Omar and Sheikh Bakthir sat inside the boat, deep within the dark cave, where the sound of water echoing against the rocky walls made it feel as if the sea itself were breathing slowly.
A yellow lamp hung from the ceiling of the boat, casting trembling shadows across their faces, amplifying the tension that hung thickly in the air.
Omar leaned slightly forward, staring at the metal floor beneath his feet.
His features were pale, and his hands jittered nervously over his knees.
Omar (with genuine worry, in a low voice):
