who pretends to be a friend, but will stab him in the back one day.

 The Father I want to kill and the son I will have to protect from now on.  Heh, how ironic. He thought ironically. 

 After days of briefing and more boring conversations with Marcus about rules and things he can and can't do, Marcus himself tested his 'skills' and just how 'skilled' he is.  And to Linus' annoyance, he rated him as a f******* 'beginner', but enough to teach Abe.  He then scheduled him for weekly training and he did not complain, after all, that is what he wants.  He wants to be more skilled enough to fight them.

 And finally, the day he was not looking forward to came.  The day he will be a student and the day he'll set foot on Abe's School.  Strange enough, he saw how unfair their treatment of Abe was.  Lucas and Lola favored Adrien more and the latter has a whole ass van full of security while Abe only has him and a driver.  Is Linus missing something here?  Abe was the heir, but they are protecting and favoring Adrien more?

 Linus sat in the passenger seat beside the driver whose name he couldn't be bothered to know.  Because apparently, they change drivers every week.  Abe is sitting in the back silently.  His uniform is beginning to irritate his body.  Good thing he was able to stealthily buy a new pair of contact lenses when they gave him his 'allowance'.  Marcus was human enough to let him go out and do whatever.  Linus isn't stupid.  He will not go against their will knowing that they probably have eyes after him.

 It's so uncomfortable that he can almost hear Abe's every breath.  Come to think of it, they haven't shared any conversation.  Linus is not usually talkative, scratch that, you won't hear him talk around strangers, but he's as talkative as Donald Duck with those people he's comfortable with.  His face remains stoic as he stares outside as he's not only looking forward to studying and being a student, but he also does not want to mingle with the others.

 When they arrived, he raised his eyebrow when Abe hopped off without saying anything and hurried inside.  Linus rolled his eyes, already tired before hopping off and closing the door.  He instantly noticed eyes looking at him and Linus is used to it.  Linus resisted the urge to gag when he saw how the girls are eye-f***** him.

 He found women attractive, but not enough to want to sleep with them.  He might not be a flamboyant gay, but every part of his body screams gay and he will only screw a guy of his taste.  He embraced his sexuality long ago and he will not hide it to anyone.  Linus is aware of homophobia, but that won't stop him from showing them just how gay he is.

 Linus followed his schedule and tried his best to be a student.  When asked to introduce himself, he stood up front with his head held high before his eyes found Abe who's sitting at the back with his eyes looking outside.  Sunlight hit his already bright eyes and it made Linus wonder if it does not hurt his eyes.  His breath almost hitched when Abe turned those eyes to him, but Linus quickly reverted his eyes and looked around.  He instantly noticed who the bullies, the hoes and the nerds are.

 "Linus Savage."  he simply said, his eyes darting around before turning to the Teacher and nodding his head before going back to his seat.

 He knew it was enough to arouse their attention and their bodies.

 He's sitting two seats away from Abe, but enough to see what he's doing and throughout the class, Linus already noticed how the jocks are treating him.  There he would be stuffed with their papers and laughed at.  They will openly call Abe a 'freak' probably because of his eyes.  Linus was too restrained not to beat them up for what he was doing to Abe, but a part of him also wanted to see just how far Abe can ignore them.  He wants to see what kind of person he really is outside.  He wants to witness just how much of a coward he really is.

 And when break time came and Abe disappeared.  Linus did not know that he will witness just that.  From where he is,  three jocks are ganging up on Abe, Linus sat and watched from afar.  He watched how they touched his head, ruffled his hair or uniform, how they rummaged his bag before taking whatever benefits them.  He watched how Abe silently accepted it all.  He watched how he let them embarrass him in front of other students.

 Linus sighed before shaking his head.  He is indeed a wimp and a coward.  A coward who couldn't protect himself from bullies.

 Linus stopped and his blood froze, however when a jock punched Abe in the face before the two joined and landed punches in his body.  He found himself standing up even if he told himself he'll just watch.  He found himself walking closer to them and his walks eventually turned into running.

 And before he knew it, his fist was already flying to one of their faces.
